"This used to be a great place, but it has really gone downhill in the last year or so. They are severely under-staffed, so the service is incredibly slow. It took us 40 minutes to get our drinks, and we were one of four parties in the restaursnt. Most annoyingly, their menu has specific items that are marked as GF—items you can order that are free of gluten. However, when I ordered one of those GF-marked items (the short ribs), the kitchen told me that they use a ton of flour in that recipe, and that the menu is inaccurate and needs to be updated. It is unacceptable to indicate on a menu that something is allergen friendly, when you are knowingly preparing it in a way that is unsafe for that allergy. Finally, the food we received tonight was just plain bad. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and when my dish came, there were meatballs—yes, meatballs—in it. When was the last time you had shrimp and grits with meatballs in it?? Hopefully never. Disappointing food, horrible service, and a kitchen that is cutting corners left and right to save money on ingredients, but not updating their menus to reflect those changes. I do not recommend visiting here."
