"The food here is excellent, tasty, fresh and clean ! Some customers might complain about their service and staff attitude, though i can say that the staff here are super nice people, however, because of their culture or tone of talking could be different from what we expect, so we think they are not as respectful, but thats not true. They are very very nice, kind and rushing to help you as fast as they can! Moving and servicing all tables making sure everyone is satisfied ! I Was there with my wife and two kids and stayed 2 hours. We kept on ordering meal after meal because we loved it !!!! Try the lobster tail sushi !!!"

"If you enjoy watching chefs cook right in front of you, then this is the place to be! The chefs put on an excellent show while you enjoy your meal right before your eyes. The sushi here is also top-notch, with a wide variety of options and special rolls to choose from. I have been here several times and always find myself ordering the same delicious roll and leaving satisfied. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault! While the hibachi can be a bit pricey, it's the only hibachi experience I've had and the entertainment, interaction, and delicious food make it worth the cost. I would also like to extend a special thank you to the gentleman who treated me and my family during one of our visits – your generosity is greatly appreciated."

"When we approached her at the register to explain that my phone was now sticky and the speaker was malfunctioning, she became extremely defensive and switched to another language. She claimed she only spilled a few drops and then accused me of spilling the rest! What kind of logic is that? She also asked, "What do you want from me?" like we were just trying to get money. All we wanted was to notify her that I would be having my phone looked at and that, if there was any damage, she would be responsible for the repairs. What she didn’t realize is that I speak five languages and understood everything she said, including her frustration over the spill. In the end, they didn't take care of our bill, and we ended up paying $40 for terrible service and a damaged phone. We even spoke with a sheriff who offered advice. My options are to file a small claims case or write a negative review based on his recommendation. This experience was unacceptable. We used to really enjoy this place, but no more. Her behavior toward customers was completely unprofessional and childish."

"Ichi Tokyo is and has always been my favorite place to eat. Tonight they out did themselves, hands down. I always get the all you can eat. Recently when eating at the sushi bar seating the chef has been offering either a signature salad or signature roll at no extra charge. Tonight was a signature roll. It was a 2 piece roll called a lady finger. They were absolutely mind blowing. After eating an appetizer then 3 rolls and 9 pieces of sashimi, I was asked about a 2nd round and humbly asked for more lady fingers. Telling them I would gladly pay extra knowing they weren't on the all you can eat menu. After some coaxing they made a 4 piece lady finger. They were absolutely mind blowing to the point i of laughing out loud. ,lol, I literally could close my eyes and taste every flavor. I mentioned several times to add this to the full menu]. I will definitely be requesting these every time."

"I appreciated the concept of building my own bowl and the variety of ingredients available. However, I found the seafood components to be rather small. While the size is suitable for mixing with other ingredients, I felt the quantity was lacking, and some of the flavors were quite bland. If you have to drown your food in sauce or dressing to enjoy it, then it raises the question of why you should pay so much. You might as well just sip the flavored liquid that's masking the other flavors you want to enjoy. I'm not a big fan of overly sweet sauces and dressings, which often coat a lot of Asian cuisine. I prefer just enough sauce to enhance the flavor without overwhelming the dish. I might give this restaurant another try in the future to sample a different dish and provide a more comprehensive review. Some of the others in our group ordered various items, including appetizers. Personally, I find plain white rice, as well as the bland brown rice in my bowl, to be uninspiring. Rice should be cooked with broth and additional ingredients to make it flavorful."

"My family spent three days in Rochester attending a Jehovah's Witness convention, and we decided to indulge in sushi on our last night in the city. We were so pleased with that choice! From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service was exceptional, particularly thanks to our waiter, Shane, who paid great attention to us throughout the evening. The sushi was equally impressive. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option, which can sometimes be a gamble for sushi enthusiasts, but it certainly paid off. Unlike some other places, the rolls were generously portioned and crafted with high-quality ingredients. Another highlight of Ichi Tokyo was the speed at which our orders were delivered—within just a few minutes! I’m not sure how they managed to whip up customized sushi rolls so quickly, but it was truly impressive. We will definitely return the next time we are in Rochester."

"If I could give this place a Zero star I would, I ordered from here on UberEats, the delivery guy calls me that he 's downstairs I say okay can you please leave on my steps I 'm coming down now to get it , he tells me Yes, okay , I go downstairs and my food is nowhere to be seen, I call the delivery guy multiple times, no answer, so I then call the restaurant and explain the situation, keep in mind I am a very nice person that doesn 't like conflict but this lady was being very rude over the phone saying it is not her problem and that I didn 't answer the phone when I clearly did speak to the delivery guy, she hung up on me multiple times and said it 's my fault and that I should never order from her restaurant again, I also put the option on UberEats to LEAVE AT DOOR , about 15 minutes of her yelling at me through the phone, the delivery guy randomly shows up and says here take it and basically throws the food at my friend and i, he was very unprofessional and rude to both of us and drove away. This was the worst and only experience I 've ever had like this, I WILL NEVER BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO EITHER."

"I chose Hana Tokyo for my birthday celebration. While I have had hibachi before in other states, my husband and kids had never experienced it, so I thought it would be a fun and delicious choice for everyone. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was very attentive, quick with refills, clearing plates, and friendly. The food was good, with tasty salad, though the soup was a bit bland. Our dishes were cooked well, but our chef seemed inexperienced. He struggled to divide the shrimp appetizer among us and lacked confidence in his skills. The desserts were mediocre, with the fried ice cream lacking proper coating and the bananas just okay. The mango margarita was overly sweet and oddly thick. Overall, good food and service, but disappointing chef experience. I may return for sushi, but would not choose hibachi again."

"This is a restaurant you have to visit, the price is suitable for the quality of the food and it's super fun to see the sushi dishes running on the conveyor belt and you can just choose what you want, so no waiting for your food to get ready.There is also a train that brings your special order if you are want something that is not already available for you to pick up and also has a robot that takes some of the orders to the table. I highly recommend it and it will become one of the places I want to return to again and again."

"good selection and solid quality sushi! a friend and I kept recently from sushi ko to lunch and I was surprised when I came to the restaurant, it is not a big room, and there is only a handful of tables, but it does not really feel crampy or how they are out of the room. there are a good number of parking places on the parking lot, and they will probably have no problems finding a table for them and their group of friends, but I would say find another place for their office team dinner. what is lacking in the physical size makes it with the expansive menu. there is a lot of options and it took us to sort through them and make some decisions! the staff is super friendly and they will often hear that the cook checks in with them from behind the counter; Who needs a better service than that?! overall I would recommend checking out sushi ko! many options for sushi in this area, and sushi ko keeps its own."

"The sushi was tasty, although I did come across a shrimp shell, which didn’t really bother me but is worth mentioning. The miso soup was flavorful, though a bit on the small side, but since it's a side dish, I can understand that. I must say, the salad was fantastic—probably the best salad dressing I’ve ever had! I also ordered a piña colada, but I found it difficult to drink because it wasn’t blended well. I’m sharing this feedback to help others with their expectations. Overall, it was a good experience, the prices are reasonable, and I would consider returning."

"Very nice place. Good sushi, it comes with soup or salad and 2 Bisquick crab Rangoon or eggs rolls. Portion are not large so this is more a kind of special occasion set. The drink was not that good $11). The bomb lobster too much Mayo but very good overall, of course there just 4oz of lobster so flavor is taking out for the mayo and the caramelized onions."

"Came here because I kept passing it every day and wanted to try it on a whim. It's a great place to sit-down and eat! Shreya was very helpful for us figuring out the menu. The food was admittedly... "Make sure you are not in a hurry, and to bring your own soy sauce dish when you decide to visit Hana. We though to give this place a try as our favorite taco place across the street had a line of people waiting out the door when we got there. No so at Hana. When we entered the restaurant at the peak of the lunch rush hour there was only one other table occupied. Maye this should have been a hint already. We were seated and given menus when our waitress disappeared without taking drink orders. What seemed like over 10 minutes went by before she came back and ook our drink and lunch order. The drinks arrived after another rather long wait, but so signs of any food. So more waiting did, and some more that and finally, after 30 or so minutes some sushi started up be coming from the sushi bar. With the first order being served we asked for chop sticks and soy sauce dishes as neither were available at our table. Getting the chop sticks took another few minutes but the soy sauce dishes never came. We asked again and were given two dishes to share for our table of 8. At this point all of us were slightly frustrated when I got up, went to the sushi bar and got 6 more so all of us could finally start eating almost one hour after being seated. The sushi itself was ok, the fish seemed to be fresh but the rice was definitely on the dry side. We quickly finished eating as we were a little under a time crunch. Further delays while paying put us at 90 minute from entry to exit. On the way to the nearby parking garage we all agreed that we would not come back to this restaurant, regardless of how long a wait there is across the street or at any one of the dozens of other restaurants in the proximity."

"Open Table took our reservation weeks in advance, but the restaurant was not prepared for our arrival. Our reservation was at 1pm, we were sat at 1:20pm, and didn’t receive our food until 3:10pm. The restaurant did not have the staff to handle our reservation in addition to the many walk-ins that occurred during the time of our reservation. The wait staff did a great job but management was unwilling and unable to serve the number of customers they were able to handle with the staff on hand. When we let the manager know our concerns he suggested that we not tip our waitress instead of making a separate adjustment to our bill. We were 100% unhappy with the handling of our occasion today (aside from our very nice weightier) Would NOT recommend visiting Wasabi."
