I felt elation, passion, adventure, and pure bliss. Every bite took me further. My partner had the lasagna, which he ate frequently some years back, and returned to a new found love, after years of its absence. I too had a bite of his meal, it was divine. We started with an arugula salad, the freshest I've ever had and ended with a flourless chocolate cake. The perfect kiss goodnight baked into a small gift.
