"Happened to stay at the Radisson across the street and walked down the street filled with Korean restaurant and karaoke bars. Kunjip is as Korean as it gets. Ordered a spicy pork bibimbap which came with a tofu seafood soups and other condiments like kimchi plus the Korean ride wine soju. The order was actually good enough for two and had to take away. Authentic fare with the hot stone pot species just right for my palate. Had a bizarre encounter though with another patron sitting next to me has a fight with his lady friend and left in a fit@ of rage. In the process he left his phone behind which I pointed out to the restaurant staff and some other customers seated next to me. The guy came back and, I suspect he was on drugs, accused me of trying to steal his phone. He screamed to all the guests that I stole his phone, tried taking my photo, called me a Pakistani and hurled abuses till the staff intervened and I asked them to call the police as he was getting physical. Fortunately I stayed calm but it messed up my evening. Advice to restaurant management please don't let this customer in your restaurant again. He can make you lose a lot of business and your customers may not come back. The staff and guests apologized and felt sorry but the whole experience was bizarre."

"Super friendly Mom and Pop restaurant. Food was fantastic, homey. We started off with rice cake appetizer, it was tasty and we asked for no spicy since my kids don't eat spicy. The marinated pork belly was succulent and made with just the right amount of sizzle and sauce. We also got the bibimbap (sizzling rice bowl, beef) and Soondubu (tofu soup,seafood). You know a place is legit and fresh if they can adjust taste to your liking. We adjusted the spiciness of all. Their bon chon was of fish cake, marinated beans sprouts, cold blanched broccoli with side of spicy, and kimchi. We enjoyed all of the food. Will be coming back again."

"I am so glad that Ive finally found a place that satisfies my cravings for pork rib soup! The soup was really good! The soup contains many pork ribs pieces, with some vegetables, and rice cakes. The pork ribs are filled with flavor, and cooked to super tender. AND!!!! when you are almost done with the soup, they put 2 bowls of rice into the soup and mix it into a kimchi rice dish. The rice ends up absorbing all the goodness in the soup and it is so flavorful! The seafood pancake was heavenly as well. Not only that it contains actual seafood, but also the pancake was the perfect texture, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was seasoned very well with scallion and some other magical stuff. The palace gets a bit busy around dinner time but the staff are super friendly and helpful, and they try really hard to make your experience more pleasant despite the long wait."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, which serves truly authentic Korean cuisine! The service was friendly and prompt, especially impressive given that they were a bit understaffed and busy at the time. Having lived in Korea for a year, I found that the fantastic flavors, beautiful dishware, and complimentary banchan (side dishes like kimchi and bean sprouts) brought back wonderful memories of my time there. I absolutely love that small side dishes are always included in Korean meals, as it's a unique aspect of the food culture that many people outside of Korea might not be aware of. Their kimchi was particularly delicious. I will definitely be returning!"

"While it's not the best Korean restaurant out there, they do offer a diverse range of Korean dishes and are open 24/7! If you're craving Korean food, you'll find some tasty options here. Their Jokbal, Bossam, and Gukbab are quite good, and their Soon Tofu is decent too. However, I wasn't impressed with the Galbi Tang. In the summer, I tried the cold noodles and found the flavor to be quite off-putting—I wouldn't recommend them. The delivery traffic is quite heavy, which can block the entrance when there are too many orders waiting. Parking isn't too difficult, but it can get tricky during busy hours when other restaurants are nearby."

"The food was excellent; I had the spicy pork, which I really enjoyed. The kimbap was also delicious and made the lunch worthwhile. I would recommend having the restroom cleaned more thoroughly and providing iced water, especially since it was over 100 degrees earlier. Aside from that, everything else was great. Food: 5/5"

"We arranged catering for a gathering of 25-30 people, and the food exceeded our expectations. The pickup was seamless; everything was neatly prepared and sealed in serving trays. The dishes were fresh and bursting with flavor. Although the prices were slightly higher because we paid for each item individually without any bulk discounts, it was absolutely worth it, particularly since they are one of the few, if not the only, Korean catering options available in Richmond. Thank you once again!"
