"Crunchy's is one of the best, if not the best, bars in East Lansing. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. They have kareoke, trivia, and other events throughout the week as well as darts and pinball. They have plenty of vegetarian options and even a beyond burger for vegans. They have a great selection of beer and good prices.A few unique things about Crunchy's: you can literally leave your mark by writing on the walls. You can also buy a bucket of beer to share with at least three friends! Plus they are known for their potent Long Island's. Lastly, you can get a delicious Cajun seasoning on your tots and other foods!My only complaint about Crunchy's is that they are so great, they bring in a big crowd and can be very packed during sporting events and other special occasions."

"I?m going to Leave a Perfect 5 Star?s Review, Yesterday was my Actual First, But Not Last Time Visiting this absolutely Amazing Place Atmosphere!! "I found this bar around the corner from the hotel I was staying in on a Sunday afternoon whilst traveling on my own with work. Having done some walking in the warm sunshine sightseeing, I was in need of a decent dinner and a few drinks. The bar had some good music playing in the background with several large screens showing the basketball game. The staff were friendly and welcoming and anyone travelling on their own, like me, would also engage in conversation. I had the pub curry and the portion size was decent and flavoursome not overly spicy. But the crowning glory was the Guinness! Some of the best Guinness I have drank outside of Dublin, easily. So much so, I enjoyed several more than I initially intended. If I find myself back in Downtown Dallas, this place will be on the list of 'must go to ' and I invite you to do the same. Sláinte!"

"What a nice, easy place to have a meal, some iced tea, or a few drinks. Families, couples, friends, singles, everyone is welcome here. Menu is your basic sandwiches, burgers, and fried foods, but the reason to stop in is the service. Friendly, thoughtful, kind, attentive. We enjoy our time here. "I've been here many times in the past before the property changes. I read reviews where some people have been disappointed since the change. I have to say I found it as good as before. Our waitress was attentive and prompt. We share a Fisherman dish and it was fresh and cooked to perfection!! Delicious! We still had to go with a doggy bag and we're both good eaters. "Just no. We ordered crab legs and shrimp. We got the order of shrimp and the waitress said the kitchen didn’t see the order of crab legs. She then brings out the crab legs and said they forgot the corn and potatoes. We finally got all of our order but the “butter” was hot grease. The kitchen tried to play it off as butter that had been cooked too long. Any human can tell grease from butter by the taste and color. This was 100% grease. Our waitress took the grease to her manager to smell annd taste and told us she was going to have the manager discount our ticket. The manager came over and tried to tell us the same story about the butter being cooked too long. We asked him several times in his excuse making if he had tried the “grease butter” and he finally admitted that he did not try it. If he had, he would have tasted the grease. He asked if we lived nearby and we told him we did not, that we were visiting from 2.5 hours away for our anniversary and he offered us a gift card. What a joke. And the poor waitress told us when we went to pay that she asked him to discount our ticket and he told her no. To add fuel to the fire, we ordered drinks and the beer was warm. Bless the poor waitress that had to continue to apologize. Don’t waste your money. You’ve been warned."

"Dined in with family for dinner. This was recommended by several friends of the family. I want to start off by saying that the waitress who seemed about high school age was very nice and gave us great service. The atmosphere had the feel of a Texas dive bar. Several of us ordered the pulled pork sandwich and said that it had good flavor and cooked well. In my honest opinion it is some what difficult to ruin pulled pork. As for myself and my father in law ordered the brisket sandwich. I found it to be overcooked and dry. I was told to order the pulled pork, but I tend to judge a BBQ joint by how they prepare and serve their brisket sandwiches. I also found it to be odd that the restaurant didn't have a house made spicier BBQ sauce. In fact most BBQ places I've frequented have a plethora of options when it comes to sauce. As for sides I think some acidity would have been nice in the beans, they needed something else in it to make them tastier. Did not enjoy finding a bay leaf in my side of beans. It's a known culinary fact to never place food that isn't edible in a dish. The spoon bread was good, but it was a tad too sweet for my tastes. I may try this place again and I always want to support a local business. I hope maybe next time the brisket isn't over cooked and then I will edit my review. However, for quick service and fair prices this could be a nice lunch spot.Covid-19 Protocols: I only hope their staff is fully vaccinated as to the reason why they did not wear masks. Dine in is appropriately spaced and the restaurant appeared to be clean and well kept."

"Established cleanliness: Mediocre. Smelt heavily of bleach. It was overwhelming. (We sat by the bathrooms and kitchen entrance Atmosphere: Nice. No TVs going but good music. Beautiful art on the wall Bathroom cleanliness: Not to clean Dust buildup on the walls. Family-friendly: not really. No kids menus, no coloring pages. Family-friendly restrooms: no. One changing table outside both bathrooms Food: Things from the grill had a nice flavor. The red beans and gumbo were spicey and lacked flavor. The baked potato lacked flavor and ingredients. My ribeye was well done when received( was supposed to be med rare. Waited 15 mins to get another just to get it to go because of the wait. It was jot busy. The cheese curds were delicious. Nice hot and soft easy to chew. Very large portions. High chairs: yes and boosters Customer service: good. Parking: yes. Has decent parking Amenities: none. Military discount: no. Maybe it was just this one time it was bad. Did not have an amazing experience, but we will try and come back at a later time."

"I love this place. Their food is always good. But, I called one day and placed an order and I showed up at the time they said to. It was really busy so I waited patiently, I get to the counter and they said it would be a few more minutes. Not a problem... I see them behind the counter talking about my order being right there and ready. So I still waited for another 25 minutes and I never got called up for my order. It was extremely busy, which I understand, but it was disappointing that I had to leave with out my order"

"What's the Purpose of this place. Here's the scoop both good and bad. <br/ <br/ The place is dark and loud even without a bar crowd. I couldn't imagine being here with a bunch of drinkers. The service was horrendous. To top that off, I think the server is the owner or at least the co owner. She was fairly good at my table, but I watched her at other tables and didn't like what I saw. For example, some guys were complimenting the food and during mid comment she walked away to clear another table. I would have taken my tip and left with that sort of rudeness. You might be thinking she didn't have time to talk, but that couldn't have been further from reality. She just wasn't interested.<br/ <br/ As for the food, I had an Ethiopian dish. It was good no complaints on that end.<br/ <br/ In terms of the establishment, I think they are trying to do something for everyone: restaurant/tavern, Mediterranean/Ethiopian, place to eat/place to see bands; also, the place is as dark as night during mid day. <br/ <br/ Get a theme and stick with it and add some lights. <br/ <br/ The place isn't working."

"great local sporty! I wish it were closer to my house, so I could go more often. the restaurant was very clean, had a lot of sports/steam items and had many tvs! we have organized a small boarding party/common dinner here. the manager cindy was great to work with and helped us get a table / area to accommodate all. our server were so polite and attentive. eating all was very fresh and came out really quickly. I think our appetizers came 5 minutes or less after the order. after that the main thing did not come out too much longer. the menu was large and very affordable overall. there were so many things I wanted to try! they had a good happy hour special and also late night special. I ordered the Speck cheeseburger. you could say the meat bark was fresh, not frozen, and it was served on a Hawaiian bungalow. so good! the burger came with boiler chips, but they could update their side if they want. the boiler chips were perfectly cooked. some restaurants under or overcook them, but not this place. I also ordered the wisconsin cheese curds as an appetizer and they were delicious! they had a light spices/knives that made them even better. comes back in definitiw."
