"It had a great atmoshpere and the service was very nice. The hostess was really friendly when i went in and greeted my friends and me with a smile. We went ahead and got seated and immediately, the manager along with a server came to serve us and introduce us to some special dish. We had the pineapple lobster roll which was really good and my friends ordered beef tataki and tuna tataki and 2 other rolls. It was delicious. I will definitly come back!"

"Beware of upcharges not reflected in the menu prices. We were overcharged for food, and I see now that we aren’t the only ones. I wish I’d checked recent reviews, but I’d been here several times before and decided to stay despite the dirty bathrooms , towels on the kitchen floor, and lack of customers on a Saturday night. There was a $10 up charge on our $23 meal to add 4 shrimp, and we were also charged $1.50 for green salsa and $2 for using a card instead of cash. The owner was unreasonable, saying we should expect to pay extra when we ask for shrimp. Sure, but $10 extra?? We won’t be back, and he didn’t seem to care. Also, the manager should stop talking about customers assuming we don’t speak Spanish."

"Javelina has delicious food and great service. The restaurant is charming and just a short walk from Union Square. Even the salsa they make in-house to go with their chips to munch on while you look at the menu is delicious. I'm trying to eat my way through the menu. I head over there whenever I'm in that section of Manhattan. Highly recommended!!!!!"

"I was not impressed with this restaurant. I ordered the shrimp tempura, and the vegetables were sliced so thin. The so-called tempura batter was burnt, and the shrimp was simply coated in panko breading instead of being prepared with actual tempura batter. It was also quite greasy. I'm really disappointed and won’t be returning or recommending this place."

"absolutely disappointing! it is not our first time there, but the service was running in the time absolutely negligent, the last 3 times it was just falling, and after this visit I will not go again. reservation for 8pm, sitting around 8.04, cooking showed up to start cooking at 9.10pm an hour we sit only hungry and watch as all the other tables are served. some came after us, but got chef before us. I must say that we could not eat with the time that started “show”. complained to the server, she offered to call manager. manager came, young girl, I don't believe any training at all, because instead of apologising for inconvenience, she tried to convince me that this is regularly Hibachi experience: 1 hour waiting and 20 minutes cooking without show, because our time at the table is almost up. No, that's not a good experience, and it's not regular for hibachi, and there are a lot of places that do it better. I wouldn't recommend this place, they were good, but not anymore."

"First time and won’t be returning. The service was fast, however it’s overpriced and they forgot pieces of our order (including the chips). Got takeout. Taquitos with shredded spicy meat so dry it’s literally turning to dust, no flavor. Quesadilla is plain just a tortilla and cheese. Shredded chicken in my taco came very bland and cold as if straight out of a can, and the burrito again, only has meat in it. I expected at least beans or cheese. It was so tough we had to cut it on a table with a steak knife. Rice had no flavor. The thing with the most ingredients, surprisingly so, was the refrained beans, which came topped with green onions thankfully. Genuinely disappointed. Taco Bell has more flavor and ingredients and I would have saved my money. (We spent nearly $15 per person here) "

"This restaurant is pretty much what you’d expect in Zanesville. They always seem to be understaffed on weekends. Our waitress was friendly and did her best to keep our drinks filled while also managing the bar. I hope they can hire more staff in the future."

"August 1, Yesterday high was 85. As a natural body reaction, we going to sweat as humans. I walked in and had sweat on my forehead. No it wasn’t like someone threw a bucket of water on me , but sweat since I been walking. While entering the restaurant, I bumped into the glass, but didn’t look over it. This lady on the picture manipulated the issue like I looked over the glass and shamed me for sweating. Also, there was a customer after me, so she took her order first. I asked her did she not see me first after accusing me of sweating on the food. She ignored me and started being rude. A lot of words was said on my part. The world that rhymes with witch because she was acting like that. I admit I could have handled it a different way. I was so frustrated how she treated me because it was a first time someone handled a situation, and blew it out of proportion. I don’t understand if she had a bad day then took it out on me, but it was uncalled for. I’m glad she treated me that way because it says a lot about their establishment. Lastly, not to spend money with someone who treat their customer poorly. She bought Ghettino into the establishment that’s so supposed to be professional."

"The guacamole made fresh to order far exceeded what I've had at the Mission in Arizona, though it would have benefited from some pepitas or pomegranate seeds for added texture. The ceviche verde made with the fish of the day was beautifully presented and tasted even better. For our main dish, we chose the signature LA PARRILLADA to share among 2 to 3 people. This sizzling skillet came loaded with a variety of meats and shrimp, accompanied by all the necessary trimmings. It was a great choice, but I think next time we might opt for a selection of different tacos instead. For dessert, we enjoyed churros that might just be the best I've ever had in the U.S. This is notable since my children love churros and we've sampled them in Chicago's Humboldt Park and various places around the Chicagoland area, as well as in California, Arizona, and other states. In short, they were a tasty and surprisingly light treat! I would have never expected to find such a gem of Mexican cuisine on Long Island. The only other Mexican restaurant I cherish is Libertad in Skokie, IL, which is also in an unexpected location. A quick note: the noise level was quite high as the place was packed before 5 PM, and the music was too loud for intimate conversation. While the decor didn't particularly appeal to my taste—it's modern but not sleek—there's no denying that the food is fantastic. This experience made my trip to Long Island even more special."

"My fiancé and I are on vacation with our four kids (16, 15, 14, 8). It’s really hard to find a restaurant where everyone is extremely happy with their food, but Hook Anchor knocked it out of the park! The staff were all very patient and helpful while the 6 of us were trying to figure out what we wanted. We never once felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing them. We ordered lobster fries, clam chowder, two mahi mahi tacos, two crusty crab burgers, lobster mac cheese, and fish and chips. Everything was mouthwateringly delicious!!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our food! My 15-year-old, who doesn’t like seafood, devoured her crusty crab burger. We all walked out of there happy and stuffed. We are here on vacation from Utah, but if we lived in the area, we’d 100% frequent this little restaurant. I’ll be thinking about those loaded fries for a while!"

"Best Sushi in Palm Harbor. Yama-Taiyo's definitely has the best sushi in the Palm Harbor area. I got my whole office to come here maybe once a month, it's so good. The staff is very nice and even though we normally have complicated orders (allergies and picky-eaters). I always enjoy my meal and their lunch-boxes are the best deal I've ever seen for a sushi place. Highly recommended."

"atmosphere: such a nice restaurant! the walls are colorful, the decoration is festive, and the tables have pictures on them. I don't know if all the tables were like that, but more longer I saw the picture on my table, the more interesting details that there was to notice. our waiter often came enough that our drinks were never long empty and the chips and salsa were quickly filled again. some other places do not ask if they want more chips and salsa when it was emptied, but la siesta did! they had a good balance to give us the personal space while at the same time ensuring that our needs were met. with worker 5/5 eat: I ordered the vegetarian fajitas. they were good, although they tasted like sweet in only oil sawed. I think adding a little spicy would make this super. the chips and salsa were also very good. I would eat here definitiw again! food: 4/5"

"I was looking for sushi rolls and they had a great selection! We started with a dry martini and the passion martini which were really good and then we had the plum sake with dinner because they didn't have the orange sake. We had four rolls which was plenty for 2 people and the mango roll was unexpected but a delicious balance of sweet and spicy with the jalapeño. We had the molten lava cake for dessert and our waitress was great! I have been here for hibachi in the past and they do a great job with hibachi as well! I highly recommend Kiku!"

"I feel like every successive visit I make in this facility, the chefs have lower and lower standards for what they put on your plate. My order was wrong and had to be changed. That means that my steak was received from the invasion last second. The temperature was thus drastically asymmetric compared to the other steaks that influenced the end product. In addition, the cook uses too much sauce in the noodles. This took place between 7:30 and 20:30. My last complaint is the wrong handling of the cleaning lobes, if it was a bit better, I might not have had a drop of barbecue and SOAP in my food of total carelessness."

"Like many others who have left reviews, we have been regular customers of this restaurant since 2019, but we have noticed a steady decline in quality. Our most recent visit in 2021 left us unsure if we would return, but unfortunately, we decided to give it another chance today. However, we found that not much has improved, and the prices have actually increased. While we understand that this may be due to global circumstances, the lack of service is unacceptable. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was slow, there were no refills, and no one checked in on us. Additionally, the quality of the food has also decreased. We are not sure if there has been a change in management or staff, but this will be our last visit, and we can no longer recommend this restaurant. We share the same sentiments as many other disappointed reviewers. And to top it off, there was even broccoli in my pho?"

"We used to go to this place all the time and it was our favorite Mexican restaurant. However, it?s really gone down hill recently. Our last two visits have been really rough. We originally chalked it up to a rotation in wait staff, but this lasttime solidified it. Our kids food came out about 25 minutes earlier than ours and when we got our food, it was cold. The onlything hot was the meat for the fajitas. However, the rice and beans that came with it, tortillas, and other entree (a burrito)were cold. We did not get any of our side as requested and our server never stopped by to give us an opportunity to ask forthem. Our waitress also completely ignored us when we asked her to take some of the dirty dishes once our kids finished andbefore our food arrived. We put them on an empty table since she ignored us completely. If it was packed, that would be onething, but it was relatively empty. It?s so sad to see one of our local favorites at this stage"
