"We spent a significant amount of money on our order, but unfortunately, only one item was correct. I ordered an avocado salad to go with my chimichanga, but it was missing. My son requested the nachos supreme, and instead received two small beef enchiladas. My husband ordered the enchiladas supreme and received what he wanted. I understand that we placed our delivery order 45 minutes before El Vacaros was set to close, but that does not justify receiving anything less than what we paid for! When we dine in, they never place the cheese sauce on the side, despite my repeated requests. And for delivery, we didn’t even receive half of what we ordered. Because of these issues, I am not inclined to return to El Vacaros."

"What a fabulous diner! You walk in to be greeted by a charming statue of a roller derby queen. Walk up an incline to a table with napkins and hand sanitizer with a basket for the napkins. Everything immediately looks immaculate. You are politely greeted by a gentleman who lead me exactly where I wanted to be seated. Ashley, a very sweet and attentive server, took my order. The portions were delicious and huge. The photo doesn’t show the chicken orzo soup, but it was also delicious. I didn’t know the quiche would be coming with all that fruit which by itself would cost more than 50% of the entire combination meal. I certainly hope this place is doing well and will continue for many years because they absolutely give more than your money’s worth. Did I say that the food was delicious, huge portions and that the service was perfect? They’re even playing my music. Just go."

"When we asked for a good place to eat on our trip up from Ohio, someone said You can 't go wrong with Monroe Grill! And WOW truly we were blown away. Our waitress was so friendly and kind. She asked about our trip and gave us even more info about local places; I even think it was the owner who walked over briefly and greeted us as well! AND The food was awesome, steamy hot sandwiches, crispy battered fries, and fluffy crepes! The menu really has a little bit of everything for everyone : On our next trip, we will definitely be coming back! "I ordered two Caesar salads with chicken, onion rings, jalapeño poppers, and garlic bread. What I actually received were two salads, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and garlic bread. The onion rings were probably the highlight of the meal, but that's not saying much. The mozzarella sticks were cold, and the garlic bread was soggy and soft. Unfortunately, the salads were the worst part. It was clear that they had been prepared in advance and left out, as the lettuce was in terrible condition—limp and dressed with a strange, tangy, eggy sauce. My sister could barely eat more than two bites. To make matters worse, the salads were not what was advertised. While the romaine and chicken were correct, there was an unexpected Italian dressing flavor along with cucumbers and tomatoes, to which I am allergic. Neither restaurant claims to offer a salad consisting solely of cucumbers, tomatoes, and chicken. I've never encountered a more unappetizing salad in my life, and I've had my fair share of them. Overall, I would give this experience a -10/10. I will never order from El Ranchito or Pasta Brava again."

"I ordered from the online menu and was in for a big surprise. The prices listed were completely inaccurate. One item I ordered online was priced at $16.25, but I was charged $23.00 when I received my bill. Another item that was $10.45 online ended up costing $14.50. After tax, my total should have been $28.78, but it came to $40.47 instead—a difference of $11.69. They really need to update their online menu to reflect the correct prices. I can't speak to the quality of the food since I was so disappointed by the pricing."

"Start with free chips and salsa. Food is always fresh and sometimes sizzling when it comes to your table. They have an extensive menu, almost overwhelming, but they have something for almost all. Waiting was always acceptable, and to be honest, I wouldn't be upset if I had to wait a little more, the atmosphere is happy. Beef/steak, chicken, shrimp/fish/scallops, vegetarian, children's menus, lunch and dinner, desserts, soft drinks/hard liquor, TVs, fish tank and a .25 rubber ball machine. The staff was always good for us and the children. Remember to increase your tips a few dollars, these servers deserve it."

"I had a fantastic Roman veggie breakfast and will definitely be going back. The service was great as well. That was my experience eight months ago. However, I've returned several times since then, and the food has consistently rated about 8.5/10. Unfortunately, we've had the same server, Phyllis, on multiple occasions, and her service has been rather disappointing. She comes off as a bit careless and often forgets things, plus she doesn't acknowledge the generous tips we leave. I think it might be best for her to take a break."

"I ordered three tacos and some soup at 5:38 PM. I called the restaurant three times before my food finally arrived. It was about 6:45 PM when I received my order, although the delivery person called to say he had arrived at 6:40 PM. I ended up waiting for an additional five minutes for him to actually show up. Unfortunately, the soup was cold, the tacos were disappointing, and when I spoke to the person on the phone, they blamed the delivery guy for the delays. This will be my last meal from them."

"I suspect these lovely folks may have failed to fully anticipate the amount they'd be busy on a Friday night service was a tiny bit slow in a way that was really clearly downstream of there just not being enough waitstaff (even though the individual people all seemed excellent and competent and moving as fast as they reasonably could). But a good drink and a nice self serve salad bar makes it really hard to worry too much about that! And the bison steak was, in fact, amazing (after a small snafu with my husband receiving initially a well done steak instead of the requested medium rare, which was replaced), I was fascinated by the interestingly different texture and flavor compared to a beef steak. Special mention for the mushroom whiskey sauce, which we were able to get as an addon with the bison steak instead of bacon, and which I 1000% recommend for any cut of steak, it was MARVELOUS not only did it perfectly complement the meat flavor, it was independently just really amazing, if you gave me a soup bowl full of it I would happily eat it with a spoon. I would have liked to see a cocktail menu I love me a This Particular Bartender's Specific Weird Thing He Made Up but I can't complain about a simple glass of merlot with my steak, either. Overall, really happy with the experience."

"I finally discovered a local diner that offers delicious food, great coffee, and excellent service! The menu is incredibly diverse, with generous portions at reasonable prices. Tammy and Sandra do an amazing job keeping the meals coming and the coffee cups full. I've committed to trying a different entrée each visit for several weeks, at least. Their eggs benedict is simply fantastic! Today, I enjoyed one of their Fall Specials: a pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw and served with French fries – it was a delightful treat. The Greek bowl is also excellent, especially when paired with a side of hummus! My husband happened upon another Fall Special: pumpkin pancakes topped with warm apple pie filling and cream cheese icing, served with syrup! The biggest challenge is finding parking, especially on Sunday mornings, but the wait is definitely worth it, as long as you're prepared for it. I can’t wait for our next visit!"

"First time trying this place. We had a pretty decent group so we took my dad for Father’s Day last night (Saturday). It was quite an odd experience. Overall the food was pretty good. We all liked what we got. Except the older waitress there was RUDE as could be. She didn’t say hello just said sit anywhere you want someone will be with you. If it had been busy, I could understand. I’ve worked in the service industry for 13 years, I get it. Then this young girl comes and takes our drink orders and walks away before I can even ask for a glass of Pinot noir. She comes back, I ask for it and she doesn’t say a word. About 20 minutes later I ask about the wine. She said “oh let me go check”. Another 15 later she brings back a glass of white wine.?‍ I tell her this is wrong and she sends the mean one over and she said “look, we don’t even have pinot noir.” Like I did something wrong lol. This went on all evening. The entire time we were there hip hop was BLASTING from the kitchen and so were cuss words. It was the most unprofessional and least intimate experience we’ve had at an Italian restaurant. The best part was the food and the manager (I’m assuming) asking us about the Groupon.? I suggest take out if you must go here."

"I decided to visit this restaurant with my family, and we loved it! The atmosphere was fantastic, even if you just stop by for takeout. They had wonderful live music, which added to the experience. I would definitely be interested in returning just for the ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious! However, I think the presentation of the takeout could be improved; I’d love to see more sustainable plates and utensils used. I highly recommend this place—be sure to try the enchiladas; they were amazing!"

"I recently tried the birria quesadilla at this restaurant, and it was hands down the best quesadilla I have ever had. In fact, it is the best meal I have had in a long time. I am usually very particular about my food, but this dish exceeded all expectations. The beef was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection, resulting in a velvety texture. I appreciated that the cilantro and onions were placed on top of the quesadilla, rather than being stuffed inside, as I have found in other quesadillas. The presentation was lovely, the service was friendly and efficient, and overall, my experience was fantastic. I am thrilled that I discovered this place and cannot wait to return."

"The food is delicious, but I do have one concern: there just isn’t enough chicken in the burritos and salads. In my salad, I found only three tiny pieces of chicken, and I couldn’t even spot any in the burrito. It seemed like they substituted it with beans instead. They should really call it a bean burrito or bean salad instead of a chicken burrito or chicken bowl. I’m willing to give them another chance, but if it happens again, I might need to look for another Mexican restaurant. Food rating: 3."

"I’m looking forward to my kid’s meal. My boyfriend and I walked here from the Purple Orchid bar about five minutes away. He was hungry for hotdogs but the restaurant next door, a bbq place seemed very good as well. I was happy to be able to order the kid’s meal as I am not very hungry and the choices there are some of my favorites. Not only was he willing to allow us to order the kids meal, he did didn’t seem judgy about me either. I’m wearing a bathing suit today, so I imagine I’m probably not making the best impression today, and I am grateful for kindness from anyone at my age."
