"This is a fantastic spot for a small group outing. I've visited with some of my colleagues and truly enjoy the atmosphere. The hibachi chef is always entertaining and friendly. The rest of the staff is courteous, respectful, and efficient in their roles—never rude, just calm. I often forget to take photos of the hibachi dishes because they are so delicious that they disappear before I even think to snap a picture. The sushi here is among the best I've had anywhere. I managed to take a few pictures today before it was all gone. Currently, all the staff are wearing both masks and face shields for safety. This is definitely one of my favorite hibachi and sushi places in the area."

"Ordered a variety of dishes here including crying tiger, pineapple curry, and sweet and sour stir fry beef. All items on the Thai side. I can't speak for the Chinese side of their menu but it is awesome they have both. Portions are huge and we took home leftovers. All four of us. For the price it was def worth it. I was happy to have leftovers as I enjoyed the food. The steak in the crying tiger was a little under medium and leaned on rare at the center. Sweet and sour was really good here and I loved the curry as well. Overall it is worth a visit if you like Thai food. Waitress was responsive and attentive despite the place being very busy esp for an off time of the day for a late lunch like 2:30. I'll try the Chinese side next time. Also one strange thing is I didn't notice a bathroom. I didn't ask for one but I looked and didn't see a public one."

"We had a reservation however the table was not set, nor did we get plates/service set-ups until 34-40 minutes of sitting. That is also how long it took to get our appetizers (garlic edamame and dragon balls). We knew they had just become busy when we arrived thus we ordered apps right away, so we could be more patient waiting for main course. I think if the communication was better from our server that would have made a world of difference. She didn't acknowledge it was taking a long time, and with a party of 10 the tip is set. We did however love the atmosphere and how kid friendly it was! She kept the soda's coming for the teens, they were happy. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and will go back again. I think additional training for the servers could take this restaurant to the next level."

"Jalapeño does not taste like Bell Pepper, one orders it for the hot feel on taste buds. Head Server brings out a Jalapeño pepper to demonstrate they have some in the back where sushi rolls made. We see it, but not what is in our sushi. Head Server breaks the green long pieces of bell pepper and smells them. Did not disagree they are plain Bell Pepper. With an attitude, server offered to correct or credit. Told her to take it to the back where Sushi maker heard saying out loud, WHAT? after Server informing me will take matter to the back, for a decision. The decision is mine, said the Head Server. Having eaten most of the ONE Roll, informed Server not expecting either. Server walked away saying something under her breath that made her co-worker laugh. Serving the Customer (all Customers) making them feel appreciated is, I believe, most important. People will forget what said to them, but they will always remember how you make them feel. Asked for the check more than once, know busy at times for Servers to do all at once, but no more than a minute it takes to ring up completed total bill I requested, as the two Servers went about taking orders and tended to others here. Not feeling right, I remedied myself with ZERO tip. Sake On Tap suggested, is Good, but version of on tap is that it is served in a most interesting glass flask, with enough for two, yielding at least six shots, that I can remember. How good is the SUSHI here? Look at my pic herein. Tell them ANGEL THE REALTOR SENT YOU."

"In A Nutshell: -Lotus of Siam made famous not only by their own food, but highlighted at one point by the late Anthony Bourdain where he ate at their original location is a outstanding Thai restaurant. -Specializing in Northern Thailand cuisine, this restaurant serves unique dishes w/ flavors that will make your tongue salivate. -With so many choices on their menu, I recommend you go for one of their prix fixe menu selections. -The 3-4 person menu encapsulates their classic most ordered dishes such as their Crispy Fried Rice, Scallop Salad, Garlic Fried Prawns their Roast Duck Curry. -There's so many more dishes I plan on trying over the course of time. -The customer service is also superb, the servers constantly refill your water, clear your table of dirty dishes check in on you to ensure you are happy w/ your meal. Overall, I highly recommend that you RESERVE a table, this place is very popular is located right off the Strip, so you don't want to be standing in a long line w/ out a reservation!"

"We frequently go eat at similar concept establishments around Springfield. This time we had received a gift card to Mijuri so we decided to give it a try. On first sight the establishment looked like it has been abandoned. This is because the windows present on the outside, are barricaded by the decoration on the inside. The look of the building is probably the reason why we had never attempted to visit before. Though looks can be deceiving and the occasion offered us an opportunity to test this theory out. Our first disappointment came when the food on the menu differs from the menu they presented on TripAdvisor and their website. A California roll, usually priced around Springfield, and on their website, for 5$ was now listed as 8$ on their menu. This price was very similar to other sushi rolls they offer so we did not decide to take our usual. The overal quality of the sushi was poor. Even the edamame we took as a starter were off bad quality. Whereas many were brown and were empty to begin with. If I were to give an overal description of the establishment I would say that it feels like eating sushi at price-cutter while the edamame were frozen from Walmart and simply tossed in the microwave for a quick heat. If you’re reading this review please consider going to Koi and/or Haruno. Do not try this place out. It will disappoint you even if the previous mentioned restaurants are a normality to you. To Mijuri; maybe try a different concept if you do not have the funds to measure up to any of the surrounding sushi places, which is obvious for the (very) high prices compared to the service/luxury provided. There are many trendy concepts like sushi pie’s, burrito’s and or such which I highly suggest to consider."

"6 of us ordered a variety of sushi and sashimi. I am vegetarian and had fried tofu in a sauce and the veggie roll. The tofu was pretty tasteless. The sauce didn't offer much flavor. The sushi fell apart to the touch though presented beautifully. My sweetheart had sashimi which he said was good. Everyone enjoyed the flavored edamame. The service was good but we won't choose this restaurant again. There are too many wonderful Japanese restaurants to enjoy that prepare their food beautifully and with awesome flavor."

"I recently visited Sushi Hibachi Bistro and was really disappointed. The dish I ordered tasted just like the 25-cent Top Ramen you can buy at the store—just seasoned water with tiny strips of beef and some celery. After just two bites, I couldn't continue. The waitress offered a 50% discount, thinking she was helping, but I still felt I shouldn't have paid at all. I thought my tip would help make up for the experience. My girlfriend ordered the sashimi deluxe, and the fish had an unpleasant smell and definitely didn’t taste fresh. We enjoy sushi and sashimi regularly, and I can honestly say this place was a letdown. It was my first and last visit; I recommend Psst Osaka Sushi instead—they're far better!"

"The appetizers were EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!! ( Brie Brulee unbelievably delicious!!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad was refreshingly cold, crisp, very tasty and a superb bite. The entrees? Not so much: Crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked..like eating raw dough. The Taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the Gyro Platte, and difficult to access in order to spread on the pita/meat/greens combo, and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the gyro plate per se was eye-catching but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything. The salmon was awesome, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens under everything were too chewy and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was flavorless , but the mousse cake/pie had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had NO bitterness.I would recommend Thea's for FABULOUS appetizers and an awesome beet salad but the entrees left a lot to be desired ."
