"After a few visits, I can safely say I love it here. My vegan bestie discovered Double Zero and I had had her pizza leftovers a few times, so I was excited and looked up the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Matthew Kenney has a number of restaurants including Liora. Their menu isn 't too extensive, but it is full of hits. It is right next door to Double Zero, so I saw the similarly beautiful space and was ready to plan visits. The food is filling, satisfying, tasty, scrumptious. You don 't miss animal products at all. When reading the menu, you might even wonder how they are calling things creamy or steak and you just have to go with it. I adored the risotto here; I had the beetroot myself and tried a friend 's winter squash variation previously, so I knew it would be on point. The presentation is always stunning, and the service is excellent from greeters to servers. I have a hearty appetite, and having the risotto actually filled me up along with a couple of bites from my friend 's salad and baklava (which was a generous size).Don 't skip dessert! I have been blown away multiple times by the dessert. The banana pudding is decadent, and the carrot cheesecake is dreamy. After coming here, I literally went back and edited my review for DC 's F*ncy R*dish because I was like, ok, it was so clearly mid compared to THIS stunning meal. This leaves you wanting more and you don 't regret a thing or wish you had a different non-vegan version."
