"Came across this place while visiting the Downtown Container Park. They have a sign on the front that says that we're voted #2 for Whiskey Bars in the US or something like that. My husband and I were intrigued because he's a real whiskey lover.It's a small single bar with some seating. Kind of has an old-timely feel. Even the bartenders were giving those vibes. They have those manly aprons with the leather straps. They have other drinks besides whiskey drinks, but since that's why we were there, we went with a pair of whiskey cocktails. I had the whiskey smash which was really lovely. Flavorful, sweet, and a little sour. It had fig and sage garnish. My husband had the Smoke Spice, Nothing Nice. They make it with this piece of wood and a blow torch to get the smoky BBQ flavor. It also has a smoked salt rim. My husband loved it.Was a really nice, relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Fremont. A little whiskey oasis if you will. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area."
