"The food at this restaurant is amazing and the service is friendly and engaging. The dishes are creative and made with incredibly fresh ingredients. We enjoyed everything we tried and found that the portion sizes were just right for trying a variety of dishes while still feeling satisfied. The only downside is if you choose to dine outdoors in their covered shed, try to avoid busy times to fully enjoy your experience."

Excellent fish-forward menu, great wine list, and cool, friendly staff. Lots of gluten free options. The mezcal flan was also one of the best I’ve ever had.

This restaurant in Brooklyn Heights is a hidden gem. I tried six dishes from the menu along with a glass of Riesling, and I loved every single one of them. The uni with mushroom pasta was absolutely delicious! View menu

Not much else to say but WOW. Incredibly unique dishes, excellent drinks and such a friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend going early for the 3-course special with a companion so you can try multiple things!

The outdoor dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The ambiance was soothing and peaceful. The seafood dishes (fish and shrimp) were flavorful and appetizing. Our waiter was friendly and provided excellent service.

Everything about our experience here was wonderful. The waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable about the food, explaining the thought process behind each dish. The food was creative, with interesting blends of flavors and ingredients. My group ordered a number of dishes to share, and each was fantastic. The whipped mackerel and seafood sausage were stars of the show.

What a great b day dinner! Was originally headed to Tribeca. What a perfect detour closer to home. While this is tapas and portions are tapas, the flavor explosion is well worth it! Just amazing. Everything was perfect and the impromptu flight of whites is certainly what makes this a fun place. One standout that had us licking our spoon was the corn, clam, lobster stew. Thank you ??

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
