"I have no issue with the food being served at this restaurant as it was very tasty. However, my concern lies with the cleanliness of the establishment. It does not appear to be well-maintained and the food preparers do not wear gloves. They touch various surfaces, including tables and TVs, which could potentially harbor bacteria before handling the food. With the current variants of COVID-19, I have decided not to dine here again. Although my wife enjoys dining at this restaurant, I will opt to spend my money at other establishments, like El Gordo, where I can personally observe the kitchen and see how the food is prepared."

"This tiny restaurant is a pretty nice place to have a quick lunch while being in Elizabeth New Jersey. Especially for those who have to serve as jurors. The Court House is on tbe opposite corner of this restaurant, so if you dont like the food served in the cafeteria inside the building, I strongly recommend you to stop by this small restaurant. Prices are pretty good and you will get lots of food with a great Latin American flavour."

"I'm sorry to report that my experience at this restaurant was rather disappointing. I ordered half a braised chicken along with a salad and fries, but when I tried the chicken, it had a foul, spoiled taste. I mentioned this to the staff, but they only offered me a quick apology. To add to my dissatisfaction, I was charged for the lemonade I had ordered, and I left feeling quite unwell. Food: 1 Service: 1."

"This restaurant is fantastic! As a local, I took a friend who was visiting, and we both enjoyed our meals. Everything was fresh when we ordered, and there was a great variety of dishes to choose from. The staff were really friendly, and the owners were exceptionally nice. "So dissatisfied with the smallest portion I 've ever seen for a Lomo Saltado, little if any fries at all, as skinny as the ones they make at a fast food place I will not mention the name of, but starts with an M.Old and stale tasteless beef.Better make improvements on that particular dish, for the sake of other people 'cause I am not coming back. Paid almost 30 dollars plus tips and a cup of lemonade?Kudos to the Leña Y Carbón in Union Ave. That one is the best!"

"I haven’t been here in almost a year. Today my dad and I finally decided to stop by. We’re satisfied with what we ordered. What I love the most about this restaurant is their “chicha morada” very very authentic to the restaurants back in Perú. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Every 5-10min they’ll check on us. Mind you, it does take a while for the food to arrive. Worth the wait though. I’ll definitely stop by more often"

"I thought that the food was tasty, but my experience turned sour due to service. We got there at 9 and ordered at 9:30. I was aware that the restaurant closes at 10 and could see that service staff were eager to leave, which I understand because of how laborious and exhaustive it is to work in the hospitality industry, but that shouldn’t warrant a lack of attention from service. We ordered 200 worth of food drinks and we had to get up for plates utensils, even though only a few people remained in the restaurant. On top of that we were charged auto gratuity for a group of 3, which made matters worse. If auto gratuity is implemented then service should be at least somewhat consistent."

"We like to try restaurants with a special difference . Vista Peru fit perfectly. With so many in Philadelphia we are drawn to ethnic foods. Both of us like to cook so when we tasted the dishes carefully crafted by the Vista Peru chefs, and served to us so pleasantly by Dolce we were entranced by the combination of fresh produce, subtle aromas, and marinades that created delicate spicy flavors. After enjoying the dinner we understood the simplicity of the décor of minimal distraction. It was well worth wilding the windy weather; and we were rewarded by that fragrant dinner two days later at home."

"Me and my boyfriend was seated and the waitresses were so nice. They were really sweet and they offered us free drinks twice and we don't drink but it was really nice anyway.Even though the waitresses was nice, the food was bad I'm sorry.I'm peruvian and the food was just not good. The Lomo Saltado was kind of sour, the fries were the frozen kind and the rice tasted burnt.The papa a la huancaina was...not good either. The sauce was cold like it came from the fridge, the sauce didn't taste like a la huancaina. It tasted different, it just wasn't the flavor it should had been. It felt like they use the wrong ingredients.The chi cha was watery and a little bit sour.The chicken was good actually.But that was it. The price was fair but the food just was not good I'm really sorry."

"This was a great lunch spot. And after dining I. I'm sure the night life here is amazing. Lots of big TV's for futbol and great Peruvian food. Generous helpings and good price. I tried something other than chicken for once and was pleasently surprised. This fried pork was amazing. Can beat fat juicy pork bites fried up fresh. Yucca was a great side as well. Highly recommend the chicharones y yucca. Filled me up and had leftovers for dinner! Ohh and do not sleep on the onion salsa that really was the best part. Secret amazing sauce. I would eat a bowl of it on its own."

"I’ve eaten Peruvian food at many places in various states and this one was nothing special. The food was ok, I expected to be amazed. Prices are through the roof. The food serving was less than what I expected for the price. I paid $25 for a plate of shredded chicken in sauce with white rice and a juice (Chicha). Can’t seem to justify it. If at least the food was great I would rate it differently. Go to Paterson, New Jersey. You won’t be disappointed. The shops up here don’t have enough good competition, so you’re stuck and that’s why they charge ."

"It was my mother-in-laws birthday. The food was okay. Everyone seems pleased with their meals, aside from myself and my mother-in-law who didn’t realize our entire meal would be a pile of fried shellfish and fish, including imitation crab meat. The tres leches is not a moist cake, but it was a good cake. The server ignored us a few times and just pretty much dropped down the plates and walked away. Very rude. The owner and/or chef did come out and introduce herself and ask how everything was which is the only reason I give this restaurant more stars."
