"We visit this bar every time we're in New York and truly enjoy the atmosphere. However, this visit will be our last. The food was decent; I had the cheeseburger and the pastrami sandwich (which, oddly, came without pickles), along with a couple of drinks each, and the total came to $92 (£72). My main concern, though, was the automatic 20% service charge added to the bill. I don't mind tipping for good service, but our waiter was only average at best, and at times, even quite rude and abrupt. There was no customer service with a smile. I suppose when the tip is already included in the bill, there's no incentive for him to be pleasant, right?"

This dive bar is located in the heart of SoHo, and as a native New Yorker, I truly value this spot. The food is excellent, and you absolutely must try their cider with brandy—it's fantastic! View menu

This place is fantastic! The bartenders were friendly and attentive, and both the food and drinks were excellent. The burger was just what I was craving. Our bartender provided us with wonderful recommendations, and given the amazing experience we had, I definitely plan to return.

This restaurant near Canal Street is fantastic, convenient, and reasonably priced. The burgers are served on pita bread, which is delicious! They have a large menu that's creatively illustrated on the walls. The waitstaff is polite, making it a great place to stop during your visits to SoHo.

I've been visiting Kenn's for 45 years, and it remains consistently excellent. When a place is good, it stays good, and Kenn's definitely fits that bill. While celebrities like Elton John and Andy Warhol may not frequent it as they once did, the atmosphere is still just as vibrant, and the food deserves an A+. View menu

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the music was incredible—it truly transported me back to the 1990s with nothing but great tunes. The Chili Dog was flavorful and created an explosion of taste in my mouth. The Corn was also excellent. The only downside was the parking situation, but I will definitely be returning!

I work just up the street on Greene and visit Broome St Bar frequently! It’s one of the few straightforward bars with a pub-like atmosphere within a short walk. There are times when I crave a more relaxed setting without the “trendy” vibe. My coworkers and I enjoy stopping by for a beer or cocktail after work. The owner is incredibly friendly, and her grandmother’s meatballs are absolutely fantastic! They’re only available on the menu seasonally, so make sure to try them when you can! We were truly impressed! It can be a bit pricey, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood—after all, it’s Soho!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
