"This is a take out only restaurant at the present time. It was a nice surprise. I was in the area for work and I walked in. I ordered Vegetable Lomein and two Vegetable Springrolls with a Ginger Ale. I thought it was a quick and simple order for lunch...I was to impatient because I was ready to go back to my work. My name was called and my order was ready. I thanked the lady and went out in the cold. I ate the Springrolls on my way back to work and I had to slow down it was hot, soft and good. It was not just because I was hungry. I parked and sat in my car. I ate the best Vegetable Lomein I have tasted. I took an hour for lunch."

"We thought they have good reviews and decided to try. However, if I am in my twenty’s I would give them a slight better review. After trying out lots of different foods in different price point, I don’t think they are worth 4 stars.First of all they sushi we order are very well cooked, I don’t except my salmon on top of the roll are fully cooked. Is that tailored to Chinese that just arrived the US or never eaten raw food before.Second, We told the waitress we don’t want all you can eat sushi, that they put a lot of rice on. So we hope to have good quality foods. The rolls are still hard with a lot of rice. The of the sushi rolls take only like the sauce not the food.Third, the waitress said:” I already TOLD YOU!” As she brings out the sushi and lightly mumble the name of the sushi. We at the time not sure what sushi is it comparing the sushi to the food photos we saw. If it is a cheap and low reviews restaurant, we wouldn’t expect too much. However, this restaurant has good reviews at Yelp and Google. I think people should aware the fact of what we experienced today."

"The food was excellent, and our waitress was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. However, I had to give this place only two stars because the owner's treatment of their employees was unacceptable, making everyone, including us, feel uncomfortable. Our waitress did a great job, but the owner came over and criticized her, claiming she had done everything wrong and had confused the order, when in fact it was the owner who had created the confusion for us and the waitress. She did not deserve to be treated that way. The owner seems to lack any sense of hospitality, and my family and I won’t be returning anytime soon, as we want to avoid being served by her again."

"I would give 5 negative stars if I could! I ordered online through their site. It took 45min for 1 sushi roll and 1 sunomomo. The excuse was we very busy . There were (2) two tops dining in, a door dash driver waiting on a small pickup (his order was 20min past due time) and one lady walking out with to go. To top it off, the photo of what the item is online is not what the actual item is. I ordered the spicy salmon and ita chopped salmon inside the roll. I called and they said that 's how it 's made and online doesn 't have a photo. They are incorrect and have no idea what their website is even showing. The sunomono was completely flavorless. There are plenty of places to spend your money with better service and good food in this area."

"Extremely disappointed. My wife and I have eaten here 20 times and always enjoyed our experience. They never have two people sitting inside so I always make a point to let the staff know that their food is great. We recently moved 20 minutes away and while in the area today we ordered our usual, my wife’s sushi rolls and my shrimp and broccoli hibachi lunch. Picked it up and the lady that checked me out was very kind and when I asked to her to ensure that my wife’s soy sauce was inside the bag she had stated “let me check myself because good help has been hard to find and staff has been screwing up the orders lately after being trained.” The sauce was in fact inside and I went about my day. Got home and opened my hibachi platter which usually has shrimp, vegetables and broccoli on one side and rice on the other side; but found that only half my tray was present and completely missing the rice. We called figuring it was an honest mistake and now being 20 minutes away, had no intentions on returning for the rice, we had just hoped to maybe be offered a half refund for the missing food. Not only did we get denied for any refund whatsoever, the male on the phone immediately accused us of lying and said multiple times that “it is impossible and that we are lying to him.” In no way do we have the time or desire to call a business on a Friday afternoon and create a story about missing rice if it were not true. We offered to send him a picture and again he accused us of lying and refused to show one ounce of sympathy toward their mistake or take an ounce of ownership for their mistake. Icing on the cake was that the quality of my wife’s sushi was the worst it has ever been and the quality of this place has clearly taken a turn for the worst. The lack of professionalism displayed today was disgusting and we’ll never return. Mistakes happen, but for a business owner to immediately and repeatedly accuse his own customers of lying, is incomprehensible. Never again, I hope the rice was worth it."

"I'm a regular at the Italian restaurant on the corner, San Marzano, and I have always been curious about this spot. It seems to have popped up recently, I believe a different Sushi place was there before I could be wrong. They are ONLY offering take out at the moment due to the pandemic. Food: I ordered the lunch special, which comes with three rolls, and soup and salad for $11.95. I ordered each roll to be made with brown rice at no additional charge (they give you the option to stick to white). I chose the Alaska Roll, Spicy Crunch Tuna Roll and the Rock N Roll. Each roll was fresh, and made with quality ingredients apparent with each bite. I especially enjoyed the Rock N Roll, which is deep fried eel, kani, cream cheese, avocado topped with spicy mayo and crunch tobiko. The only negative, is that the soup came in a VERY shallow container, the portion being a lot less than competitors' soup. Ambiance: I can't really say much other than the place is small when you walk in. They have the seating area blocked off for pickup only. Service: The workers were very professional and friendly. When I walked in, he asked for my name, checked in on my order, and was very polite. There were benches to sit, and hand sanitizer provided. Food came out fairly quick. If you're an avid sushi fan, this is a great alternative to Kashi, just minus the ambiance/experience. I would order again."

"It was New Year’s Eve (early, though) and check in was a bit chaotic. No one was at the desk and people with earlier reservations were still waiting. There was a group of 18 waiting to be seated but they had only written down 13 and were struggling to accommodate the party. Overall, we had a nice experience and a fun chef. We’d go back in the future."

"I need to have gluten free options and ordered one of the specials. The waitress checked to make sure this could be made gluten free and the kitchen said yes. So I ordered the special and outside of being too salty, it was great. Larry stopped by our table to check in and he asked how everything was and I told him about the dish being too salty...Larry kindly offered to make another dish and I said no need. We frequent Red Lotus and love everything about it, as well as Larry and Nia. They are so personable!"

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we dealt with them before we did. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"They advertise that they close at 9 pm but when I went to order at 8:35 they told me that they were closed.They might be honest in their closing time that no one will be served prior to 30 minutes to closing time.I guess I have to go find another restaurant before I go back to this place.UpdateI was able to make it to sushi queen and they took my order at 8:55 which is t minutes before closing and they served me.I’m not sure about quality etc but service needs way more help then quality."

"Went for the first time the other night and boy were we impressed!!! The sushi was the best we've had in New Bern, no question!!! We had the sushi for 2 and it was fantastic! Beautifully done with fresh, expertly cut fish. The cherry bomb roll that was included was a delicious surprise. Our server was very welcoming, attentive and efficient. She was happy to heat up our Saki and decant it (the restaurant supplies). So BYOB or should I say BYOS . Going back soon."

"Two. Here (we live about 1/2 hour away, wish we were closer, we would eat here all the time. beautiful decor, excellent and super efficient, attentive, and friendly service (Friday Lunchtime, and they were busy, even a free bowl of hot edamame (and an extra bottle of will and even desert! but I think they only did this for us. everything was really delicious and tasteful, and some seafoods do not often see you like live scallop and Sayori, which not only a beautiful presentation of the whole fish, but the meat is beautifully moved and the skeleton deep-fried, and was totally edible (and very tasty!). only we were less than happy with was the appetizers, one of fried rice cubes with one side of chopped salmon and a dab of lime avacado, the other was chopped tuna on the top of chopped avocado. While both decent tastings were, they were both very simple, without extra toppings or ingredients, very uninspired... would not order this again (and the too high price for such simple dishes. we are not vice versa to pay top-dollar for good food, but these simple appetizers are not justified the price. just wish that they say something extra, something crispy, or maybe tobiko, or thin sliced jalapeno, or extra sauces, etc. Please note and make adjustments, we would like to try other appetizers! (I would give a 4.5 rating, if I could, I would just knock 1/2 a star for the simple appetizers. But would definitely come back for the great sushi and experience."

"Had a disappointing late lunch yesterday with family. They're visiting from far away, keep kosher, and have few options when it comes to dining out. Hit up Borough Park as it has the most restaurant options on the East Coast. They were hankering for Chinese, and we hit up China Glatt in Borough Park, Brooklyn. We saw a sign outside advertising lunch specials that run till 4 pm. We popped in. Only one table occupied. Love dining out off peak! There was a sushi chef by the entrance chopping away and a woman at the register on the phone. Waited over 5 minutes. No one is sitting or talking to us. I asked her if we could seat ourselves, and she directed us to take any round table. Sit down. 10 minutes, no service or menus. Ask the same cashier for the menu and say wait for the waiter. 5 minutes and the waiter shows. Are we ready to order? Duh. No! He brings us tablets with the menus and comes back a bit later to check. We want to order the lunch special, but he denies us as it's 402. We walked in a while before that, and if given menus, we would've ordered. He checks with management, and they say no as it's Chanukah. It's a minor holiday, isn't it? Why did they put the sign outside today? Didn't they figure this out 7 days back? So we order the sesame chicken, crispy beef and chicken and broccoli. Wontons with hot mustard and sweet sauce come out. Mustard was OK. Sauce is not similar to what I'd get in the Boston area. Not good, IMHO. Wontons are very greasy and oily. No one had more than one bite at the table. The sesame chicken was decent and had a good crunch. Crispy beef meh and chicken and broccoli are also not great. It was really difficult getting any attention or service here. We were late due to the long dining experience and had to leave. Took a long time to pay the check. If we saw the manager, assuming they were onsite, we would've said something. IMHO portion size, quality of food, taste, and meh service wasn't worth the $30 an entree price. I'm actually embarrassed we took them there. Not again! Didn't take photos of the food as it didn't look appetizing. Ambiance was meh. Looks old and tired inside. Anyhow, this is our opinion. Wish we had better news to share."

"This restaurant used to have a high 5-star rating, but not anymore. We placed an order for delivery and waited over an hour without receiving our meal. When we called the restaurant, they said they didn't have time to check the delivery app and our order hadn't even been processed. They refused to give us a refund and suggested we pick up our food instead, which defeated the purpose of delivery. They assured us they were refunding us, but they didn't follow through. After 2.5 hours, a manager finally helped us get our order, but there was no apology for the poor service. It was a complete failure in customer service. The owner even told my husband not to return and blamed the delivery app for the mistake. We have been loyal customers for years, even during the pandemic, but this experience was a total disaster. Service and food were both rated as a 1, and we do not recommend any dishes. Meal type was dinner, with a price range of 30-50 per person."
