"The Sylva location of Zaxby's is a joke. Don't go if you actually expect fast service. My fiance and I like to get salads from here for lunch every once in a while and it doesn't matter what time of day or how many people are in front of you, you are guaranteed to waste close to 30 minutes or more trying to get through the drive thru. Today I got there at 1:50pm and there were 2 cars in front of me in the line. One was sitting at the order menu and I heard the employee on the speaker ask them to wait a moment. After sitting there for 10 minutes, the car in front of me left. After 15 minutes, the car at the menu was finally able to order and I pulled up and was also asked to wait a moment. I sat there for another 10 minutes and finally gave up. That is the longest I have ever waited with such a short line and I only waited that long because the line was so short I did not imagine it would take that long. I also heard a lot of loud voices coming from the back of the store and thought it sounded like possible arguing or something and after waiting that long I decided the food probably wouldn't be worth eating anyway. No other fast food places take as long as Zaxby's does. I understand a lot of places are short handed and I try to be understanding and patient but that was just ridiculous today. It is pretty slow most of the time anyway but today was the worst I've ever seen and it wasn't even busy."

"However, the app offered both regular and seasoned fries, and I had specifically chosen regular fries. Yet, when my order was ready, they gave me seasoned fries instead, and the egg rolls were burnt. When I called to address the mix-up, I expected the staff to apologize and offer to replace them. Instead, the guy on the phone claimed it was my fault for not mentioning I wasn't hungry. I explained that my original order was placed based on what I saw on the app. He then insisted that they only sell seasoned fries, as if everyone automatically knows this policy. I wanted to tell him that I’m allergic to the seasoning and that it has previously sent me to the ER—something I’m not eager to experience again. He dismissed my concerns, saying it was common knowledge that they only serve seasoned fries and anyone should know this. I informed him that it was my first time ordering and that not everyone is familiar with their practices. He eventually offered to refund me for the egg rolls if I brought them back, despite not acknowledging that they were burnt. His excuse was that it was probably due to new cooking oil, and while he claimed they have four fryers, he insisted they all looked dark that day. I asked if he could replace the fries, but he blamed me for not specifying my preference, arguing that they can’t ask every customer if they want seasoned fries, suggesting I should have remembered my allergy. Essentially, he made it clear that they didn’t care if I ever returned as a customer. In fact, he straightforwardly said he didn’t want my business. So there you have it—I won’t be visiting any Zaxby’s again, no matter who is offering to pay. This was my first and last experience at one of their locations, and it fell far short of my expectations."

"This is absolutely the worst Zaxby?s ever . Every single time I come here there is a problem and trust me it?s not a staffing issue . I usually don?t do reviews but this is ridiculous and just laziness . Out of all the problems I?ve had this one reallyticked me off . I placed my order at 10:40 and arrived at 10:56 , tried to walk in to pick my order up , doors are locked , andI?ve gotten told many times that lobby is open until close to pick up mobile and door dash orders . I pulled around to thespeaker and it?s like 10:58 now I waited , no response . Pulled to the window 3 employees just looking at me counting theregister and taking it to the back , totally ignores me . Finally this one young guy comes and tells me they are closed I toldthem I had already placed the order paid I was just picking up a mobile but the lobby was closed . The goes and talks to theother staff somebody else comes to the window and tells me they threw my order in the trash!!!! I was annoyed because I knewthey had closed at 11 and I made sure I was there BY 11 . Never have I seen a restaurant throw a order away before closed!! Iasked for a refund and was told they can?t do that or cancel my order . I was just to leave empty handed and they took my money. I want a REFUND ! Train your staff better than this . Like I said this isn?t the first time . Staff is always goofing off andnot caring about tending to customers . I find it very hard to believe they threw the order away before close . I think they wasjust to lazy to even bother making it and that?s ridiculous considering there was a lease seven employees in there at the time .Retrain your staff teach them some real hospitality because they all lack from it. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!"
