"As for the rainbow roll, it was fresh and enjoyable. My only complaint was that the pieces were quite large—there were six pieces, and each one had both fish and avocado in a single bite, except for the ends. If you have a small mouth, it can be a challenge! One piece felt like it was about 1.5 or 2 regular-sized pieces. However, the fish was wonderfully tender, and when combined with the rice and tempura shrimp, it wasn't too difficult to pop the whole thing into my mouth. It was a bit of a magical experience, even if it wasn't the most graceful to watch!
Overall, this place has a cozy, mom-and-pop vibe—it's not fancy, but the prices can be somewhat upscale. At the time of my visit, there were only a few of us dining in, and I noticed just 2-3 staff members working: the cook, the front host, and maybe someone in the back. The host was very attentive and seemed to know the regulars well. I hope they can hire more help as they get busier with dine-in customers. And if the cook or waitress happens to read this, could you please ask your mom to cut the sushi pieces smaller? Maybe aim for 7-8 pieces? Thanks for the meal!"
