"Sushi has always been my favorite cuisine, and I can confidently say that this is the best sushi restaurant I've ever visited—I've been to quite a few! I would have never expected to find it in Gainesville, FL. While Dragonfly is good, Volcanic Sushi is simply perfection. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this charming little spot because it truly deserves more recognition. Every ingredient is incredibly fresh, and what stands out most is the extraordinary passion that the sushi chefs and the owner have for their craft, which makes the experience all the more rewarding. I can't emphasize this recommendation enough—it's definitely a must-try!"

I made the drive from Ocala to try Volcanic Sushi Sake based on a friend's recommendation, and it was well worth it. The sushi was exceptional, and the hospitality was truly genuine. The prices were just right, too. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others!

This is definitely the best place in town for sushi. Everything is fresh and fairly priced. Nestor and Walter consistently deliver outstanding service. Walter, the sushi chef, is incredibly creative. The sushi here is awesome! Chef Walter is the best!!! My husband and I have tried sushi all over Florida- and can honestly say Volcanic sushi is the best we have ever had- we give all the credit to Chef Walter who makes sure our experience is exceptional every time. The fish and vegetables are FRESH and the display is phenomenal.

We just visited Volcanic Sushi for the first time and it was delicious. It's sure a restaurant which we will revisit again soon with or without our kids. We had red curry with chicken and beef and my wife had tofu fried rice. The amount of food is a lot. The service was fast and our sever was very friendly. Thank you!! We will recommend this place for couples, families and singles as well..
