"Almost every time I've ordered (but once), I've had a great experience with the food. I order from this place as a treat when either payday comes or I finally get a day off. The sauces are finger-licking good and the chicken is great. The chicken alone doesn't warrant a five stars but the rub and sauces used do. The Boom-boom sauce, the scorpion buffalo, and mango habanero are a must-try."

"We initially tried a popular restaurant across the street but ended up at this place due to the loud atmosphere and lack of our favorite beer at the other spot. We should have come here first! It was a Wednesday and the restaurant was not crowded, which was a nice change. The seating arrangements provided options for privacy or for groups to sit together. There were numerous TVs showing sports, our draft beer was available, and the food was excellent with generous portions for the price. The service was outstanding, with the server even engaging in some entertaining conversation at the end. We would definitely return here. The fish and chips were delicious, and my husband enjoyed the beef dip as well. The atmosphere allowed for easy conversation. It was definitely worth the drive, even from Calgary."

"Aesthetically this is a nice looking beer market/pub. Interior decor is subtle but relevant and all together the atmosphere is relaxing with sports on and brew signage. I like the concept but as any new establishment will admit the kinks haven't been ironed out fully here yet... Service was green. There looked to be only two ladies and one barman at the time we entered (12:30-1:00 pm) and from what I could see eight occupied tables. I do not know if there was a manager present at the time. We ordered beer but it did take the server an unnecessary amount of time to see us for the drink order - understandably because she had taken a couple payments as we sat and had tables to clean. But she cleaned the tables and made us watch her while we were thirsty so I think training here would be wise.We asked for recommendations for appetizers and settled on pickles. They came the size of a hot dog IN a bun. The batter was so thick they actually made me less hungry when I looked at them. We ate one each for good sportsmanship and asked her to take them away from the table because..well...need I say more? The tomato bisque was the best part since the steak sandwich was a sad thin strip of Alberta beef? we can only hope... To make the experience worse we were made to pay for the terrible deep-fried pickles. Maybe I am picky but I wouldn't recommend eating here. At least not until they work on presentation and customer satisfaction. Also noticed there is no automated door for wheelchair access. Some things to think about..."

"found a great new spot in Worcester for food and fun...Smokestack Urban Bbq in Kelly Square...place is very hip..is that still a word?...but it's a fun place with lots of craft beer on tap and creative drinks...the bbq offerings are the focus here but they have other items that most spots have like salads and burgers...the chalkboards around the space offer drink options...I had the John Daly made with sweet tea, lemonade and vodka...hit the spot...I had the pulled pork and I chose baked beans and apple slaw for my sides...my mom and my buddy Sylvester English make much better baked beans than these and the slaw wasn't anything unique...figured apple slaw would be quite course and crunchy..wasnt....cornbread was moist and tasty...great bbq sauces on the table for your meats and they were very good..loved the one based with molasses...tasted the boys Mac and Cheese and their brisket and chicken...very good...the address here is Green Street and I noticed there were other restaurants in the neighborhood that looked very interesting like Birchtree Bread Company and the Hangover Pub...only thing we found odd was how bitchy the waitress was...strange...but aside from her, highly recommend this bbq spot"

"Haven't been to this location in awhile so decided to order today, wow what a mistake!! The biscuits n gravy were horrendous, not even the same recipe that it used to be. Fruit cup wasn't even a 3rd way full and had rotten pineapple all in it. Scrambledeggs literally tasted like burnt grease...not even a fresh egg flavor. Its sad bc I used to like this place. Definitely notworth the price...if you are looking to stop in just keep driving. 7 bucks for 4 small sausage links...those were the only thingworth eating out of this trip."

"I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! Today was my first visit, and I was truly impressed. The place was quite busy, but every guest received a warm greeting and a smile upon entering. Despite the crowd, my order was taken promptly, and the food was served quickly. The sausage links were the best I’ve ever had! In addition to breakfast, they also serve lunch with an interesting menu selection. I noticed a variety of mimosas and Bloody Marys on the menu as well. I will definitely be returning!"

"Let me begin by saying that I am an extremely selective eater, especially when it comes to Southern cuisine, having been born and raised in South Carolina. Without a doubt, this is the BEST breakfast spot in the entire area! I have lived here for three years and just recently discovered this amazing place. The biscuits and gravy were spot on – bursting with flavor. I requested my hash browns extra crispy to soak up that gravy, and they were cooked to perfection! The bacon was outstanding; it was crispy without being raw or overcooked. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I can't wait to order from them again. I'll also be visiting their restaurant in the coming weeks! And if you're looking for authentic Southern sweet tea, this is definitely the spot!!! I rate this place a 20 out of 10 for their quick service and the remarkable quality of the food! I took some pictures after I had already started eating, as the food arrived hot and fresh! I couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off my day!"

"My Husband and I had a wonderful time at Steam Plant! This was my second time here, the first time was with work. Our server Brittany was over the the top! She was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was great! We ordered mussels, two pizzas, and the Oreo sandwich for dessert. Everything tasted amazing! "the server saved this review only reason i gave the stars she was great Maddie did everything she cld to make our dining experience enjoyable i’ll start off by saying this i checked in at the host stand 6:38 pm was told a forty min wait i said that’s okay so i loafed around the dock waitin to be buzzed 80 mins later the manager asked if we had been seated yet we told her no an she had us seated promptly but they had sat a 15 top previously anyway 30 min passes we get apps an then 30 mins we get our food my daughters buffalo wrap had to be made three times once they put slaw on it again they made it with shrimp an on the third time they actually got it right my wife ordered the salmon an fries an instead she got coleslaw instead of fries my father in law got catfish an fries both was cold my buddie james got catfish an fries an never received his fries i ordered the chicken an waffles an gator tail bites an what really shocked me was my bill it was 229 after all the mistakes to put it polite an the wait. Sad thing is we own property nearby and we will never be back to this restaurant thank you again to the server Maddie"

"What a sad experience. We had a large party and a 6:30pm reservation made almost two months ago. We arrived on time but weren’t seated until 7:15 and then only after we were forced to ask for a manager’s intervention. Two of our nine meals were improperly prepared and the same disinterested manager passed our concerns off as “out of her control” … but not before adding a “mandatory” 20% gratuity to our bill. "As a truck driver this was my first stop here. The food was GREAT! Bartenders were super fun and friendly. I ordered the 16oz Prime rib that was super tender and tasty. I loved the cup of chili as well as the wings. I ordered wings with half honey BBQ and half dry rub . They came out with honey BBQ all over them but I liked the taste. They are huge in size... can you say steroids! But I liked them anyway. My biggest peave were the fruit flys around the bar. Not crazy but enough to be annoying. But I knew it wasn't 5-star dining before I entered. I enjoyed the company of those around me for the night and would definitely come back."
