A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. "We purposely booked a hotel right next door so we could easily walk to the restaurant. This was our third visit and we were looking forward to enjoying perfectly made cocktails and delicious meals. Once again, we were not disappointed. The bartender, Wyatt, remembered us, and even remembered my cocktail of choice. We had a great time chatting with other customers at the bar. The restaurant is still known for their large plates and heavy flatware, which I appreciate. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were a perfect combination and absolutely delicious. The banana bread pudding is a must-try. I also ordered a wedge salad so I could sneak a bite from my husband's large plate."

"This was my first visit to Nicola. I think there are quite a few excellent classic Italian restaurants in Columbus. I felt I was getting nickel and dimed. I feel paying for bread is a little much in an Italian restaurant in Columbus. The food was good, but the menu is a little limited. Our service was good and because we needed five checks an additional charge was supposed to be added to our bill. Our waiter said he didn't do that which I felt was very nice. I guess you might say everything was good, but certainly not at the level I read about in the reviews."

"Popped in for a late Sunday dinner after hitting town. Alec was Fanta at the bar and great pre-dinner apple drink and then great drink for the trout dinner. Green Chile soup the edamame wontons and trout special were fantastic. Great flavors. Love the fresh concept and quality ingredients. Go see Garret and Alec. Definitely a great find on a Sunday night. Will be back either with my local team or my friends who live in the area. Awesome food service quality product at a great price."

"Went there with my non vegan family and they also loved it and go there regularly. They have a very balanced menu with balanced amount of vegan, vegetarian, and meat eating options. Super friendly and attentive staff with very quick service."
