"As you walk down the road to Fireflour, the intoxicating aroma immediately catches your attention. Despite its small size, don't be fooled - this restaurant is a hidden gem. Upon opening the door, the delicious scent envelops you in a pizza paradise. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, engaging in pleasant conversations. The olives were a standout dish, perhaps the best we have ever tasted. Although they still contain pits, the flavor is unmatched. The thin crust pizzas strike the perfect balance of chewy, soft, and crunchy. Each bite is a explosion of tangy, savory, robust, and tantalizing flavors. We had both a white pizza and a red pizza, both of which were phenomenal. Despite the long drive to Bismarck, Fireflour is worth it for the top-notch pizzas. We give it a perfect 10 out of 10 recommendation."

"Ate here for the very first time and we all really enjoyed the whole experience. Great wine, great food and lovely ambiance. The truffle appetizer was delicious and the lasagna was outstanding. But, the real highlight was the owner Angelo. He gave us such a warm welcoming greeting, checked in on us and just seems like a very sincere, authentic Italian man. His son cooks I’m the back and his grandson was helping out front. It’s a beautiful family-run restaurant and you see why it’s been around for so long. Our server Michele was wonderful too. We will be heading back this weekend!"

"This place used to be awesome. During the pandemic, they raised the prices. $50 for a board with two meats and two cheeses. It?s kind of insulting. But I?m not here to complain about the prices. I actually came here to complain about the staff. They are absolutely miserable, never smile, stare blankly when I ask simple questions, and are just generally unfriendly and unhelpful. It?s like they are mad about having to work. I?m sure other people would be happy to do this job. I don?t get it. They make more per hour than I did when I had these kinda of jobs. Back then we were lucky to make $8 an hour to do more work. None of the staff has a basic grasp on English either. Diversity is fine, but being able to communicate with English speaking customers seems like a basic qualification. Maybe the owner of this cheese course has too much business and doesn?t need to retain customers. I?m not sure, but I am sure I won?t be back until they can get back to a basic standard of service."

"This was my first visit. Allof the baked goods looked really good, it was hard to choose what I wanted because they all looked great. I had a slice of pineapple coconut loaf cake and an iced chai and I enjoyed both of those. This place is really cute and the cashier who helped me was very friendly and helpful. That's where the praises end for me. If I ever came back it would just be for a coffee or a small baked good. I was VERY unimpressed by the lunch items we had. I had a turkey sandwich and while I liked the turkey, I hated the baguette. I think my teeth are just too sensitive for it and I think it was a little too toasted because it was very hard to bite into. I ended up eating around it. My daughter didn't care for her salad at all and she usually loves salad. Altogether my sandwich, her salad, an iced Chai, fountain drink, and loaf slice cost $40. For what I paid for thr sandwich and salad, I'll just go somewhere else when I want lunch. The cake and iced Chai were good. The food, not so much."

"You know you are in a good, authentic place when the food literally transports you to your grandmother's house when you were a child. The black bean soup had this fantastic combination of ingredients that I have not found anywhere but in my grandma's kitchen. That soup, by itself, was worth the trip. The sword fish appetizer was very good and the pisco sour was fantastic (I know, pisco sour is not Mexican, but in any case, it was very refreshing and perfectly mixed). Price wise, well you are in NYC ... 'nough said."

"We just moved here and so glad we finally came in for brunch. The place was so beautiful, the wine was great, and our waiter Alexis was wonderful!! She made our dining experience feel relaxing and happy. She wasn’t pushy but she also made sure to bereally attentive. It was a great first experience."

"Great place for dinner. I had the BBQ lamb ribs and they were quite tender and tasty. My wife doesn't (normally) like lamb, but the harissa sauce won her over. I had the Gnudi as a main and the pasta was incredibly light and airy. My only complaint (minor) is the beer selection. It is varied, but it has only 3 IPAs while having 10 sours/saisons. I think the person in charge of the beer menu needs to tone back their love of sours and get over their fear of hops. We have been"

"My god! I am in 7th heaven Finally a real and true quality Italian restaurant. I spent my first 18 years growing up in Europe so I have a pretty high bar and after years of trying the so called top restaurants in Los Angeles (for 6 years) and SF I just gave up eating at Italian restaurants (with the exception of Il Cortile in Paso) and made my favorite pasta dishes at home. What a fool I have been! Went to Poggio on a Saturday date night with my favorite Foodie and was blown away! All the right stuff that you find in my fave places in Tuscany or Sicily! Opened with a fantastic classic Negroni already the bustling dark large dining room was changing into a Fellini movie and a top waiter Bart advised expertly one menu items: Started with Vitello thin sliced veal, tonnato sauce, fried capers, frisee, radish, meyer lemon omg with the flatbread multo bene! The the shared primo piatti: PAPPARDELLE (home made) braised pork ragu, taggiasca olives, cavolo nero, parmigiano reggiano omg again! The pasta was the best, the ragout deep and flavorful. I had picked a Montepulciano red for the heavy meat dishes, but the expert waiter recommended a Valpolicella that just nailed it! Secondi piatti: BRASATO, red wine braised lamb shank, potato puree, roasted eggplant peppers, basil omg for the 3rd time! Osso Buco like falling off the bone. By now my beautiful date and I were floating in the dolce vita of heavenly food and I decided to come here every week and eat my way through the menu ! Desert was a perfectly executed Creme brûlée with fresh berries and hallelujah! Finally an Italian place that had great grappa as a digestivo! Food 6 stars Service by Bart 6 stars Ambience 5 stars on a busy Sat. Mangia da Poggio that 's amoré"

"I’ll be back! Wonderful lunch! Went with a coworker and had such an awesome experience! We shared a Caesar salad and the dressing was great! I had linguine vongole which is one of my faves so I’m incredibly picky and it was delicious! Clams were perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful and perfectly balanced. My friend had the gnocchi with black truffles that he enjoyed. The server was attentive and charming. The place is adorable exposed brick and wood."

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"This café is truly an embarrassment for New York City and the entire country. It's one of the most unappealing cafes I've ever visited. Even the smallest museums around the world manage to enhance their cafes with some attractive tiles or decor, instead of the basic, low-quality finishes found here. The MET should showcase art in every aspect, not just within the frames on the walls. From the mismatched signage to the subway tiles, the random black strip, and the gaudy white paint with poor lighting, this café stands out as one of the least aesthetically pleasing in the world, especially given the prestigious location and the significant funding it receives."
"For being in the suburbs, away from Waltham proper, and within walking distance to several hotels, you could do a lot worse. It's a clean, warm and modern Italian restaurant that has its flaws, but I'd give it at least a try if you're tired and not willing to risk hotel food. The green salad with blue cheese had a tad too much dressing and the cheese needed to be crumbled more but the lettuce was fresh(ish and the dressing had some nice tang. The clam pasta was passable if you overlooked undercooked pasta (I'm all for al dente it shouldn't be this hard and lumps of garlic (not even golden brown or thinly sliced sigh . The sauce was buttery and spicy which was at least the saving grace (or I was just hungry . The service was friendly enough and the beer had some killer selections on draft. They have the bones to be a much better restaurant, but I've eaten here enough (don't judge! to know that's unlikely anytime soon."

"I don't think I would bother to reserve a table at the theatre restaurant before a movie again after the experience I had here. Watching one staff member freak out at other staff members and having our drinks take forever was not worth what we paid. Just an uncomfortable experience where everyone seemed unhappy to be doing their job. We also had to ask for our popcorn and drinks in our theatre seats because the movie had already started and no one had delivered anything to us. Overal the VIP theatre experience is a unique treat, but I recommend going to a different restaurant and buying your own snacks prior to going into the theatre. They should stick to just showing movies because they don't know how to provide proper customer service to people when it comes to the foodservice industry."

"Any time that I go to a restaurant local enough to meet the owner I feel like I've made a great choice. I had the stuffed pork chop special which was fantastic! What was really impressive to me was how hard the staff was working. Wait staff and support were running at times. We had a view of the kitchen and the chef and cooks had just as much hustle. The restaurant was packed with what I heard was a 2 hour wait at 630pm on a Tuesday so be sure to make a reservation."

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day..."

"I love this place! The people, the service and the food. This is definitely a hot spot on Staten Island for bagels/sandwiches, etc. each time I come back to Staten Island and come here, there’s a line but well worth the wait. Kate, at the register, is a light especially during COVID. So sweet, and treats people with kindness. When I stopped here during the pandemic, a homeless man came in and she was so sweet him to and offered him coffee. It was cold out and seeing things like this restores fai … – show"
