"So disappointed … We had great hope for an exceptional evening after hearing recommendations from friends. I had anticipated food the quality of Takaoka in Fort Wayne, IN. This was not even close. More like an average Chinese buffet but worse in some ways. Our 7:00 reservations in reality were 7:30pm to we were seated. Every time a chef needed in or out we had to move for their cart. Our party of 4 did the Hibachi VIP meals for two. Most expensive on the menu. $82 per couple for soup, salad, fried rice, shrimp, scallops, chicken, filet, lobster, lo mein noodles and grilled vegetables. Starting with the mushroom soup it was “HORRIBLE “. No one of the entire table ate even half of this nasty soup and I do mean nasty! At Takaoka everyone would enjoy every drop and ask for more. The salad was fine and all enjoyed it. Fried rice was okay but minimal eggs for customers asking for double rice. ALL the fried items were smothered with soy sauce. Ginger sauce okay along with fair yum yum sauce. The Lo mein noodles were beyond terrible! No one would ever attempt these a second time. Medium rare fillet was cooked WELL DONE!!! Everything over sauced and cook to death. Koto is very AVERAGE QUALITY Asian food. I can not see why ANYBODY would want to dine here a second time. Go to Panda Express instead."

"I would give zero star if I could. Today, my mom parked her car under the flag pole and the people here just randomly towed her car to a different spot just because they want to lower the flag. There were absolutely no signs saying not to park there or no announcement over speaker to ask us move the car. When my mom found her car, it were scratched and severely damaged to the point that her bumper fell off. We tried to contact the people in charge of the center as well as the event but no one took responsibilities or even help us in anyway. There were also no camera. I know this center already has bad security but this is outrageous for the people in charge to do this."

"Incredible food, incredible service and incredible prices! We came in while traveling through Buffalo on our honeymoon and we were blown away at how good the sushi was at this restaurant. The place was incredibly clean, the server was the best we’ve had in our whole road-trip, attentive and friendly. We even got to talk to the owner/chef who has been running the business for about 20+ years. They also offer GF soy sauce. We will definitely make sure to come back next time we’re in Buffalo!"

"Firstly, I have to commend the chef; he was fantastic, and our waiter was quite good as well. The food was decent, although a bit on the salty side, but we were mainly there for the experience since it was our daughter's first time. They do offer a kids' hibachi menu for $18, which provides nearly the same amount of food as the adult portions. However, the restaurant needs to improve cleanliness; while our table was fine, there were several random boxes by the entrance, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. The portion sizes and prices were what I expected for a hibachi restaurant. One downside was that they automatically add an 18% service fee to your bill without mentioning it on the menu. I'm not opposed to this practice, but I believe it's important for establishments to disclose it upfront to avoid surprises. Since we went for dinner, I'm not sure if the service fee is lower for lunch. Overall, I probably won't return to this location and will consider the Aurora restaurant next time we crave hibachi."

"We have been customers of Pacific Thai for six years and have always enjoyed the food. Since COVID, the prices have gone up, which is understandable, but then they started tacking on an arbitrary service fee for takeout, which they have posted on a sign by the register is a minimum of 5 . I ordered dinner for our family of five for my daughter's birthday and asked for a total over the phone. I was told the total was $271. I almost choked on that total, but accepted it and came prepared to pay that total plus a tip. When I arrived to pick up my order and the woman rang me up, she informed me that they had already added a 20% service fee, which added $50 to my total. If we were having dine in as a family of five, we would not have qualified as a large enough group for an automatic tip. I was outraged that the total was now $321. When we eat at The Shadowbrook, where we have multiple appetizers and wine with dinner, we come out around $200 for the five of us. $321 for a family of five was INSANE. I did not want to make a scene in front of my daughter because it was her birthday, so I did not say anything. When we left, however, my daughter and her boyfriend were horrified that the tab was so high and that they had just added on the 20% without warning. They then told me that they had stopped going to Pacific Thai for this reason. A boba tea and an order of spring rolls would put them over $20 with the arbitrary take out fee sometimes being 15% for a very small order. We will not be going back."

"I came into eat with my husband to get out of the heat. Five minutes of siting there and we both started sweating. I requested the nice waitress to turn the air down. She told me she was not allowed to adjust the air temperature (76). It wasn't the waitresses fault, I know, but who in their right mind thinks 76 degrees is okay for people to feel comfortable?! We could tell the waitress was extremely hot and very uncomfortable. The owner should be ashamed of themselves having their staff in such heat!! Just imagine the poor chefs!!!! I will NOT be coming back to this place. I do not want to support a business who treates employees like that. My waitresses service was wonderful and suggested really good items for me but I feel so bad for her. Shame on the management!!"

"I think they were too focused on their takeout orders to bother putting anything good on the conveyer, which is a shame. 50% of the plates were half frozen cheesecake and the rest the same five items which were 99% rice with a speckle of fish or full of imitation crab. We were excited to snag a roll with avacado only to find the avocado was brown and taste bad. I did see some separately ordered sushi rolls that looked okay. Seems like that or takeout would be the only way to get a decent meal at this spot."

"Went on 3/31/23 This place was busy but yet quick seating. Fine Dining atmosphere. I felt under dressed in Tshirt Jeans but they welcomed all 4 of us.Waiter was extremely good and knowledgeable about the menu. Very good salesman as well . He talked 2 of us into the daily special.$75 per plate but was well worth it. The food was amazing. Hot , flavorful, tender, good sized portions. Bursting with Umami. We came in knowing it was pricey but left happy and full. We will definitely be back.I got lamb chops and let me tell you. That Asian fusion with the lamb was delicious.Tried the filet and lobster that my daughter got. I’ve never seen her eat a steak and lobster so fast .Seafood pasta was good too. Crispy bacon scallop, tender shrimp , succulent lobster and this fabulous sauce. The crab wontons are the best in Springfield. The ribs on the appetizer plate. Was fall off the bone tender and the sauce amazing. The Chef came out and checked on us and also did a tableside Banana flambé with house made dark caramel and candied pecans. I’m not a fan of bananas but this was the best I’ve had. I could eat those pecans by the bucketful . The Mac n cheese was fresh and cheesey my only complaint was they served enough to take home ?"

"We ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Pad Se Ew as entrees, the dumplings and wontons. The Pad Thai has 0 flavor. It tastes so bland like a buttered noodle. You can tell by the picture there’s going to be no flavor. The salad is fresh but the ginger dressing is really sweet which is a personal opinion but we didn’t like it. The Pad Se Ew is ok but is pretty greasy and tastes burnt. Ultimately a 2/5 stars. The wontons are good but again the dipping sauce is very sweet. The dumplings are good too but the sauce is very sweet. The salads are fresh and the food came out hot but if you’re a TRUE fan of Thai food there are many other preferable options in Nashville than this."

"The food was good and the atmosphere was really nice. We had the larb salad, pad see yew with chicken, and the spicy eggplant with shrimp. The larb was absolutely fantastic, some of the best I've had. The eggplant was really good, definitely worth ordering. The pad see yew was good but not as flavorful as the other dishes but it's a milder dish. Everything was cooked and seasoned very well. Definitely worth trying if you haven't been there. We'll be going back!"

"The earliest I can remember going here was in 1999 and there is a documented photo to help remind me ?. Point is that 23 years later we still eat here together as a family and separately. Life may get crazy but when feeling like some nostalgia, and banging Thai food, Fortune House is where we go. There are specific dishes that are my favorite but overall the food is consistently delicious. Favorite combination is when I eat here with my cousin, we order (1) Rad Na with Chinese broccoli. Before you bite in, add vinegar and dry chili to taste enhances the dish in my mind. (2) pad ka prao chili and basil with ground chicken and rice in the side (3) fried wontons to start. This is your reminder to SHARE (aka family style) so you get to taste everything! Best part? You’ll be supporting a family owned small business.Pictured is Pad Thai and Pad Kapraw (clearly didn’t go with my cousin) ? don’t tell her, she’ll get jealous."

"Our favorite dishes include: - Des Moines Love and Hibiscus drink (delicious cocktails) - Spicy Edamame (full of garlicky goodness) - Koni Salad (heavenly imitation crab) - Crab Rangoons (the best I've ever had) - Fried Rice (incredibly buttery and tasty) - Fuji Yama (an outstanding specialty roll topped with fried shrimp—you won’t regret it) - King Crab Roll (if you enjoy fried rolls, this one’s for you) - VIP Roll (a smoky-tasting, seared salmon-like delight in the form of a tuna roll) - Green Tea Crème Brûlée (I leave the dish sparkling clean when I'm done) Each visit is a treat for the taste buds!"

"Delicious! I participated in a class that catered from Thai silk express. We had pad Thai, pad see ew, and a chicken curry. The pad see ew was hands down AMAZING. It has a sweet flavor to it, a nice texture, and I was also really impressed at how good the curry was. It looks good, but tastes even better, especially with the rice. It was super satisfying to the taste buds. If you’ve never had Thai food before or are looking for a Thai place to go to in DTLA, come here. Order out, because you won’t regret it — you’ll end up enjoying it!! The pad Thai though, was probably my least favorite of the three. It was decent overall; still flavorful, but the other two definitely exceeded my expectations."
