"I had eaten Soup Sausage food during the pandemic about delivery, but that was my first personal visit. It's a small place and not fancy, but don't let you fool. Your menu is filled with Eastern European dishes, freshly prepared when you order. My husband enjoyed the sausage potato pancake combination. My friend tried a stuffed sandwich to shave her. And my other friend ordered me the chicken carving that came with one side. She ordered the potatoes and I went with her braided sauerkraut. The chicken was really seasoned... and the sauerkraut was AMAZING!!! We ordered a slice of Ukrainian cake on their menu. I was told it was from a bakery in Ukraine. It was very different from our American type of damp cake, with a much more dry texture. We were glad to support a Ukrainian bakery that tried to survive during the current war. You will not be disappointed at your meal at Soup Sausage Bistro. I hope you have the pleasure of being welcomed by Fatima. She took our job and served our food. A beautiful young lady."

"Now, about the food – it was absolutely amazing! I loved the wings (peek gai tod) and the dumplings (kanom jeeb). I ordered the panang curry, and it was truly life-changing; definitely the best curry I've ever had. My boyfriend enjoyed his pad Thai as well. I also had a drink that was cute but quite strong. He really liked the bread pudding dessert, although I wasn't a fan. As for the service, it was exceptional. Everyone was super friendly and offered great dish recommendations, creating a very authentic experience. The atmosphere was delightful, with perfect lighting and chill hop music setting the mood. The themed decor added to the overall vibe. One thing to note is the parking situation; the lot is quite small, and there are signs at nearby businesses indicating you shouldn't park there unless you're a customer. However, street parking is available just a block away."

"Hands down, the best Italian sub west of the Mississippi! Try "The Tony," and don't forget to add banana peppers and get it toasted—it's unbelievably delicious! Frank’s has been around since the 80s, and it’s clear why they’ve survived all these years. They get your orders right 99% of the time, whether you walk in or order via DoorDash. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are amazing, and the staff is always super friendly! I’d gladly endure a swift kick to the boys every day if it meant I could eat nothing but "The Tony" for the rest of my life without packing on the pounds! Unfortunately, I’ll have to settle for once a week and work out like crazy just to enjoy that delightful sandwich!"

"What can I say, I can say I have my own personal donut shop that I can recommend highly! This family run business makes me hate and love going on there because I have my favorites yet I want to try so many things and I never do because they do my favorites so well! Everyone is always in a great mood and forever smiling with greetings for everyone coming in and leaving. The family and their employees have a genuine mindset of a joyful experience every time for every customer. I don 't know why this shop is the best in Phoenix every year. They 're open early and fairly late and regardless of the time of day the donuts are fresh. If you haven 't tried this shop, I think you 're missing a true Phoenix gem and thank God it 's on the south side of Phoenix!"

"Great Sandwiches. ? all in one plaza.I need a haircut and swung by swavey's barber shop. While waiting I grabbed coffee from next door calked Lifeboat coffee and then I remembered my tags were due and I saw the third party MVD right next door so I ran over there and updated my registration once I finished my haircut, I went over to the smoke shop and picked up some drinks and some necessities and figured I can just grab a sandwich to go or later since I love Tony's Italian special.I completed and crossed off a bunch of stuff off my to do list and I did it all in that Plaza. I highly recommend."

"I visited this five-year-old restaurant for lunch, being the first customer of the day. I ordered chips, salsa, guacamole, and chicken enchiladas. The chips are remarkably thin yet sturdy enough for dipping in the guacamole, which is incredibly fresh and contains large chunks of avocado. The salsa is also fresh—not too spicy or mild, just the right amount for my taste today. The chicken enchiladas were exceptional; the only tweak I would suggest is to add some of the fresh guacamole that came with my meal. While I was there, I overheard other customers mentioning that they had such a great dinner the night before that they returned for lunch today, and that they always make it a point to stop by whenever they’re in town. The service was attentive, with staff regularly checking in to see if I needed anything else. Overall, a delightful experience!"

"The first time we visited the undertow it was at their other location in Gilbert. We had such an amazing experience there so when we came back to Arizona we wanted to check this place out. This location is definitely bigger because it's attached to their two other interactive bars. Reservations are a must since it's super popular. Sadly though we were disappointed with the undertow at this location. Firstly, the bar was blasting rock music which didn't fit the pirate theme. At the Gilbert location they actually played sound effects which made you actually feel like you were at sea! The bartenders were also not as interactive as the ones at the other location. We prefer sitting at the bar and getting to know our bartenders, but when we came here, our bartenders took our drink order then would disappear. Not much customer service or effort to make rapport. The menu here was also super small! At the Gilbert location you get an actual book full of different unique cocktails. At this location we got a laminated page. I felt bad for my boyfriend because he had such an amazing experience the first time he came to the undertow in Gilbert. He was looking forward to experiencing that a second time but instead he was let down. I felt bad watching him sit at the bar here!"

"I am not really into trying new things nowadays with all the weird spins people have to put on classic food items.I wanted to not like this place but damn was it good. I picked up a slice for my daughter since she’s not too picky about her cheesecake and figured she’d be okay with it. I tried a small piece because I thought I would at least taste to see if I was feeding my child something edible and I was absolutely blown away. The cheesecake is so fluffy and so incredibly fresh tasting. Cheesecake Factory has been feeding the public garbage compared to this place. The selection isn’t something to rave about but the slices they offer are.I would 10/10 recommended to anyone who likes desserts."

"My experience at Balkan Bakery in Phoenix was absolutely delicious. The small space has a few tables inside and three tables outside, located in a strip mall where it could be easily overlooked. Once you find it, though, you're in for a treat. The Cappuccino was particularly impressive for those who enjoy a strong cup of coffee. Even my coffee expert partner was highly impressed. The burek, available in a variety of flavors including beef, cheese, or spinach, was a hit with our group of four. Watching the preparation process was fascinating, with the thin dough being filled, rolled, brushed with butter, and baked to perfection. The bread was also enjoyable, and the unique take on baklava was well-received by everyone. I highly recommend trying something new at Balkan Bakery - it's a wow-worthy experience."

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"

"Pizza was pretty good. Not the best fire oven pizza but oh well. My beer was great (Breakside) although the ciders were no bueno…one tasted like the smell of an 80’s salon when a women gets a perm and the other was like a new home brewer. Probably sounds like I’m a little picky but really I am not.The waitress made a comment that they don’t usually allow people to change tables but they would allow us to do it this time because the guy inside the outdoor trailer was burning some trash in the pizza oven causing a bunch of nasty smelling black smoke and of course is was headed our way. That waitress really pissed me off. Four other tables were full in the entire place and that was all. For the enjoyment of the CUSTOMER we should be able to sit wherever the hell you put a table.Probably about what you would expect from a southern Oregon establishment. And yes..I am from here."

"After you get in many fine restaurants over the years, you quickly identify with a facility that only gets a few things right and you tend to visit them Well, the Wrigley nailed it on several fronts it wasn't the idyllic sunset, the smell of orange blossoms looking at the city center it was the staff, the attention to detail the real interest in your needs, the custom cocktails the passion that comes the staff for their guests BAM! I'm sorry Christopher had to use an Emryll anecdote, everything was perfect the portions, the flavors, nothing tried too hard all the compliments every taste I really abandon shocked that this little hiding place that someone can go is not just an event place to be a dining room experience for you and your partner, if only she had rooms I stayed for long weekends."

"Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel."

"The restaurant was quite empty when we visited, and the ambiance was pleasant. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu offered some creative options, but our experience took a turn for the worse when it came to service. Our cocktails took a lengthy 15-20 minutes to arrive. When our cheeseburger was served, it surprisingly didn’t have any cheese on it. Additionally, the wedge salad we ordered with salmon came without the salmon. Although we weren’t charged for the salad and received a complimentary dessert as compensation, we cannot recommend this restaurant considering there are many better options available."

"We stopped here for lunch. This restaurant is attached to a hotel and is on the 2nd level, accessible from the street via an elevator. The decor is sleek and modern with some interesting touches. The feeling is upscale. Our food and drinks were good and we had a nice view out the window of downtown. A good place if you’re looking for a nice place for lunch. This place was amazing. Colleen was an exceptional waitress. Our water cups were never empty, she was constantly checking in and the food...OMG...the food was SO SO good. No joke. Worth every second and penny!!!"

"The salsa at this restaurant is amazing! The service is great and the atmosphere is fun. However, they could use better chefs who have more than one cooking style and know how to not overcook the meat. All of the dishes taste very similar, with burnt marks on the meat and similar spices. It feels like everything is well done to finish cooking, like a fajitas. This is the second time I've experienced this issue here and I may not return for the next invitation. Maybe just have a drink because the ambiance is enjoyable. They just need better chefs."

"the henry is a favorite of me and I have eaten here at numerous places. unfortunately my last two culinary experiences left something to wish. my first unfortunate experience was a birthday breakfast. my escape never arrived, although my dining room partner relatiw quickly came out. we remembered the staff several times that my escape had not arrived and every time the staff went back and checked, but nothing came out. it came time to pay the bill as the meal of my companion was done, and the server asked if I ever got my meal. when I said I didn't say he was going to wrap it up and go. I explained that I didn't want to go because I wasn't interested in eier and had already spent 45 minutes waiting. the bill came and they accused me for the meal that never came when I asked him to remove this food, he appeared instead to go with the eggs. he also explained that he could not take it out of the bill because it was impossible to find the original order. he advised me that my dinner companion, who paid the restaurant later on the day that the manager would have time to look for the order as tasty bites for my birthday phone, and then calculate the credit card of my friend. when she called, the manager had no idea what she was talking about and none of it came from. this was certainly not the level of the service that we expected from an otherwise wonderful facility. fast forward to the last night, where we brought friends from the city to celebrate a birthday. the meals we ordered were extremely tasteful. but did not come a meal from the kitchen hot. the whole food was best lukewarm. we informed our server that was disappointed. he sent the manager and she apologized. we were composed together with another dessert our appetizer and birthday dessert. we explained both our server and the manager that the aromen were delicious, but were disappointed that eating was not served to its best. we expect better from the henry."

"Lunch was fantastic! The BLT was spot on, and I always request crispy bacon – they nailed it! The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the tomatoes were incredibly fresh. The sandwiches were just the right size, so I could comfortably take a bite, yet the portions were generous. The service was quick, and our waitress Liz was not only friendly but also very attentive and personable. The restaurant was clean, and the retro decor added a nice touch. If you haven't tried the Blue Moon Cafe yet, you definitely should. Great food, reasonable prices, and excellent service!"
