"Tarpon Springs is an interesting place to visit. There 's an odd mix of tourists, locals, and out-of-towners that keeps the area feeling like a tourist trap, but still maintains a certain local charm. Being a settlement of the Greeks back in the day for sponge diving, there is certainly no shortage of Greek themed food establishments. Yeah, some famous named TV chef endorses this one restaurant, and some slightly famous food video blogger raves about another, blah blah. But there is a nice, slightly off the path gem called Costa 's right there in the center of town. First, the service. perfect every time. Nice, friendly, and prompt. Second, the prices are very reasonable. Third, the food is quite simply the best Greek/Mediterranean cuisine on the planet. Portions are more than sufficient to satisfy the largest appetites. Always start with the Saganaki (flaming cheese). We 've had so many wonderful dishes here. The Mousaka will blow your mind! The lamb shank can almost feed two. The Souvlaki (chicken or pork) is so juicy and tender and comes with a ton of garnishes. Their Greek salad is a work of art and comes with a dressing that nears a religious experience. Let 's talk Gyro meat for a second. There are so many variations and recipes for a good Gyro. But, Costa 's has the absolute best Gyro meat on the planet. The seasonings aren 't over bearing and the meat is always glistening with juices and so very tender. When in Tarpon Springs, get away from the dolphin cruise barkers and redundant tourist gift shops for a bit and sit your butt down at Costa 's for grub. You will NOT leave hungry, guaranteed. I would recommend doing a dolphin cruise, BEFORE eating though. There are no public facilities on Anclote Island and the accommodations on the dolphin cruises would be less than desirable for any such... needs ."

"Excellent! I went to Chatter's on the recommendation of old friends (The Greenleaf’s). The owner is a friend of them, Asef. Speech of mouth propaganda. I had the opportunity to check the menu on the line before I decided it would be a place I spent my next weekend. The menu looked delicious. I chose my Brunch selection for Saturday. We came to brunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon (possibly). The place was a very intimate original version of fine dining atmosphere; slightly formal looking. My friend and I were dressed very casually. One of the things I love most when I stroll into the unknown. If I find myself tragically informal in a formal place, I am always impressed by employees who treat me with respect even though I show up. I am very uninterested and irritated with Persnickety. Honestly, my money is not inappropriate. The food: When I arrived, I knew that I was torn up at the selection. I had seen the menu. And it was brunch. After reflection I ran with the reuben. My friend chose the BLT with Brie. I chose the Reuben for more than one reason. First, it's a good test. You can just screw them up. Second, I'm crazy about them. There are those who consider building an altar to them; and those who will spread out to you for food; full of a non-kissing clause to be in force until you use half a bottle of mouthwater. I am the rising altar; I will buy the big bottle of mouthwater at Walmart on my way home. My friend was not a kiss; and I will close my eyes while you eat this horror sandwich species. It was crazy fantastic; how was most of what I ate. Of particular interest to those who love spirits; My friend had an afternoon cocktail and reported it was one of the best **** Mary's she ever had. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere invites a variety of patrons. I had the opportunity to visit since then; and the food and service remained exemplary. I would highly recommend this culinary experience, no matter what you wear. I count it as one of my new favorite restaurants. So much that I introduced my friends to Chatters by having my birthday party there."

"Went for my birthday and got seated right away. We ordered drinks and guacamole and I ordered beef fajitas. They were good but needed lime juice or would have been to tasteless. The waiter was awesome and the man who brings drinks too. I liked the staff. But my friend ordered a tostada and it was covered in red enchilada sauce. She literally had to run to the bathroom due to the sauce. Tostadas should not use red sauce. It wasn't hot sauce but red enchilada sauce. Odd. I was pleased with my food and the cute little dessert they brought me for my birthday. Delicious flan. I was sad when I wanted to tip 15% and the electronic device had only 18% and two higher choices. Why don't they have 15% as a choice? Seems presumptuous and wring to assume I want to pay more when the bill was already over $50 for two plates and a small guacamole and two sodas? I pushed the custom tip button and paid 7$. I would have paid more had they not tried to force a customer to pay 18%. It's wrong. Reminded me if the Dodgers now wanting us to pay for a bag of peanuts using our credit cards on a handheld machine and also expecting 18% and up tips. Not me. I won't go to any more dodger games. Their hot dogs taste awful and getting tix and parking pass online was awful. Never could find the parking pass. Oh well I digress. Good food, great staff, but the tip forced down my throat not so good. And my poor friend was sick from the sauce."
