"In June 2020, my partner and I found ourselves in need of a meal one evening. We decided to try a new restaurant or support a local family-owned establishment. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service over the phone from Laurie. We placed an order for the beef brisket dinner with fries and macaroni and cheese. To our delight, the food arrived in just 25 minutes, much quicker than the estimated 45 minutes. This speedy delivery was a pleasant surprise as we were quite hungry. We were impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by the exceptional service from the person who delivered our meal, who we believe was named Dawn. Good luck to the restaurant!"

"Went here last Sunday after a long walk at Balboa Park. We did not have to reserve and was seated as soon as we arrived. They have an outdoor seating and I remember bringing my pet dog here one time. Service was great and the food was really good! I highly recommend trying out the Corned Beef Hash and Egg because it’s one of the tastiest meals we had during our visit. The serving is huge and make sure to ask for a box to go if you cannot finish it in one sitting. They’re not lying when they called their Big Chocolate Cake big because the size of that slice was enough to fill me up until dinner. Highly recommend and will definitely come back."

"I recently had my first visit to this restaurant. When I arrived, a woman directed me to order from the menu displayed on the wall. I chose a chicken cutlet wedge, which was listed for $9.95. However, when I received my bill, I was surprised to see a charge of $12.95. I brought this issue to the owner's attention, and instead of addressing my concern directly, she began discussing politics, the economy, and how Covid has impacted their pricing. I expressed my disappointment, noting that it was misleading to advertise certain prices and then charge more. The owner explained that updating the menu was too costly. Unfortunately, this left me with a negative impression of the place. Paying $13 for a chicken cutlet sandwich feels like one of the highest prices in town."

"I have an order for the last minute catering, a very small work meeting, just needed an antipasto and cheese tablet. I ordered at 11:30 a.m. and found out that the event was canceled at 1:30 a.m., I contacted them immediately to cancel the order for the new date or preferably to change it again. they canceled the $200 order, refunded me $20, and told me they would be happy to accompany our later event, but the cancellation fee is still because they had to throw away all food. a few things. the restaurant industry was hit hard because of the pandemic, I know that. people like me cannot afford to do like these all willing nilly. I know. they had to throw away all food?...Why was there only a 2 hours gap between me to put the order and find out that the meeting was canceled delivery was not planned until 3:30. again, maybe. I'm wrong! but if they had said. if we would still charge them all the amount and throw away all the food, I would have just taken the food and put it in the refrigerator. Finally, nowhere...absolutely nowhere is it written the due customers will be when an order is canceled with this place. they gave me $20 of a $200 order, and we're talking about cheese and olive. it looks like this place has really good food, but I will never order from them again, and no one will be in my company. it is not my fault that someone was sick and that was canceled, not their fault, maybe a better communication and customer service."

"Truck parking is an amazing plus! Food flavors were good, portions were a bit more then average so good there too. Prices are 3 times maybe 4 times more then needed. Banana pancakes, sausage n ham, Bacon omlete with home fries came to 50$ The biggest kick in the teeth was I went to pick it up on sunday june 23rd, I was waiting to the side and heard the manager pull the cashier to the side and tell him to get me out! Where was my ticket? why was I still standing there, He needs to go now! The nice waitress with my order told him the She has my stuff and that SHE has me handled. It just rubbed me wrong the way this guy acted, it was not proffesional. Yeah I know I 'm a fat n ugly trucker but my money is just as green as everyone else 's. We probably won 't be back."

"I've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened, and the food is fantastic, especially considering the prices! My favorites include their pastelitos, patacones, French Toast Platter, avocado toast, mangu, and all of their smoothies are incredible! The healthy shots are also a great pick-me-up for my husband and me when we're feeling a bit under the weather—they help us recover naturally. I particularly love the Chocolate Almond Smoothie! Just a heads up: it takes some time to process orders because everything is made fresh, so I usually order ahead for a quick pickup. If you're not in a hurry, you can walk in, but keep in mind that there isn't much space to stand."

"This is by far the best Chinese food I've ever had! The shrimp toast had a wonderful aroma and crispy exterior. The shrimp lo mein and spicy shrimp with peanuts were also delicious. Our waitress did a fantastic job of balancing the heat in both dishes while maintaining all the flavors. The tea was also fragrant and amazing. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"Great atmosphere, lovely decor, very cozy, spacious, GREAT service.For appetizers I had boneless wings with guac. Both were very tasteful and delicious. Enough for 2 people to share.I recommend the lemonade, it’s homemade not powered sugar the iced cappuccino.For my meal I had a chicken wrap with fries. Did not like it at all. I was expecting it to be grilled white meat, but instead it seemed like shredded thigh. Would not eat, or recommend. We also had a fries crispy chicken sandwich which was good. Both meals comes with fries. Overall tasteful place with great service. Would visit again for sure."

"My breakfast bowl was incredible! The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the home fries were spot on, and the eggs and veggies were fresh and bursting with flavor! It was hands down the best breakfast I've had in a long time. The sautéed asparagus was simply delightful and made for a perfect addition to my meal. My guest also remarked that their breakfast was excellent. With fantastic food and outstanding customer service, everything was superb! "This place is awesome, the employees are great, very nice people. We we're filming Law and Order SVU, I didn't want to eat free breakfast that production offered that morning, so I gave this place a shot. I ordered the #4 breakfast sandwich, 2 eggs with roast beef cheese and grilled onions. I took just 1 bite of the sandwich, and I was in heaven, so delicious. Again, instead of getting the free lunch, I decided to have lunch here. This time, I ordered the Staten Island hero, and got a side order of mac and cheese. Absolute work of art, I can't say anything bad about this place. Another great meal. If your in the area stop by, you won't be disappointed, and you'll leave very happy and full."

"Sesame seed crust, need I say more. In my honest opinion the best pizza in Baldwin and the surrounding areas. I always get a whole pie with extra cheese. So tasty and delicious. "My husband and I visited Miami for a short two-night getaway and made a reservation at this wonderful restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible! I ordered the Bife de chorizo (NY Strip), while my husband chose the ojo de bife (ribeye). Both steaks were cooked to perfection, and the brandy mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious! For dessert, we shared the dulce de leche molten cake paired with banana split ice cream, and it was simply divine! The meal brought back memories of our trip to Buenos Aires. I highly recommend this restaurant! Just be aware that a service charge is added at the end of the meal without prior notice."

"I'm a top 10 local reviewer on Google, and normally I wouldn't write a review for a delivery order, but I felt compelled to do so tonight. After a tough day at work, I didn't have the energy to cook. I had a craving for stuffed pizza, but I couldn't find any of my favorite spots in the city. I often end up with a pizza piled with cheese and topped with tomato slices, which isn't what I wanted. So, I decided to order from here and requested a stuffed pizza filled only with cheese, without the typical chunks of tomato. To my surprise, not only did they deliver a pizza without a tomato base, but it honestly turned out to be the third-best stuffed pizza I've ever had. If you get the chance, you should definitely try it. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy here, except for the Italian salad, but I think that was just because of the dressing, which wasn't to my taste. It's a lovely local establishment with fantastic food and great service. You won't regret giving it a try!"
