"I myself and three friends had dinner at captain john’s. when we received our orders, we all had a great part in unbeatable means of life. the oysters were small and burned and I think the oil was bad. I am not exaggerated when I say that every member of my party has given up her food once we have returned to our rooms. stay away! After we had paid, we told the manager, mr. frank, that this was our worst seafood experience and he said we were the only complain he received tonight. we must be the only people who have eaten there today."

"We had a party of 25 people and not one person was satisfied with their food. We had ages between 10 years old to 75 years old and nothing appealed to anyone. Shrimp was very bland. Hamburger steak was a NO. serving sizes where a tad smaller then expected. and it was also very LOUD in there. Waitress was great though. Don’t expect to have a parking spot for some reason. Also no kids menu? They had hamburgers but that was the only choices that would appeal to children. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2"

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

"Should have noticed this was going to be a mediocre experience when we walked over sticky floors to be sat in the corner. We switched to the sushi bar and after we ordered, noticed the men rolling the sushi weren’t wearing gloves. Pretty sure that’s basic health code… sushi pretty much tasted like the excessive amount of mayo and sauce they drowned the rolls in. The volcano roll was disgusting. I wouldn’t feel that to my dog. I wouldn’t eat that if I was starving. I’d rather avoid feeling nauseous after sushi. Just a gross and disgusting experience. Everything else was just mediocre. Wouldn’t recommend."

"Every year my and I go to Charleston South Carolina for vacation and to visit with my mother in law. One of the tasks we give ourselves is going home with shrimp for the next year. Mount Pleasant seafood is one of the businesses we use for that purchase. Located right at Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Very easy to locate and plentiful parking. Shrimp is not the only seafood one can acquire in this establishment . They have a wide variety of seafood, mainly saltwater fish but all fresh. They can also ship to your location in the lower 48 states. Pricing varies according to the yield at the time of your order. The shrimp are exceptional quality and very clean. You can get them serviced, anyone who has experienced shrimp knows what that means. The store also has spices and merchandise related to seafood. This is a place well worth a visit if you are ever in Charleston South Carolina, highly recommended."

"we had a reservation for dinner at 17 o'clock. when we arrived, they told us that they did not serve until 18 o'clock, but the open table took our 5pm reservation. we were then offered the lunch menu. it was in order, but we were on items on their dinner menu. they started a new menu and neglected to openly say that they were later opened in the evening. our waitress was beautiful and very accommodating"

"If you have some time to spare before getting on one of the boats in Barnegat Light, this charming little village is worth a visit. The shops are small but adorable, offering a variety of typical beach merchandise. However, I wouldn’t suggest going out of your way to come here, as there aren’t many stores and they tend to close early. There is a tiny produce shop that offers a limited selection of fruits and vegetables, most of which appeared quite fresh. Overall, we were able to explore the entire village in about half an hour."
