"We were disappointed to have to sit outside, but we understand that it’s a result of the pandemic, which isn’t the staff's fault. The special menu was also limited, but that’s understandable since it was only their second day of opening. Eric was fantastic, and we’re looking forward to returning when we can sit at the bar and enjoy watching the cocktails being made. We’re also eager to try the regular menu. Thank you!"

Bummer we had to sit outside, but this is the pandemic, not their fault. Also limited special menu. As it was open for her second day. Eric was great. We look forward to coming back when we sit at the bar and see cocktails made. Back to the regular menu. Thank you. View menu

It was a bit disappointing that we had to sit outside, but that’s just the reality of the pandemic, and it's not their fault. The specials menu was also quite limited, which is understandable since it was only their second day open. Eric was fantastic, though! I’m really looking forward to returning once we can sit at the bar and watch the cocktails being prepared, as well as to enjoy the full regular menu. Thank you!

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
