"Affordable generic Mexican Burger joint that never disappoints. The chicken and beef burgers, chili cheese fries, and onion rings are all must-tries. The only downsides are the service and the atmosphere, but you don't go to Hercules for that, you go there for the quick cheap food and that it does well."

"Updated review: Yay!! So I was able to finally try Terry's Burgers today! I got the works burrito. Pretty hefty burrito. Being honest, It's okay. Much like other places but it surely does not disappoint. I look forward to going back and trying more menu items. I've heard good things about their burgers and a few other menu items. There's no drive-thru and parking is pretty limited but not a big deal. Staff was very direct, not very welcoming but again not a big deal but that might have been enough to be the fifth star. The restaurant dining area is very clean and open and there's lots of natural light. I look forward to returning and updating this review and adding more pics."

"Food is okay, it taste good but nothing spectacular. It does get quite busy and the drive through line get long. I suggest you double check your order before you drive off. I want to say 2/5 times I will ask for fried jalapeños and they will forget them or more often they will put ice when I request no ice. Also it's rare to have salted fries, most of the time the fries are plain, not sure if you have to ask for them to be salted. Overall if your hungry and want a quick bite to eat this is a good place provided it's not full."

"Oh my gosh! This place is terrible! I came here for the first time, and the drive-thru speaker was completely broken. I had to call in just to place an order at the drive-thru, and it took forever for someone to pick up the phone. The burrito I got was not good at all, and I ended up throwing most of it away. It’s very overpriced, and the long wait just isn’t worth it. The service was really bad, and I definitely do not recommend anyone come here. This place needs a complete makeover! They should hire a better cook to add some seasoning and flavor to the food. It was so bland!"

"I used to think this was an excellent value for quality Tex-Mex in the neighborhood, but my recent visit left me disappointed. The tacos were completely lacking in flavor, and the portion sizes have shrunk along with their prices, which are now surprisingly high. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning on a scorching day, and the front doors were left wide open, inviting flies to join us at our table. They do offer a complimentary serving of chips and salsa, which turned out to be tastier than the actual meals. It's sad to see a place that once thrived losing its charm and not understanding why business has declined. While there are still many loyal fans of this restaurant, the bar and restaurant industry as a whole has been affected by rising gas prices and other costs. I sincerely hope Ceja's can get back on track."

"Ordered 3 combos to go while in the store. Asked for 2 combo plates and those were rung up correctly. I looked up at the menu board to order another combo, and while my eyes were away the cashier changed the $13+ combo to alicart $12 with no beans, rice, or drink. I ordered the 3rd combo, and she rang up $8 alicart plus $5 meat charge for $13 with no beans, rice, or drink. Caught the switch on the 3rd combo and had it changed back to $13+ combo. Then after pay what looks the correct total, find the first 2 combos are only $8 alicart items changed at $12 each. So it is $5 more for each pair of beans and rice w/o drink. The cashier even rang up the separate beans and rice as drive thru to make it look like two different customers. Very dishonest $17 for each of $13 combos still w/o drinks. The cashier was so happy with the trick she played. Net $8 overcharge and short 2 drinks. Even worse this time (first time) the food was bad. The lettuce was soggy and the chimmis were drowned floating in water."

"This place has truly improved over the years. I have been coming here now for quite some time and the food is just delicious. I just ate the taco dinner with chicken and the tacos were so unbelievably fresh. As I'm sitting here it's 5:24 pm and people are coming in for dinner so you know it's good. I chose to sit in and eat here and it's always clean and bright. I recommend this place highly for Mexican food!"

"I come here so often, the beans can be a hit or miss which is lame because I usually like to get a bean and cheese burrito. But occasionally I’ll get carne asada burrito which is good 90% of the time. Sometimes I’ll get the carne asada nachos or fries which are also delicious, can’t go wrong with their chorizo burritos either, and the rolled tacos are consistently good. The prices have gone up a lot over the years, but for the most part the flavor and quality of the food stays the same and that’s what’s important. I do thing the credit card surge charge is pretty crazy, the food is already more expensive than ever, why charge that credit card fee too??"

"Delicious food at reasonable prices! Just a heads up, their drive-thru isn’t very accommodating for larger vehicles. I saw someone in a Tundra pop the curb and damage their front wheel. Even with the right bike positioning, I struggled to maneuver my suburban. Next time I visit, I will definitely park and go inside instead."

"I went to buy a california burrito and when ordering over the phone, I asked the guy who took the order what ingredients were included since I like it a certain way. He confirmed that all the ingredients I like were included in that particular burrito, so I proceeded to place the order. When I got home, I cut my burrito in half and realized there was no sour cream, one of the main ingredients. I called the store to let them know about the incident, it wasn't a big deal. They told me they would replace it if they brought it back, so I did, considering I live in San Ysidro and they are in Chula Vista. When I got there, they made me another burrito and even made sure we wanted sour cream this time, as it should be. Once I got home again, I repeated the same process. I cut the burrito in half and again realized there was no sour cream so now I was frustrated and contacted the store again to let them know there was no sour cream again. My problem was not solved, so she asked the cook to do it again, and he said yes, he would put sour cream. I continued by telling him I would send a photo if necessary because I wasn't about to be called a liar. She then added that yes, I could send it to her phone and gave me her number. Immediately, while I had it on the phone, I took a photo from multiple angles, showing that there was no sour cream, just cheese; You can clearly notice the difference. Then she put me on speaker while showing the cook the photo I sent her, only to tell me that I was confused and that the cheese was the sour cream, when I had the burrito in front of me. I didn't want to argue and told him it was fine. I'm just not going back and I was going to write this review. She then sent me a message apologizing but still did nothing about it, starting to tell me I could come back and she would give me a refund. I declined their proposal, since it would be my third time going back and forth for something they should have already done right the first time. Not even McDonald's makes mistakes like that; It seems like the employees are more interested in gossiping about girls and girlfriends and how cute one is and how cute the other is, rather than paying attention to what they're doing. I do not recommend this place and I will not return. At one point it was our go to place, now I don't even want to recommend it to my family or friends because of the lack of customer service and lack of cooking skills. I could have made a better burrito at home; I was just lazy."

"The food at this restaurant is usually quite good, but I've experienced too many issues with my orders—either they're taken incorrectly or the service is subpar. I ordered food over the phone today, picked it up, and brought it home, only to find that they got my order wrong again. I called the store to address the issue, and the person I spoke with took my name and number and said that the next time I came in, I would get a free burrito. There was no offer or intention to correct the original mistake at all. I feel like I've been patient with this restaurant over the years, but at this point, I don't think I'll be returning."

"I spent 20 minutes in the drive-thru at the Ralston location tonight at 6:30 pm with my car running, only to be told at the window, "Can you give me a second? Our system's down." After that, the girl disappeared, leaving me waiting at the window to pay and receive my food. There were no updates or apologies from her or the manager, and I ended up sitting there for an extra 10 minutes with other cars. At the very least, someone should have come out to inform customers or temporarily closed the drive-thru until the issue was resolved. This experience reflects poorly on the food and beverage industry. Business owners often wonder why they struggle to attract customers, and this is a prime example. I never received an update or my food, so I left. There are plenty of other options nearby, including Jimmy John’s and Pepper Jax. People have better things to do than waste gas waiting to spend their money. A simple update would have made a huge difference. It shouldn’t be complicated—just take my money and hand over the food first. Clearly, the staff didn’t seem to care."
