"The food at the restaurant was excellent, but the service was lacking. We were incorrectly charged for 5 drinks instead of the 4 we had ordered, but the waitress did not understand when we tried to explain the mistake. We ended up paying for the extra drink. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and one was incorrect and had to be sent back (which was the extra drink we had paid for). When we asked for the bill, it also took another 20 minutes before we received it. Overall, we enjoy dining at Mr. Mikes, but the service on this occasion was not up to par."

"They didn’t have any 6 or 7 ounce steaks on a Friday for supper, for the weekend. Was very poor planning on their part. Asked if we could have the 8 ounce steak at a reduced price, because of their poor planning, but they said no. We ended up getting something else instead, but it was inferior. Mr Mikes will be low on our list of restaurants to choose from going forward."

"Update. Changed my review. After reply to first review asking for myself to contact them which I received on Mar and replied to the listed email Mar As of yet no response to my email. Just another disappointment for lack of customer service from whomever is in charge. Went for anniversary booked through Opentable. Put anniversary info when making reservations. Figured that info would be part on info in booking. Well nothing was mentioned by staff of this. So though it was a good meal i figured there would be something extra since I put it was for an anniversary. Sadly not. Now this could be an OpenTable problem or a Mr Mike's problem. Either way is was a bit disappointing in that aspect"

"This would be our second visit here in three years. To start, the atmosphere is comfortable and pleasing. It was a little chilly at first but we were sitting on the lounge side closest to the door. The server was very nice and receptive throughout the entire visit. Big plus! Initially, we ordered drinks, but the drinks were not made correctly. The server noticed no one was enjoying them, so they were taken off our bill. I appreciate that! I think this place is not for mixing spirits other then the common, simple highballs you can get anywhere. The food was okay. My steak was cooked to almost a well-done when I asked for a medium rare. All the other dishes on the table seem to be enjoyed. Overall I was a little disappointed in the experience. But others in the party believed it was average after the mixed drinks."

"Do not bother visiting this restaurant. Despite there being only five tables in use, we were unable to get a server to take our drink order, which is unacceptable. We were eager to try the burgers, but unfortunately, we will never know what they taste like. Additionally, when we arrived, there was no one at the front to greet us. We had to search the dining room and found two people chatting in the kitchen, indicating how disorganized and unprofessional the establishment was. Overall, it is not worth your time to visit this restaurant."

"Absolutely horrible!!! Ordered dinner for pick up at 5, picked up at 530. Got home and it was missing my daughters meal, so we called and they said it would be delivered. I give them specific directions as my address doesn't show up proper in google maps. Waited 20 min (we live 5 min away) I called them back and they said they needed to confirm my address.... I give them directions again to my house and wait another 20 minutes... They call me and tell me they need to confirm my address yet again and that it is not correct. Again I give them exact directions and ask if they will be sending a new order since it had been over an hour at this point and the food would be cold. Another 20 minutes and we finally get the food, I had asked for a refund at this point which they gave us 20 bucks for the one burger. Daughter opened the bag and no side with the burger.... You're kidding right! So I call back again, manager will have to call me back. Another 30 minutes later I get a call, she said oh the side must have been in the first bag you picked up.... It was not.. The other burgers came with the side in the same box. Then I was told it shouldn't matter since we got the 20 dollar refund (our bill was $81) so no side, no apology and over 2 hours of ridiculousness. The manager didn't not seem to have a care and was fine with losing our business, which she certainly did!! Plenty of great restaurants in Olds, don't waste your money here!! "

"The restaurant looked about 75% full. To be fair our waitress had a large party also at the same time. I asked for our salads to be brought first. It came with my steak. This means that my steak cooled before I was done eating my salad. I didn't get my mixed drink until halfway through my meal when I finally asked. It's not a pleasant or relaxing meal for me when I have to keep asking for my original order. It wasn't a cheap place to eat so I really expected better service."

"Wow for two tired old souls looking for some good food after hiking all day boy did we hit the jack pot! The staff was incredible thank you Alyssa Beavcage for you great service with a smile. The food was the best we had steak,lobster,shrimp and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Wished we had know about this place sooner so that we could plan our day around a meal we would eat there. It has just opened but from what I saw it will be around a good long time."
