"I think 4 is a perfect score. The sushi rainbow roll was great! But could use a little less avocado and a touch more fish (avocado was inside and outside) . The wonton soup is okay, but slightly lacks flavor. Fried rice is great! And the orange chicken was stated in another comment, it is high in breading, but I kinda liked it with a heavier breading. (the orange sauce was good)! I think it’s a premade product for the breaded chicken. Overall worth the . A few tweaks and it would be a 5 Coming from a chef of 16 years.It’s nice they combo sushi dishes and warm dishes!"

"Walking into the establishment I should have prob turned around and went somewhere else. An older man walking into the place saw me coming in the door after him and purposely let the door close in my face. This happened twice. Not the restaurants fault but set a tone. Sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartender. I needed a moment to look at the menu and she gave me ample time. Wine list is very basic. All the Chardonnay btg is Oaked and from Cali no real variety when it comes to the btg catagories. Being as it?s a seafood establishment I wouldn?t think it?s too much to ask to have a petite Chablis, a Sancerre, an Albariño , or an interesting white wine btg. I ordered the Albariño they have by the bottle. The wait staff looked around for the bottle for quite some time. The bartender came to me to tell me it?s by the bottle only. I knew that before ordering it but I guess she didn?t. They finally find the bottle and a guy who wasn?t the bartender was given the task of opening it. It was the most painful thing I?ve ever had to watch. He mentioned they trained him on how to properly open the bottle but he was going to do it his way because his way was easier. He struggled to cut the foil.once the foil was cut instead of turning the corkscrew to open the bottle he turned the bottle while the bottle sat atop the bar. Worst presentation I?ve ever witnessed. Oysters on the half shell were delicious! Ordered sea bass with two sides and I?ve literally never saw a smaller portion of sea bass. I get it?s a tough call with inflation and everything costing more. Maybe offer two portion sizes? I would have Gladly payed more for a bigger portion. Ordered the orange ginger glaze to go with it and the glaze was nearly tasteless. None the less the sea bass tasted very fresh and the old bay fried and vegetable medley all were very flavorful. Finished my glass of wine and the bartender never refilled the glass . I had to do it myself as she watched me pour my own wine. She asked ?are you still doing okay? just as I finished pouring a glass. Im going to give them a pass right now on service because good help is extremely hard to come by but my experience was less than average and I more than likely will never be back. Only walked over from the Mercedes dealership because I was having my car serviced. Best part about my experience was a guy who was sitting at the bar smiling at me and telling me to have a good day as he walked out of the establishment."

"We went there during the lunch time on a weekday. The tempura seemed like it was cooked in old oil and you could taste the old grease, at that point I just stopped eating. The calamari was rubbery with a bland flavor. We also ordered the chicken hibachi which appeared to be undercooked and rubbery as well. Overall everything was not worth it and the waiter must have known because without us evening saying anything he took 20 percent off our bill.I don?t know what happened but when I want Mother?s Day the food was fresh and good. It?s too bad I won?t be returning again after this experience."

"Our first visit was on 1/10/2020. Walked in just before 5pm. They don't open till 3pm. Got a table immediately. The waitress (Katelyn) greeted us within a minute of being seated. She took our drink order and suggested the specials. We ordered an appetizer, the Oysters Rockefeller and a bowl of red beans and rice soup. Absolutely delicious! My wife ordered the Seafood Sampler with mashed garlic potatoes and side salad. I had the Mardi Gras Sampler with mashed potatoes and side salad. Both of which were cooked perfectly and tasted incredible! Our waitress did an excellent job taking care of us. Filling our drinks and clearing empty plates. We then shared a slice of heaven dessert called Death By Chocolate. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet. The dining room was clean and the wait staff was very tentative. After an hour the tables started to fill up. Reservations are recommended for larger parties. Prices are reasonable for the meals being purchased. For the area it is nice to have another great restaurant that serves delicious seafood fare and cajun specialties. I totally recommend Seidel's Mardi Gras. We will be going back in the near future."

"This place has weird energy.I vlog and wanted to make a video of this place. When I was waiting for our table the hostess upfront with short brown hair and dark red lipstick with glasses would not stop staring at me.I guess bc I was filming?! I even said something to a family member like check out this girl throwing me dirty looks. Then my server dropped an entire coke all over me. Def on purpose. The place really did not look very clean either, boxes were stacked in the front with dust and hair. Overly packed. Food caked all on the menu. Would not recommend, there are plenty of other great places in the OBX! don't waste your time here. ? They also were bought out in 2023 so it’s not what it was. Update: called in and spoke to the manger and realized why this place is like it is. They also kept calling me and hanging up after I called…What a joke of a place."

"Had their fried combo #2 (on two separate visits) and their calamari rings. The food is reasonably priced for the current seafood prices of the area, and the food also tastes pretty great. Favorite part about the fried combo was definitely the stuffed shrimp it was massive and tasted amazing. It was a nice little place and the people running it were very friendly. I'll definitely be back again."

"This place serves solid Jamaican. This review would be a 5 star if it weren't for the following: I ordered brown stewed shrimp with plantain and yellow rice and cabbage. The shrimp was AMAZING. Underscore that part. I'm sitting here stuffed, fluffed, and full thinking about how good that shrimp was. The rice wasn't all that. Remember I said I ordered yellow, but I think I got white. I don't even mind the mix up but the rice wasn't salted or seasoned. The cabbage was your standard veggie mixed with carrots. However, I did expect more from my plantain. I only got two and they looked to be boiled, not fried, but I'll make a mental note to request fried next time I go back. The shrimp made me so happy. Also, make a note y'all: an oxtail meal is $25 dollars. I looked at a review from only two years ago when it was priced at $14. Why such a large jump in price?? Besides all of the aforementioned, I like the food enough to go back."

"Tark's is always my first stop after landing at FLL and then my place for lunch at least every second day. The wings are the best I know anywhere, the oysters and clams are fresh and cheap, the various sandwiches are excellent, and it's all made right in front of you. Lenny, the boss and short-order maven, is entertainment in his own right. Tark's is a hole-in-the-wall but don't let that look deter you. Seediness is part of the charm and so is friendly, welcoming service. It's a local institution and one of my favourite places to eat in the world. Find yourself a shabby stool around the equally shabby counter and dig in. It's a safe bet you'll become a regular too."

"Ordered the orange chicken and golden noodles for takeout this evening. The food was very underwhelming.The orange chicken was a soggy mess which is understandle for take out. However, what is not understandle is how flavorless it was. There was no taste of orange or ginger to be found throughout the dish as it is advertised. To top it off, there were many pieces of chicken that were overcooked to the point of being inedible. They were cooked/fried to the texture of hard rubber.As for the golden noodles. They were mostly vegetable and chicken, with little to no noodles in sight. What little noodles were in the dish were overcooked and couldn't even be picked up to be served.Only saving grace was the fried rice. Don't waste your time or dollars"
