"It?s a hit or miss. One visit I get good service and fresh food, the next I don?t. I know every time we wait entirely too long for our orders to arrive. I witnessed chefs/kitchen staff hanging at the back of the store smoking and seriously taking it slowand easy, just hanging and talking to each other, for 20 minutes on a busy Friday night! It was insane. When the cooks/staffwalked back into the restaurant and into the kitchen, they were walking at a snail?s pace. That night we waited 40 minutes forour food. Also their aprons were filthy and their beards/hair were not groomed. I would love this restaurant but it?s a gambleand the food is too expensive to gamble on a cold steak. I wish they had better management that supervised and made employeeshustle instead of watching them talk to each other while customers need refills on their drinks and hot food."

"We passed through after we finished hiking in CVNP. We were hungry and the food hit the spot. We got the loaded Mac with brisket and the chin dropper sandwich with brisket. The bread that the sandwich is on is amazing and buttery and altogether delicious, I really feel like that’s what made the sandwich! I found the brisket to be tough and dry but the rest of the food tasted great. The Mac n cheese had good flavor to it and was super cheesy. We also added coleslaw, sour cream, and bean salsa on top. I would say this is average BBQ, nothing exceptional, but it sure tasted good on an empty stomach! The staff member that I was served by was very friendly to me and I was taken aback by his genuine hospitality. I was served quickly and in out in a matter of minutes."

"So normally I would give a restaurant like this 5 stars. The food was wonderful, our first bartender was busy but did a great job. But here is where our experience fell short. We closed our over a $100 bar tab because we had friends who came later and we wanted to see them before we headed out. "Our first night in Nashville Tennessee and we thought we would give this place a try. At first I was impressed with their variety of choices on one of my favorite drinks, an Old Fashion. We started off with the Fries Green Tomatoes , which came highly recommended by our server. When it came out it looked like a spin on a Capresa Salad. The tomatoes were fried in the same batter that they fry the catfish in. The taste was overwhelming, while the balsamic glaze was think and gooey. It was garnished with diced red tomatoes and feta cheese. For dinner we had and Avocado BLT with fries and my date had the fired catfish. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease and hung over the drier for way to long. The bread on my sandwich held a gallon of grease, the tomato was a fried green tomato that carried with it a fishy taste. To top it off it had a strong garlic mustard that did not mesh with the fishy BLT served on the greasy sour dough bread. The other dish had a ?coleslaw? that mainly tasted of vinegar and black pepper. The fires were saturated in grease and the tarter sauce?. well I have no words. How ever the catfish was nicely and flakey, it did not taste like dirt and was the best thing at the table."

"I am unsure where to start? I truly want to love this BBQ restaurant but the last three times I?ve ordered food, they clearly forgot the BBQ sauce. I?ve called each time to explain my dissatisfaction but I?m put on hold for a supervisor or manager and no one ever comes back. Considering that our average order is around $80 and I?m using Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on my food, I?m pretty disappointed! The other items are great but that?s not why I?m ordering from there. So sadly, I have to say, it just isn?t worth the cost. Perhaps a dine-in experience would be different."
