"A solid spot for noodles and sushi! The special rolls were flavorful, and each piece had its own distinct taste. The fish appeared to be quite fresh. The ramen was good, but I found the broth to be a bit lacking in flavor. I particularly enjoyed the cha siu pork, which was tender and well-seasoned. The green tea fried ice cream was outstanding. The Crab Rangoon was decent as well—a lovely, crispy bite filled with a good amount of filling. I did feel the prices were a bit high for the crowd we were with. Overall, it’s a pretty good place! I will definitely come back to explore more items from their menu."

"Was not satisfied by the experience and the food quality . It’s so pricy compared to the food quality , I didn’t want to tip and the lady who handled our check was super super super rude , shouting at me and saying I must pay by LAW I must pay , or I must go and clean my table , she was screaming at me in front of everyone, instead of taking the notes why I was not satisfied and how they can improve , she FORCED me to pay tip , how come I must pay tip BY LAW ?? "Honestly, the value for the meal and entertainment you get is incredible! You can usually find a table, but it's a good idea to make a reservation, especially on busy nights. "Honestly, giving this restaurant one star feels generous. Paying $62 for food that was nearly inedible is beyond me. My aunt and I ordered a bento box that didn’t even come in a bento and a Pink Lady sushi roll. The roll was not edible; the crab mix was gritty, and the shrimp had a fishy taste that was far from just being deep-fried. My aunt's chicken teriyaki bento was disgusting—she had to send it back and ended up getting uncooked beef instead. When we expressed our dissatisfaction to the owner's wife and showed her the problems with our meal, she still didn’t seem to understand. Keep in mind this was after we had already paid. Overall, the food is not worth the money, nor is it worth ruining your taste buds."

"We usually order take out from Japanica and have never had a bad meal. My husband loves the sushi and I stick with the teriyaki, which is absolutely delicious. I really have to highlight the customer service, however. We ordered edamame with our take out tonight but unfortunately staff forgot to put it in our bag. The restaurant called me not 5 minutes after I left to let me know about their mistake and offered me credit on a future order. I was so pleasantly surprised that they called me to make it right. Everyone is so polite and I love the service here!"

"Awesome atmosphere. Friendly staff but the food was not good. The shrimp shumai is pre-made frozen. The gyoza was ok probably frozen as well. The pinaple fried was bland and flavorless. The sushi was terrible. Fell apart when I tried to eat it. The crab in the spider roll was burnt. The water front roll was just gross and the Japanese fried rice is the same as the pinaple just with out pinapl. No flavor no seasoning. It's not even fried!!!! Don't waste your time or money."

"My family and I came to town to visit relatives and decided to try a restaurant called Drake's based on a positive experience we had at the one in Clarksville, TN. Unfortunately, our visit to this location was a complete disaster from start to finish. Despite it being a quiet Sunday, it took an hour to receive our food. The coffee was served cold and we had to use chopsticks to stir it because the waitress neglected to provide utensils. Her careless attitude showed that she didn't want to be there. The steak was overcooked when we had ordered it medium, we weren't given napkins or straws, and had to repeatedly ask for water refills. They didn't refill the milk for our coffee either. We always tip, but not on this occasion. I am thankful that I didn't eat, as I can only imagine how much worse the experience could have been. In summary, the service was extremely poor, with a meal type of lunch and a price per person ranging from $10 to $20. The food received a rating of 3, while the service and atmosphere both received a rating of 1."

"I visited this restaurant twice. The first visit was so enjoyable that I decided to come back for my birthday. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff. The atmosphere is cozy, as it is not a very big restaurant. The food was fantastic. On my first visit, I tried a variety of rolls. For my birthday, I ordered the shrimp bento box and a few extra rolls. There was plenty of food, and we ended up taking home leftovers. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back again in the future."

"I 've been here with my girlfriend and some friends a couple times now. Drake 's is normally SUPER packed especially on the weekends, but I 've been lucky enough to sneak in at some non peak times to really experience the place. The ambiance is chill open air flow during the summer when they open the garage doors leading to the outdoors seating, nice branding and aesthetic on the inside, very inviting environment that is unique to the Florence area in my opinion. I 've had their chicken quesadilla and their Crab Rangoon sushi role. The chicken quesadilla was pretty good typical standard quesadilla that is on their menu as an appetizer but could easily be a meal for one person. You can never go wrong with the quesadilla. The crab rangoon role is a star of the show. This unique, warm sushi role is just a delight and something I occasionally randomly crave from time to time. If you 're a fan of rangoons you 'll definitely love this take on the classic dish. They have a full menu of other goodies and some great drink selections as well as specials they offer that are constantly being switched to new offerings. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some bar type food or sushi!"

"I had a terrible experience here. We had a new chef that overcooked everything. When we brought it up the owner publicly shamed the new chef at our table, we were mortified. Then she took him in the back and continued yelling at him. For the price we paid the food was awful. We were hoping for our food recooked or a discount from the total, it was completely inappropriate how she ridiculed him in front of everyone. At the end, she only gave us a 10% discount for our next visit, not ok!!I have gone before this experience and the food was ok. But I will never go back after my last experience."
