"First of all, we had reservations but still had to wait over an hour before we could place our orders for salads, soups, and entrees. While the chef did provide great service and was accurate with our meals, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. The restaurant could definitely benefit from some renovations and a deep clean.
The service was lacking; although no one was rude, it didn't justify the high price of the dinner. The food itself was just average hibachi—nothing special. I ordered chicken hibachi, while my husband opted for steak and shrimp. We also tried the in-house sushi that we saw being prepared as we walked in, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. It tasted very dry, and the fish didn't seem fresh at all.
Additionally, my husband ordered an appetizer that never arrived. While they did remove it from our bill, the staff didn't seem to show any concern about the service issue. The employees appeared tired and indifferent to the long waits we experienced. There was a noticeable lack of urgency among the staff. The hibachi chefs were the only ones moving quickly, going from table to table, but that was about it. After we received our checks, an elderly lady frantically came around asking if anyone needed refills on our very watered-down drinks.
Overall, I can confidently say I would not return to this restaurant. I could easily get fast food of equal quality at a fraction of the price. I'm definitely disappointed, but I believe the reviews I read were spot on."
