"I have to be honest, the staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, I ordered something quite simple—ham, Swiss, bacon, and mayo in a wrap—but they got it wrong. When I opened it up, there was no mayo. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back to address the issue since I was already at the hospital visiting someone and didn't want to leave. It's really frustrating. Normally, I check my orders before I leave, but in this case, I didn't bother because it seemed so straightforward and I thought it wouldn’t be messed up. I’ve learned a valuable lesson: always check your order before you leave, even if it feels unnecessary."

"We have a really big Running/Walking Group and just finished a race. We were looking for a place that could handle a group our size, on a Saturday, with an outside seating area (we were pretty active in that race Shoal Creek has a great enclosed/outdoor seating area. We were able to use that without disturbing their regular Brunch guests. First the accommodations: 5 star The Managers (Valerie Trey) were very kind and helpful. We had been turned away from a few places because they didn't have an outdoor space and couldn't fit a group our size. Valerie Trey never even blinked. They said of course and just come by and we will take care of you, and they didn't disappoint. Wait Staff: 5 Star Micaiah Hannah B were there for us without being intrusive, professional and attentive, just all around wonderful. We will be back in August and hope we have them as out wait staff again. Food: We ordered from the Brunch menu (see pic) but they have the full menu as well. The food was perfectly prepared (my complements to the Chef). It was so delicious, everyone just kept saying how good it was. This will be a regular place for us now, we feel like they are part of our Group. Thank you Shoal Creek for a great Brunch!"

"We were able to make a reservation on a Saturday night just 45 minutes before arriving, which was not a good sign. The food was mediocre at best, and the service could have been improved (we were given our food and then left alone until we were almost finished). There are definitely better restaurants in Babylon Village (and nearby towns) where you can enjoy a delicious meal with better service. (On a side note, the interior decor is nice, but the ceiling needs to be redone as it reminded me of old white ceiling tiles typically found in basements)."

"I'm not sure what's happening with their brunch service, but they really need to improve. The place was barely busy—only one other table occupied while we were there—but it still took an incredibly long time for our food to arrive. The server/bartender was fantastic, but the kitchen seemed to be struggling. When our food finally came, it was disappointing and had some mistakes. It's strange because my only other experience there was at dinner, and that meal was delicious and served at a normal pace."

"If you're in the mood for a typical diner experience with friendly service, Sage Diner is the spot for you. I visited this morning at 7:30, and the place was eerily quiet; I was the first customer, even though they had opened 30 minutes prior. I took a seat at the counter and was warmly welcomed by a cheerful waitress. As I browsed the menu, I enjoyed a cup of coffee that was surprisingly good for diner standards. I ordered the full Sage Slam, which is reminiscent of Denny's breakfast, and it turned out to be quite tasty. The pancakes were satisfying, and while the eggs were meant to be over-easy, they came out closer to medium—definitely not ideal for someone in a button-down shirt. However, the bacon and sausage were cooked to perfection! Just a heads-up, they are undergoing construction, so it might look like they’re closed from the outside. Overall, I rated it 7/10 and would definitely go back."

"I noticed that prices for a pie increased during COVID, so I decided to revisit the restaurant. While prices seemed to have returned to normal, I was disappointed to find that the pie I ordered was only half the size it used to be, resembling a personal pizza. This change in portion size was a poor business decision in my opinion. Despite my attempt to support the restaurant, I will not be returning. Service was for take-out and the meal was for dinner."

"Everything about this place was not good except we were greeted at the door. That was nice. But even though we made a reservation we were told to find a table and the only tables were right by the door which kept blowing open. Then the service was bad took long time to take the order, get drinks (which were wrong 2 times) and then when the food came it was missing sides sauces and that took time to flag someone down. They have no business calling themselves anything but a sports bar. The food was just one step above fast food quality. And I was so disappointed to see Beyond Meat on the menu. As a vegetarian, I am no longer being able to get a burger. Vegetarians are not looking for something that mimics meat or taste juicy like a burger....we gave up meat. So I order what I thought was safe an egg skillet and it was just ok. Nothing special and kind of greasy. I will never go back and I guess they won 't really care as the placed was packed with screaming children and loud TVs."

"A little while ago I had the pleasure of dining at 3800 Ocean, located at the Marriott on Singer Island with some of my team at Echo Fine Properties. This stunning restaurant is situated right off the ocean, providing breathtaking views of the water from every table. The location, at 3800 N Ocean Drive, is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the modern decor. The open kitchen and bar area added to the lively atmosphere, and I couldn't wait to try the food. The menu features a variety of seafood and steak dishes, as well as a selection of unique cocktails and craft beers. I decided to go with the seafood platter, which was absolutely delicious. The lobster, shrimp, and scallops were all cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauces added a nice touch of flavor. I also tried the filet mignon, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked to my requested medium-rare. In addition to the outstanding food, the service at 3800 Ocean was top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, my experience was truly memorable and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience on Singer Island."

"First time to Hays City Store. Read reviews and was excited to try. Had reservations and was seated right away. Had asked for outside but got seated inside. No biggie. We started with the home run and it was pretty tasty. Green salsa was very good. Boyfriend wanted chicken fried chicken but they had run out. He got the hamburger steak and I got the grilled shrimp. Food was hot and came out fairly fast. We both agreed that food was decent but probably wouldn’t make the drive out just for the food. Margarita flight was really good! If we find out way in the area again we’ll probably just have drinks and appetizers."

"My friend and I went for breakfast today and arrived at 9:05. Unfortunately, we had to wait a full hour for our meals. When our food finally came, my friend's toast was burnt to a crisp, and I ended up breaking a tooth on a piece of overcooked bacon. They even started turning customers away because the food wait time was so lengthy! Having lived in this city my entire life, as has my friend, I've never encountered such poor service or food. We definitely won't be going back."

"First place I ate in Prosper and so far love the hospitality here! The servers were really awesome and thoughtful on taking your orders, very big building for a restaurant and has a lot to see, my wife has been going here since high school and she brought it up on our way to Frisco. The Texas Wagyu Burger was incredible and I would say decent price nothing to expensive here because you pay for the quality you want! I would take first date, family and even book a party here if you are looking for a place in Prosper make sure to check this place out!!"

"I have to say, if you're used to traditional Italian pizza, this place may surprise you. The crust is thick and airy, more like focaccia bread than your usual thin-crust pizza. "We got there at 6:00 pm for restaurant weeks' special menu. They seated us to the left when you walk in, in one of the booths right by the band. The band was not supposed to be playing till 8:00pm. They started playing heavy metal songs that were off Spotify or something like it. It was crazy loud so we asked the server to see about turning it down. This was not the band warming up, just super loud music playing that we were having to yell to talk which was horrible. Then at 7:20pm the band starts warming up. Again, super loud and they were also testing their mics which they didn't know what they were doing as they squealed at least 7-8 times before they got it figured out. That squealing was ear piercing right by the speakers. Needless to say, I will never go back there again. I do not recommend going there and sitting on the left side of that restaurant anytime close to when the band might show up or you will be sorry you did. My suggestion is to order to go."

"We dined at Jalapeno's Mexican Grill on our first night in town and enjoyed delicious food, fantastic drinks, and excellent service from our waiter, Spencer. It was shaping up to be a 4 or 5-star experience. However, when we returned the next night at 9:06 pm, we were turned away because they claimed to be closed, even though their hours posted on the door and on Google Maps stated they closed at 10 pm. One of our party members had even called 20 minutes earlier and was informed they would serve food until 9:45 pm. It's disappointing to encounter inconsistent hours like this; it reflects poorly on the business."

"Great food and great ambiance. The outdoor patio seating area was nice and roomy with great views of the golf course. Breaded chicken Lombardi and filet medallions were delicious. Great drinks, appetizers, and desserts as well. Flourless chocolate cake and brown butter cake were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. She overheard us talking about a birthday we were there for and when we ordered desserts, she brought us out the dessert the birthday person ordered on the house with a candle. Great place and great service!"
