"We traveled six hours from North Carolina and made a reservation for Mother's Day based on TikTok reviews. When we arrived, the restaurant was CLOSED! I never received any email notifying me of the closure. In fact, I received an email the day before asking me to confirm my reservation, which makes the situation even more confusing. I initially booked on April 5 for Saturday, May 13, then made a change to the reservation on April 24 for the same day but at a different time, and another change on May 9 to move the date to May 14. At no point was I informed that it would be closed! This was a terrible Mother's Day experience. We ended up having to order food from another restaurant for pickup because everywhere else was fully booked. The service from both the vendor and OpenTable was unacceptable!"

One of the few upscale plant based restaurants we have experienced. Food was excellent and not something you could easily execute at home

Even if I were not vegan, I would heartily recommend Liora. The service, the food, the ambiance, and the vibe were exactly what we wanted on a chilly night. So glad to have a good restaurant with vegan foods in our area.

Liora is outstanding in every aspect. My partner and I are not vegan, and we have dined at restaurants all over the globe. Liora has undoubtedly provided us with the most intriguing dining experience we've ever shared. The food was impeccable. View menu

Highly recommend. Beautiful environment, welcoming staff. I felt so taken care of from the time I walked in the door to the time I came out. Love the mocktails and pumpkin pancakes and those vegan chocolate chip cookies are to die for. Looking forward to coming back!

We went to Loira on New Year’s Eve for dinner but we were disappointed that the only available menu was the Pre Fixed 5 course meal. We did enjoy the cocktails. That said the wait staff not dressed in in a professional manner- perhaps this in keep with the vegan restaurant.

I've visited Liora several times, and each experience has been outstanding. The staff is very attentive to food allergies and consistently makes sure that every guest is satisfied. The food is incredible, but it's the ambiance and service that will definitely bring me back. View menu

The service was quite slow, and we waited an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, it was disappointing. Our pancakes were burned, and the brunch menu was limited, featuring only basic options that we could easily make at home. Overall, the dishes did not appear nearly as sophisticated as the pictures on the website suggested.

We enjoyed our dinner at Liora very much. The cheese plate was an excellent sharing dish, and we had tasty mocktails. The entrees were good, especially the butternut squash risotto, and the rum cake was satisfying and delicious. I thought that the menu was over-focused on trying to be what it doesn't need to be--substitutes for typical non-vegan dishes. I wished there were dishes that just celebrated vegan food in itself and didn't try to imitate regular cuisine. Service was attentive and friendly. We did not feel rushed and took our time with the meal. We were seated at a table even though our reservation was for the bar.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
