"Unfortunately the only positive of dining here was our waitress was super sweet. She was also the only wait staff working covering as bartender and waitress. Hardly anyone in dining restaurant and food took forever to come out. My granddaughters chicken strips were inedible. Sent back. My steak frites was not hit and steak was no more than 4 ounces. Pretty sad! The waitress could not service our table because of all the tasks she had to handle. Breakfast next morning was not any better with dried up potatoes from probably 2 days ago. No coffee refill and again 1 waitress. Never again and I truly believe the focus was on the casino next door and not the hotel. Poor management was evident. Never again!"

"We were looking for a place to celebrate my birthday and what a wonderful find! We enjoyed the steak stir fry and steak rosemary fries. Our server will was fantastic and in the background was the March madness games playing so the bar was engaged! We loved the food, the great service and the slice of cheesecake with a candle on top! Thank you Kirby House, I enjoyed the day. My family did as well. The only issue was getting in to Grand Haven because the bridge is under construction and the detour signs were not helpful."

"I've always seen this restaurant on the way home. It looked very interesting. Today, I and my friend finally have the chance to check them out. We were satisfied with the service there! Our server made us very welcome and we even met the restaurant owner. The food is great and there is Long Island great! We can't wait to come back and check the live band on the weekend!"

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"I met an old friend here to watch a hockey game, and we had a great time. The service was excellent, and the food was quite good. I tried the chicken wings, which I would rate a 6/10, but the shrimp tacos were fantastic—definitely a 9/10! My friend had the half chicken, and while he enjoyed it, he mentioned that it was a bit dry. They also offer a nice selection of drinks and beers. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, but I would definitely return for the outstanding service and those tacos!"

"Stopped by this awesome homey restaurant in a huge car rest stop near Exit 34 of CA 60 E Pomona Freeway and IT WAS FANTASTIC. I got a full rest refueled myself with yummy Italian dishes, while my car was parked in a tree shaded spot which there are many! This place serves really nice Italian cuisine with European pub vibes atmosphere inside (I LOVE THIS FEELING SINCE WALKING IN OMG) Lovely music, partitioned seatings, dim lighting, great food smell, wine shelf, vintage restroom, etc.. Here are the cheat sheet if you are blank of what to order: ? starter cheesy garlic bread: perfect seasoning, crispy thin crust ? main low cal salmon: juicy tender salmon with nicely grilled veggies chicken masala: my favorite pasta OMG lasagna: soft properly cooked cheesy ? side (comes with main) Julie's wedding soup: delicious soup with a lot of ingredients salad (ranch, Italian dressing): fresh mix of your favorites ? drink Italian soda: carbonated creamy very yummm The staff here are all really nice and made me feel at home. "**Update: 6/25/23** Something about the name Honey Berry just screams “great breakfast” to me, and it didn’t disappoint. What surprised me, though, was the excellent and attentive service. This was my first dining experience inside the restaurant, and after a short wait, I was seated and promptly welcomed by a bright, energetic server named Margaret. **My Review:** The space is open and airy, allowing guests to enjoy their meals without feeling cramped, which is a definite plus. **Food:** Excellent and flavorful, served quickly. **Service:** After addressing my questions and providing recommendations, Margaret got to work. I noticed her checking on other tables regularly—she was always aware of her surroundings, moving around, and serving. It was refreshing! If you’re looking for attentive service during your meal, I hope you get Margaret—she’s fantastic! **Update: 8/5/23** When was the last time you had a piping hot meal served to you? At Honey Berry Café, I enjoyed fast, friendly service (thanks to Jadie, I believe) along with a hot meal. Still great, still consistent!"

"my friend and I have the $45 deal for Valentine's Day. the food was completely cut. I would have made the pork talloin home with more sauce and it would have been better. the kartoffels with which it came, had no soaking and were forced. my friends pheasant tapa was good, but I would have been hühner in caffe and it would have been better and cheaper. the whole place was an overpriced disappointment. Why did there only one clot in the seafood stew? why was the soup completely tasteless?"

"I had been turned off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium seldom (which is what happened), but it had no taste and was extremely chewy. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our $ 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"I would say the overall atmosphere and service carried the experience as the food was subpar. I had the chicken parm that was overcooked, burnt, and cooked in old and burnt oil. The pasta was also super disappointing while having a weird texture. And there was barely any sauce on the plate it felt like I got a massive bowl with a spoon full of sauce. I will give them their portions matched the price. However, the taste was simply lacking. The waitress was very kind. However, I do not see myself returning. My friend got a create your own spaghetti and meatballs and had similar issues of overcooked and falling apart. Maybe it was a bad night in the kitchen. We also got the loaded bread, which was the best thing we got but was also very mid as it was just bread with a hunk of mozzarella on it. Parking: Very small lot Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome but it's very high-end dinning"

"I went before heading to a concert. We booked a reservation on open table the day before. When I get there itâs crowded and the front desk tells me my reservation is no good because âtoo many people were walking in to eatâ.....that doesnât make any sense. Thatâs why I made a reservation..so I could RESERVE a table. We had to wait by the bar and finally got a seat at the bar after min and was able to order food. However, the kitchen was âbacked upâ so we actually never got to eat at the bar. Luckily, the bartender was a hero and did not make me pay and apologized times for the service. He actually caught me on the way out with my sandwich in a to-go box. Heâs the only reason I had somewhat of an ok experience. Overall, donât go here and they should be giving that bartender a raise."

"Just to clarify, the restaurant offers two buffet options. The breakfast buffet costs $12.95 and features only breakfast items, available until 10 AM. The brunch buffet is priced at $19.95 and includes a full range of buffet items—breakfast, lunch, desserts, and mimosas—starting at 10 AM. If you're not interested in the buffet, they also have separate breakfast and lunch menus. We opted for the brunch buffet and enjoyed both the food and the service. Be sure to come hungry!"

"Overall, it's a great place to dine. The selection of entrees is impressive, and the service is excellent. Both the restaurant and the restroom appeared clean. I ordered the meat lovers skillet, and I thought it was fantastic, contrary to a previous review I read. The coffee was good, and I appreciated that they left the carafe on the table—something I really enjoy. Our waitress was wonderful as well. My only suggestion would be to offer pure maple syrup; even if there's an extra charge, I'd be fine with that. There are customers like me who prefer to avoid imitation syrup. It's becoming increasingly hard to find a breakfast spot that serves the real thing, so having it available would definitely make me visit Stacks more often."

"Avoid this place at all costs! We were the only family in the restaurant, and it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The steak was bland, and the corn tasted old. The cream of chicken soup was also disappointing, and the mac and cheese was dry. We will definitely not be returning."

We had a pepperoni pizza, salad and cheesecake...it was all amazing ???? the only thing better than the food was the ice cold beer andour awesome server, Janell (apologies if I misspelled your name) The host (might have been manager or owner) was very welcoming and always smiling. I've been in the restaurant business my whole adult life and those 2 know what its all about. It's wonderfulto go into a restaurant where the staff is pleasant and appreciates you walking through the doors. Keep up the good work guys!"

"that was my fourth time to eat in the chocolate bar. I had a good experience before this. this experience was less than ideal. there was a big party that was so loud. the party laughed and screamed, and we couldn't hear ourselves at our table. we had to drive to the opposite side of the restaurant. they were in this special night out of mt. dew, which is only a small inconvenience. but the restaurant has only pepsi products. So, if you think that pepsi is terrible, like most people, then you understand the inconvenience that it is from mt. dew."

"I really like Burg Barrel and have been there quite a few times. My wife and I went there for a date night and it was a little busy, not a problem. We were seated and received drinks within about 5 min of being there. We put in our appetizer and entrée order. The appetizer came out in about 10 min. Our entrees, we waited an hour and still hadn’t received them. Not really sure what happened to our orders. Our waitress was able to comp our appetizer and drink. I was hoping that a manager came out to our table to give us some insight on what happened. Nope, no manager. They just sent a couple free entree cards out to us. Better than nothing I guess. I’ll still support this establishment, it was just disappointing because it was my wife’s first time eating there and I really bragged on how good it was."

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."
