"No doubts at all, food is excellent. But the day we visited it was super busy and only 2 waiters among approximately 10 tables. Though they were trying their best. Hopefully managers can have more waiters during those busy times. No one at the front counter when we arrived. Waiter there for about 10 minutes for someone to show up. This restaurant does take open table reservation but the person who showed up at desk told us they don’t have any reservation from us. Glad the wait time was only 12-15 minutes."

"I ordered Paneer Kathi Roll and Masala Tea. The Tea was fine, nothing exceptional not bad either whereas the Paneer Roll was worst I have ever tasted.1. The Kati Roll isn't served in a roti/paratha. Instead they use super thin tortilla wraps. What a joke.2. I've attached a photo and video. The outside bread of the roll is not at all cooked. It's sticky, soft, gooey like stretchy dough. Hopefully I don't have a stomach ache tonight lol.3. Lastly, even if they had cooked the bread properly then too the paneer stuffing inside wasn't flavourful at all. Such a shame.I do not understand why such restaurants need 100 menu items if they can barely cook 10 of them right. Customers want quality food for their money, not that when they walk in they see oh wow look they 100 menu items. So much to choose from only find out nothing tastes good.Mostly likely never coming here again. Save your money and go elsewhere!Advice to the restaurant Remove random stuff from the menu if you have no clue how to make it. What a waste of time and money."

"what was that? when we came before covid, we were blown away from their fantastic drinks and service. they had unique things on their menu and were really good. well, just came to birthday and was very disappointed. service was friendly but slow. the menu was faded at the edges you could read most. they were out of a few things. drinks were ok, but expensive for ok. good. all tolerable until our laundry board came. let's unpack this. saltines. the crackers were literally saltines! they ruined the whole board. no cheese everywhere, a thick slice of salami quartered, and oliven. literal olive from a dose banished. I was so disappointed. I would have sent it back, but the kitchen was closed and I needed some food with my beer to drive safely. the prosciutto was decent and actually was a good amount of it (although not enough salinity to eat with) paid and will not be back. so sad. not sure whether the property changed, but the standard went down and the prices rose. can not talk to the rest of the menu. it looked good, but we didn't come to dinner and tried nothing else."

"I ordered the Steak Frites. The steak was a horrible cut of meat and literally less than inches thick. I've purchased and prepared better steaks from Wal Mart. I asked for it to be medium rare and my first steak came well done. The flavor was ok but the steak was touch and full of fat and gristle. The waitress immediately noted that the steak was not medium rare and offered a new steak, (which is great customer service). She brought me a new steak, even though I said I'd go ahead and eat the first one. The second steak came and the center was medium rare but the ends were still well done. There was almost no sear on the steak. The first steak actually tasted better but it is absolutely not a high quality steak. You could find a better steak, literally, in a Denny's restaurant. My wife had the PBBLT sandwich. Pork Belly, Bacon, Lettuce and tomato. It was pretty good but again, not great. Probably worth the money but certainly nothing out of the ordinary. For an appetizer we had the shrimp. They were really good and both of us enjoyed them and we would recommend them. The Service was below average other than her insisting to bring me another steak. After she brought me back the other steak we sat there without being checked on for the entire meal. Didn't get offered any additional drinks etc. We waited, after being finished, for our check for at least minutes. We did not get any discount on the steak meal even though it was clear that of it didn't get eaten. We aren't the type to ask for discounts so maybe that's on us but an astute waitress would have offered or asked. The atmosphere is fine. The drinks were ok. The table water was Luke warm. The prices would be fine if the food were better."

"Food here overall is more on the bland side compared to traditional Taiwanese food. Our favorites were the three cup mushroom, mapo tofu and the peanut salad. We got there right after opening and there were still plenty of seats inside. They suggested ordering online to save time and sitting outside. We assumed that meant we would still get dine in service but it was basically take out which was a bummer. I was hoping for some good veggie options but it was quite limited so we got cabbage. It was bland. The pork buns were also disappointing. That was $80 with tip."

"What can we say..... a total disaster of a restaurant! We ordered To-Go via their website and received a confirmation of the order with a 30min suggested wait time. We arrived around 30min later to a totally empty restaurant with two front of house staff to whom we said we had an order to pick up and the quizzical look on their face was worrying..... they went back and played on their POS system only to realize that they missed the only order they had at that time and in fact told us they missed it and would have the order ready in 15min.... Another 30min later no food. When the food eventually came out and we took it home.... It turned out to be a poor excuse for Indian food. Definitely will NOT be back as there are plenty of good Indian restaurants with great Indian food in the same are to choose from these days. Sorry BBK you failed this time!"

"The food at this restaurant is amazing and the service is friendly and engaging. The dishes are creative and made with incredibly fresh ingredients. We enjoyed everything we tried and found that the portion sizes were just right for trying a variety of dishes while still feeling satisfied. The only downside is if you choose to dine outdoors in their covered shed, try to avoid busy times to fully enjoy your experience."

"Bay Area Hot Breads has disappointed me beyond words. I ordered a customized cake, clearly stating the color I wanted. "After watching a movie at The Jane Pickens theatre, my party and I arrived at La Vecina for our reservation. We were early by half an hour, but the staff kindly accommodated us despite the busy evening. The service was friendly and the tortillas and salsa they served were surprisingly delicious. Our first cocktail, a Negroni, wasn't to our liking, so we asked our delightful server for a recommendation. She brought us a margarita with a red wine topper that was incredibly tasty. The atmosphere at La Vecina is always lively and fun, making it the perfect spot for a date night when paired with a movie at the classic theatre across the street. Service was excellent and the food was delicious."
