"So I'm not from this side of the city, but we were just made with our photo shoot for our wedding and we were starving. So we stopped in this restaurant and we both had the tacos de birria which were amazing!!! We usually don't get to meet places they came out delicious, but we were both satisfied and happy we chose this place! Surely come for another visit "

"This charming little restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, beautifully decorated, with generous portions. However, the standout feature is undoubtedly the fantastic food. The menu includes a wide variety of breakfast options, as well as Mexican and American dishes. The salsa was some of the best I've had in a long time, and the horchata was perfectly made and served in a large glass. All of this comes at a great price. It was a wonderful dining experience, and I highly recommend it."

"The food was a major disappointment. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and it was drowning in oil and so overcooked I couldn 't cut through it. My fiance ordered a chicken pot pie and the vegetables and potatoes were still raw. I wouldn 't have bothered posting a review about this but the entire meal was over $80 for two entrees we could barely eat and a lackluster appetizer. Also when we first arrived we had to wait for the host to finish their conversation with another staff member before being greeted. I understand being busy but to completely ignore a guest and not at least say I 'll be right with you is a bit rude. Overall not a great experience and wish we had spent our time and money elsewhere."

"I really needed this! Having just moved to the area, I've been searching for a great spot for burgers and Philly sandwiches. I just tried the Blue Cheese burger, cooked medium, and it was so delicious that I wanted a second one after the very first bite! The menu is extensive, so I can’t comment on many items yet, but if the burger was this good, I can only imagine how fantastic the cheesesteaks must be. The place was clean and inviting, with typical pricing. There are several TVs and plenty of seating, along with good parking. I found the Google directions from Arlington Heights Road to be a bit confusing, but you can actually access it through a parking lot with a traffic light located just east on Golf Road. I will definitely be returning!"

"Upon arrival, I said I had a reservation. Was told they don't take reservations. We were still seated right away. One in our party ordered decaf coffee was told she had to go get it herself near the entrance at a self serve coffee bar. They used to have a full brunch buffet with a person making omelets as well as a carving station. Now, there were very few food choices and no mimosas or champagne could be ordered. No baked goods for dessert either. Food they did have was just fair. Won't go back."

"We have been loyal customers of Herencia (and Mi Chula) for a long time and have recommended your restaurant to many others. However, during our last two visits, we've encountered an issue that concerns us. Due to COVID-19 precautions—especially since our daughter has a two-year-old and is pregnant—we specifically inquired about dining on the terrace ahead of time. Each time, we were told the terrace was open, but upon our arrival, we discovered it was actually closed. This lack of consistency has made us lose confidence in being able to enjoy the terrace at one of our favorite restaurants, especially when we've expressed our preference beforehand. We kindly ask that you improve your communication. If the terrace is closed or likely to be closed, please inform us in advance."

"Sadly as locals attending an event on the strip we were excited to try Virgil’s. Unfortunately is was not good. Not only was the food brought to us cold but our server didn’t come check in. The brisket was not even warm and very rubbery. The trash ribs were cold as well but at least eatable. Ironically for a BBQ place the only thing arriving to the table hot and tasty was the veggie tacos our teen ordered. Our teen and I both order costly iced teas that were empty before food was delivered and no one came around for a refill. After reading some other reviews we realized this is an on going experience and customers blamed for not bringing it up to staff. This is terrible as our server was MIA for 20 minutes post food delivery. Bussing staff came and asked if we were finished and we said yes. Only at that point did our server come over and offered us our check if we were ready! I will pass this review to locals and visitors alike as it’s important to spend money at places wanting to do better and deliver excitable service. As a person in customer service for 25 years, the customer should never be to blame for poor performance."

"We visited late at night and really enjoyed our time chatting and eating. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive, far from the usual drowsiness you'd expect at that hour. The Stromboli we ordered was impressive in size and incredibly well-prepared."

"We have been attending Colorado Mountain Brewery since it opened on the Westside. Thrilled for their presence, especially knowing the deep history of the roundhouse, The Golden Cycle Mill, the westside. Generally has been ok to at times very good. Depending on the choice of course. The beer has always been good to at time very good. Three months ago we held a large 70th birthday shindig. Went well. Service excellent. Food good to really good. However, overall the last few times otherwise have been trending to mediocre and lower. Yesterday tho was a new low. Unfortunately our service, server, flat out missed it. Had to repeatedly ask for things. No silverware, this after food was served. We thought we'd wait for her to notice. Didn't. Placed wrong order of food but by this time we were just not wanting to keep pushing to get things right. Server just plain missed things. They weren't that busy. So... sigh. Food was faltering. Sure, prices keep crawling up. Expect that. But for a $45 tab, the Reuben was dismal. The fish and chips passed, but barely. We chose from the menu, mainly from past experience. But this time everything missed. Must express that CMB is presenting as many food service businesses that get tired. Or precisely a lack imagination. Not only the menu lacks imagination, and this is after having been to CMB since it opened and have watched it over the years, but the food prep is hit and miss. Hard to mess up a Reuben and during the previous birthday party was good. This time tho... a tired, lazy slide. Going deeper, FIX YOUR TABLES. Years of wobbly tables. Sugar packets and sundry other things wedged under legs. Still. C'mon CMB, lazy. And yes, the business has long hours. Still, the floors were filthy, at 3pm. That was jaw dropping. Not crowded, have enough pride to pick up a broom for a few seconds? So, is sad to see a westside business present as tired. Now dropped from our West Side list. Sad for us."

"WeHo spot serving healthy and hearty brunch options. Came here on a Saturday morning in a group of four and waited about 20 minutes for a table (we had no reservation but I would suggest making one). Indoor and outdoor seating. Credit cards accepted. I split the French toast and the desayuno fuerte with my boyfriend I especially liked the potato pancakes in the desayuno fuerte. The waitress was friendly and the overall vibes were chill. It’s a good local spot to have a meal and catch up."

"Only 1 waitress for a place full of customers. Fries were nasty and the so called Cuban sandwich was nothing at all like a true Cuban except for the dill pickles. The bun was not grilled on a press. The pumpkin pie was runny and needed some spice. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20"

"I have not been here for a long time, and so when I had to bring my sister to the airport, we decided to meet a friend for lunch here. It is like walking into an Italian restaurant in the 70's. Needs to be remodeled, but it's a local favorite. There are always people eating at the bar and the age group is 70+. Most have been coming here for years! The server I forgot her name was awesome. I ordered the Baked Scrod with seafood stuffing topped with lobster bisque and 2 Jr. Baked stuffed shrimp. Lunch portion $15.99. It comes with a choice of 2 sides potato and vegetable , a cup of soup, fresh Italian bread warm with butter. SO MUCH FOOD! I had a cup of the chicken escarole soup very good , baked potato with sour cream just ok , apple butternut squash delicious! . The Italian bread was fresh and warm really nice. The baked stuffed shrimp were a little over cooked but still good. I wish they had come with some melted butter as they were really dry. I did not like the fish with the scallop and shrimp stuffing with lobster bisque on top at all. The stuffing was wrapped in the fish filet, and while the out side was hot, the inside was barely warm. Scrod is a light flavored fish, but it seemed fishy to me. The lobster bisque on the top was good, but again, as a dish together, I did not like it. My sister had just the baked scrod with lobster bisque $12.99 and she enjoyed hers.. She had gotten a cup of white clam chowder, with rice pilaf and apple butternut squash as well. Our friend got the Baked Scrod $14.99 with a cup of escarole soup, French fries and apple butternut squash. As a local, she loves the chicken escarole soup and apple butternut squash and has been coming for years and years. Lots of food for very good prices. Of course I wil be back, but I won't be ordering that again."

"we had many problems with our order that influenced the Mother's Supper. one of our meals came 100% wrong. when they made it new, it was not completely boiled. all the others were done at this place. they finally offered to pay tribute to the bill. eat and service generally good, but not at point today. fries were soggy, steak over boiled, suppe and suppe salty."

"My experience at Jose Tequila's was decent. The service was just okay. When we entered, the hostess wasn’t very welcoming; she was busy folding kids' menus as we approached, and we had to wait for her to finish before I finally said hello. She sat us down with a bit of an attitude. However, our waiter came over quickly to take our drink orders, and our drinks arrived promptly. When it came time to order food, I chose the fajita salad and a chicken bowl. The food was average—nothing to rave about. I’m not sure if it was just an off day, but they could definitely improve. On my second visit, I went with friends and family, and the experience was notably better. The service was fast, we were checked on frequently, and our drinks were refilled without delay. Our waiter worked really hard; I can't remember his name, but I kept calling him Jose, and he responded to it! He was excellent. The food was fresh and fantastic, even though the restaurant was packed, the service was still top-notch. Hats off to the staff for the significant improvement!"

"Excellent authentic Mexican food. The art and decor was beautiful. Including what appeared to be hand painted pictures on the back of the chairs. I enjoyed my steak fajitas. The steak was well seasoned with plenty of meat , onions and peppers. Therefried beans and rice were yummy. My tomato mixture did have cilantro/parsley in it, I was told it didn't. (Unable to tell forsure which one, cut too small. I think the server just don't know. It wasn't a big deal, I generally don't eat the tomatoe mixanyway. My husband got the monster quesadilla. He thought it was very good. My mother in law's Aqua taco was very spicy. Thequeso was awesome cheesey goodness! We very much enjoyed ourselves."

"Service was terrible- waited two hours for food. If they couldn’t accommodate our reservation they should not have taken it. Drinks and food were also sub par. Pineapple margarita tasted nothing like a margarita. One burger was undercooked and so we asked for it to be cooked longer. A bite was already taken out and they just put it back on the grill and burned one side. Completely unsanitary and then also inedible. The staff seemed disorganized and overwhelmed. We’re not helpful or sympathetic to this situation. Neither was the manager(owner? when asked about the wait time. Also, no one was pre-bussing the table so there was empty drinks all over so no room when food came out. Also, no toilet paper in the bathrooms. This seems simple but I was waiting in line for the restroom and one of the workers came out of it and when I walked in there was none. Normal practice would have been like “hey sorry we are out of toilet paper in this stall, I’m going to go get some be back asap” I never leave bad reviews but I was truly baffled by the experience. Advice would be not come here with a large party on a busy/baseball night."

"We made reservations for 5:15 on NYE and asked to let them know that we are running a little late. They were so gracious and had no problems. Our table of 4 had a drink and a steak or bison duck. Everything was DELICIOUS! Each steak was perfectly cooked to try and the sides were also great. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. Our blessing was friendly and made a great job. It is a wonderful place for date night. Such a great experience!"
