"Robert’s just started serving brunch on the weekends and the food was fabulous, as were the service, ambiance and bottomless mimosas. I have eaten here for lunch and dinner as well and the food is unfailingly delicious and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. Our waitress was wonderful, and others stopped to check on us as well, including the owner, Robert, who could not have been nicer or more humble. Apparently his wife is the one deserving the praise for the lovely decor. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. My only regret is that I didn’t discover it until the Fall!"

"I've been here once and will not return. I was with a work group but with no reimbursement. I wanted to cry when I saw the prices; it was so out of my reach that I ordered the least expensive item on the menu (nothing special, particularly for the price). I also ordered a glass of house cabernet (generally least expensive). When I received my tab, the ONE glass of wine was $15. I told the server there must be a mistake. She said they didn't have house cabernet and so what I was served was $15. I told her she should have told me they did not have a house cabernet; I would never have ordered this. She treated me with disdain and shrugged me off I guess I wasn't good enough [wealthy enough] to warrant honesty and respect from this establishment. Fine; I'm in a different income bracket now and will gladly take my business to establishments with good food that is not ridiculously priced, and with honest, friendly, and respectful service. Any time someone suggests trying this place, I warn them off and we go elsewhere."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"thanks for a great meal. This is a very cozy restaurant. I mean that in a positive way. The temperature, lighting and din of diners were inviting and welcoming. They had front and rear eating areas both nice. The tables and chairs were not uncomfortable and separated nicely. The noise was a little loud but maybe that's because we sat next to the bar. The service was perfectly attentive and helpful. We started with the warm antipasto. Baked claims were delicious. A little smallish but had a perfect amount of breadcrumbs and seasoned splendidly. The rice balls were so tender and mixed with delicious cheese. The shrimps were smallish but not disappointingly so. They too were delicious The calamari...there were no tentacles which to me is normally the sin qua non of pork anus being clandestinely used as a substitute for the calamari. Not here. The calamari was delicious! Lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. For my main meal, I asked for them to make me veal parmigiana. They obliged; and I was in heaven. The veal was tender and perfectly hugged by a toothsome crust. It was coated with some wonderful mozzarella cheese and baked marvelously until piping hot. So, there are no free lunches and the issue here was it was a very small portion two 3 inch medallions. I'm in a diet so was in mirthful glee because the small potion prevented me from over eating, but in all fairness...for an average diner with an above average appetite, consider a couple of appetizers or sides because there is a chance you might otherwise be less than satiated. BTW, pasta was a small portion too seemed like about a cup of food maybe one and a half. I was told the cannolis were delicious a perfect crisp shell and homemade cream! I am coming back. No doubt. The food was sooo good and the atmosphere and service amazing. As noted, I might get a salad course *and*appetizer course as well as a side *in addition to* the one that comes with the meal."

"What happened to the great wine list?? An Italian restaurant that has bottles of Italian wine?? They were sold out of three. It's been about years and the old location that I visited last, but needless to say it has gone downhill. Service was great, appetizers were good, but the seafood fettuccine was truly lacking, as were the butternut squash raviolis and the pork tenderloin. I should've just ordered the bolognese. Bummer"

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"eating was ok and the service was not great at all. I brought my mother here to the Mother's Day dinner and our waitress, kamryn or karmyn was terrible rude. it seems like I was asking for another weinglas because my dirty was. she was very short in her answer and showed no general courtesy how to ask if I was done with my teller. she literally went from behind and took it. there was no attempt to find a solution when our brot was also tasted like grill gas. only one “it is cooked just as if I get another”. we were only checked once at dinner and after I paid the bill, she took that and went away. we didn't get thanks for coming, the hope that they enjoyed it, a great day, nothing. bad experience for Mother's Day."

"I worked at The Rainbow Room back in 1988. Back then it was owned by David Rockefeller. He poured millions into revitalizing the complex. It was absolutely the most glamorous space in NYC. When you got off the elevator the first thing you was was The Empire State Building and the Twin Towers beyond. It was breathtaking. There were Pages to greet you. There was a 30 piece band and a singer in the dining room to sing the classics like Cole Porter, Gershwin, and Glenn Miller. The dance floor rotated. There were cigarette girls with pillbox hats, tight jackets with peplums and skirts with crinoline. The main bar spanned nearly one side of the floor. There was a piano lounge with a singer. David Rockefeller spared no expense. There was original artwork from Norman Bell Gedes, photos from Steichen, historic photos of 30 Rock back when the building was being built, and of architectural details of the building. In one of the private dinning rooms there was an entire wall of original Bakelite radios from the 1930's. I don't know when it closed, but the Cipriani Group are the new owners, and they have not done justice to the history and physical space. It is now a sad shell with a drab institutional look. So sad."

"This was our second visit, and both times were fantastic. My daughter’s boyfriend ordered the chicken Parmesan with olive vodka sauce, but it arrived with regular marinara. He didn’t mind, but the waiter went the extra mile and brought him an additional plate with the vodka sauce, offering to let us take the marinara home. The drinks were excellent, and the desserts were delicious as well. I can only say good things about this place!"

"everyone in our party has been eating. it was delicious and well presented. we ordered from the menu of the month of the meal and were pleased with the number of choices. the parts were also generous. (too often on menus of the dining month, the restaurant does not give a choice and serves very small portions. the service was attentive after a slightly slow start, although the restaurant was busy. my only “constructive” comment is that the states are really too small for a party of six. we had two former basketball players with us and it was, we will say, cozy. overall this was an excellent culinary experience and I look forward to returning to cibo."

"Pretty bad chicken kabobs. Low quality, wet dog chicken and a mismatched marinade that was labeled adobo and rosemary, but it tasted like mint and chamomile. Bad flavor profile and low quality meat. Bad enough how much they charge for certain meats, itshould be higher quality for sure. Edit: I keep seeing them apologize to people complaining about the quality of their chicken, saying it's an unusual experience. Hey, Livotis, if you have this many people complaining about your dog food chicken, it's notan exception, it's the rule. Updating to include the lamb. it seems all of their meat is up charged and under quality . Ihighly recommend against purchasing here."

"I've been coming here for two years and noticed that the service has been incredibly down. Even if the dining room was almost empty, the waitress took more than 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drinks and food orders, and then came back twice afterwards."

"We have been here many times and love their food. The service was a little lacking this time, probably due to the employee shortage. I also noted that their deli store was short stocked on a lot of the usual things. I hope that is not an indication that they are closing it"

"We enjoyed the pizza meatball, Buffalo chicken meatballs and traditional. We each got 3 meatballs with a choice of sauce. Our tween loved his meatballs and spaghetti. The bread was nice and crunchy. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly done. The atmosphere was quaint. The place isn’t large but it was warm and inviting. The negative was the family size sides were not what we would consider family size."

"The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti. How do you mess up something simple like salsa? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!"

"The food is good, but not amazing, nothing creative has been saddened for a few years now. The ambience is worth coming back. The value is fair. However, the service was bad; very inattentive waiting staff. As someone who can't drink at the moment, I usually command soda for which they calculate, and that's good with me how I understand the dynamics of profitability in food service, although it is not filled, and on more than one occasion my glass was empty and the waitress was on her phone behind the bar. The last time we sat at the bar, the bar staff was sincere. Of course we are back, but we also wish that they would choose a better training for their service employees."

"As you walk down the road to Fireflour, the intoxicating aroma immediately catches your attention. Despite its small size, don't be fooled - this restaurant is a hidden gem. Upon opening the door, the delicious scent envelops you in a pizza paradise. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, engaging in pleasant conversations. The olives were a standout dish, perhaps the best we have ever tasted. Although they still contain pits, the flavor is unmatched. The thin crust pizzas strike the perfect balance of chewy, soft, and crunchy. Each bite is a explosion of tangy, savory, robust, and tantalizing flavors. We had both a white pizza and a red pizza, both of which were phenomenal. Despite the long drive to Bismarck, Fireflour is worth it for the top-notch pizzas. We give it a perfect 10 out of 10 recommendation."
