"I've been to this restaurant a few other times, but this it was a less than desirable experience. The service was horrible, our food was not hot, they only had one option for salsa and it had a sweet flavor (ummm, no, salsa is supposed to taste good and be somewhat hot), and the music was way too loud!!! I like to be able to hear the person next to me and not feel like I need to talk louder just so they can hear me. I could barely here our server. We won't be going back anytime soon."

Food was very good! The service was lacking, probably because I didn’t order alcohol beverages so the waitress was only paying attention to my husband’s drink refill not mine.

Waitress was awesome and attentive. Food was ok….got a steak burrito and a southwest Greek salad. Chicken and dressing were a little spicier than I hoped for but overall was still good

I visited for the first time today and ordered the chimichanga, a Corona, and a Mango Tango. The chimichanga was quite good, though I felt it was a bit on the salty side. I really enjoyed the Mango Tango, though. I'm definitely planning to try some other dishes in the future. View menu

I enjoyed the $10 lunch special with carnitas tacos, which were absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Plus, the lunch crowd was manageable, so it made for a pleasant experience. They also have a spacious patio that I look forward to trying when the weather is nicer.

The outdoor dining area is really nice, especially in late October. The food was absolutely nothing to get excited about, I had a steak burrito which was not very good. The rest of my party were not impressed by their food either. I would recommend this place for beers and appetizers, but go elsewhere if you want a nice meal.

We had a party of seven. Expected a restaurant but the entire place is s a bar with televisions blaring so loud it was impossible to have a conversation. We walked out after the server said it was open seating and we could sit anywhere. They did not even put tables together for our large group. We walked out and ate elsewhere. View menu

The food here is really enjoyable. Everything is flavorful, and the portion sizes are generous. It would be nice to have a few extra tortillas for the fajitas, given the amount of food served. The staff are very friendly, though they can be a bit relaxed at times; however, my last visit was during a quieter period. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely—if you sit in the right place, you might even forget you're in the city.

The service was terrible. None of the bartenders could remember our drinks nor did they tell us that the inside bar was closed and we had to receive service outside. Just the lack of acknowledgment of us sitting inside and not communicating the turn of service, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. From a millennial in the hospitality industry, please teach your gen z workers common courtesy customer service. You actually might make decent money if you pay attention off your phones!

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
