"**UPDATED REVIEW - 6/21/2024** After a disappointing initial visit, Angry Owl completely redeemed itself during our most recent dining experience on June 21, 2024, around 6:20 PM. The transformation was astounding, largely thanks to our exceptional server, Victor Munoz. Although he mentioned he was still learning, his service was truly the best we have ever had. His attentiveness, professionalism, and sincere friendliness made our evening thoroughly enjoyable. From the moment we were seated, Victor ensured we were well taken care of. He promptly refilled our drinks and took our orders without any delays. His positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service was evident throughout the meal. Victor's attention to detail—ranging from menu suggestions to regularly checking in on us—showed a level of care and dedication that is quite rare. He is truly a star in the making, and his efforts did not go unnoticed. Additionally, it was impressive to see one of the cooks come out to check that the food was to our liking. This attention to detail was a refreshing change, showcasing a standard of customer care that significantly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, we are blown away by the turnaround in service. Thanks to Victor's exceptional assistance and the proactive approach of the staff, our perception of Angry Owl has completely changed. It is clear that management has listened to feedback and made significant improvements. We are thrilled to have given Angry Owl another chance and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! --- **INITIAL VISIT** My initial visit to Angry Owl was marked by incredibly poor service, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied. Here’s why I cannot recommend this establishment and will not be returning: **Unwelcoming Atmosphere:** The ambiance was lackluster, and the staff seemed more engaged in their own conversations than in attending to customers. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. **Slow Service:** Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy in the bar/table section, it took an unusually long time for our orders to be taken. Our bartender took our orders since Gilbert, our assigned server, did not come to our table until midway through our meal. **Inattentive Staff:** Once Gilbert took over, it was challenging to get his attention as he was often out of sight and did not check on us. Our requests for assistance were forgotten entirely, forcing us to flag down another staff member who was delivering food. **Poor Management:** There was a noticeable absence of management oversight, suggesting a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. **Bartender Serving as Server:** The only staff member who showed a positive attitude was the bartender, who informed us that Gilbert was our server. However, Gilbert’s delayed appearance marked the beginning of our dissatisfaction. Although I didn’t catch her name, the bartender did take our drink and appetizer orders and brought them to us, stepping in effectively during a moment of need. Ultimately, my experience at Angry Owl was extremely disappointing due to the abysmal service that followed. While the bartender and hostess were a bright spot, I cannot say the same for the rest of the staff that day. I would advise others to avoid this establishment until significant improvements are made in the quality of service provided."
