"Has a nice feel and owner is kind, but prices are too steep for the quality. I got onion rings that were broken to pieces and probably only 5 or 6 and the amount was $6.95.For 3 eggs, 6 pieces of bacon a kids meal of chicken nuggets and small fry and small order of onion rings the total was $27. Too much and most items I can see like condiments are generic brands, so I don’t see that it was the quality is right for the price."

"As my search for the famed BPT (breaded pork tenderloin sandwich) continued, I was informed of Victoria's Country Diner in Lacon IL. I looked it up and was well within my travel radius so I had to make a trip. The drive was nice and quiet with it being a 50/50 split between country roads and highway. "The steaks were a bit dry and overcooked. And we felt charged for more sides than we thought we ordered. A drink that we said “no thank you” on a refill was Delivered and we were charged for it. Overall not a great evening. A sidenote that we’ve been here before and had a good experience though"

"This is one of the best diners still in operation! The prices are fantastic, and the portions are quite generous. Their homemade soup and salad bar are of excellent quality and always fresh! The only diners that come close in terms of quality are in South Jersey. However, you won't find any restaurants within 50 miles of Andy's Diner that can match it!"

"This place is off the beaten path but in the heart Keokuk, iowa. The hosts at the front door were very hospitable. Our waitress her name was Vicki and she was able to tell us the specials for the day and gave us all the details necessary to get a good meal serve to us. If you order a sandwich that you can also for an upcharge get the all you can eat soup and salad bar. The salad bar is plentiful. They have beats and lettuce and spinach and broccoli and onions and tomatoes and potato salad and pimento cheese with crackers and various different dressings so if you want to sell this is the place to go. The prices are moderate but reasonable. They also have kids meals for the children."

"This place is fantastic! I’m not familiar with the area, but I was looking for dinner and found this spot based on its good reviews—here’s another one to add! I had a group of 12 on short notice and we ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were quite tasty. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The dining area was clean and spacious, making for a pleasant atmosphere. The margaritas were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, it was a lovely experience!"

"After reading all the negative reviews, I found myself questioning their validity. However, I also checked out the positive feedback, which mainly highlighted the kindness and attentiveness of the staff—a rarity these days. I decided to try the ribeye steak and requested it medium rare. To my delight, it was cooked to perfection, which is also a pleasant surprise nowadays. The salad and soup bar was an added bonus. It reminded me of the Wisconsin-Klub, a place I truly love. I just wish it were closer to my home in Chicago. Give it a try!"
