"Unfortunately, the tom yum noodle soup was a letdown. Given how delicious the sashimi was, I had high hopes for the soup. However, it lacked the essential ingredients one expects in a tom yum dish: no mushrooms, lemongrass, shrimp, lime, Thai chilies, or cilantro. Instead, it was served with just bean sprouts, pho noodles, and green onions. When asked if I wanted pork, chicken, or steak, I chose pork, but the menu had indicated that it would come with chicken and shrimp. Overall, it was unfulfilling and didn't meet my craving for tom yum, although it wasn't terrible—I just wouldn't classify it as tom yum soup.
As for the service, it was pretty uneventful. My server appeared to be in training, seemed quite reserved, and I could barely hear him in the quiet restaurant. He didn't check on me during my meal and didn’t provide any napkins."
