"Crunchy's is one of the best, if not the best, bars in East Lansing. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. They have kareoke, trivia, and other events throughout the week as well as darts and pinball. They have plenty of vegetarian options and even a beyond burger for vegans. They have a great selection of beer and good prices.A few unique things about Crunchy's: you can literally leave your mark by writing on the walls. You can also buy a bucket of beer to share with at least three friends! Plus they are known for their potent Long Island's. Lastly, you can get a delicious Cajun seasoning on your tots and other foods!My only complaint about Crunchy's is that they are so great, they bring in a big crowd and can be very packed during sporting events and other special occasions."

One of my favorite places to stop and grab a bite to eat. I come here most Mondays to see Stand up comedy and is always a great time. Try the Tots or the Curds or both! View menu

We stopped in for lunch on our way home from Detroit, and we were very pleased with our experience. Our waitress was fantastic; she allowed us plenty of time to decide on our orders and made sure our drinks were always filled during our meal. The wings were delicious, and my fiancée really enjoyed her quesadilla.

I went to karaoke with friends and we had to wait about 35 minutes for a table. The BBQ pork sliders were excellent, but I was disappointed with the loaded tots as they needed some seasoning. As for the karaoke experience, I wouldn't return for that because the song selection was quite limited. However, I would definitely come back for the food.

We're not local and not in college, but were told by alum that this is a very popular bar spot in the area. So that excuses the very weird alley entryway I guess. Inside is a somewhat shabby but cozy spot with low lighting and lots of writing on the walls/booths. Food is mostly basic bar food but the burgers and onion rings are great. I'm not usually a fan of bars, but Crunchy's had a great college bar atmosphere with posters and names scrawled by college kids. They really nailed their focus on being a college bar. I always rate a place based on how well they achieve their intended atmosphere or theme. The food was decent for bar fare, and overall, the bar had a good scene. If a fancy hotel wanted to achieve a modern look, they would have items in their rooms that give off a modern vibe. This is what I mean by the "focus of topic".

All of it was excellent!! Just like I remembered almost 40 years ago from being a student and getting my 1st legal drink at Crunchy 's. This time, I visited with my 23 yo son and his gf as we were passing through. The food was stellar! The service was spectacular and friendly!
