"Tark's is always my first stop after landing at FLL and then my place for lunch at least every second day. The wings are the best I know anywhere, the oysters and clams are fresh and cheap, the various sandwiches are excellent, and it's all made right in front of you. Lenny, the boss and short-order maven, is entertainment in his own right. Tark's is a hole-in-the-wall but don't let that look deter you. Seediness is part of the charm and so is friendly, welcoming service. It's a local institution and one of my favourite places to eat in the world. Find yourself a shabby stool around the equally shabby counter and dig in. It's a safe bet you'll become a regular too."

Any time I am in the Hollywood area I have to make a stop at Tark's for the Old Bay Shrimp! It may not look all that appealing at first glance, but the food and the atmosphere make it well worth the stop! View menu

I ordered the gator tail appetizer and I got 11 TINY chunks of gator tail for $15!? Gator isn't even that expensive here in FL so I don't understand this teeny tiny portion. Seriously!!! Wth!!! They're tasty and so are wings but dang. Will never order from here again.

I've been going to this place for almost 20 years and it's the same as I remember. Excellent Excellent. It's busy, but it's worth waiting. I am no longer a FL resident, but every time I have a transfer, or I am in town this is the 1st. Place I want to go to. Comfortable vibes, super relaxed, love the fact that is true for themselves, never changes, so authentic, inexpensive and the food excellent. I love this place. When it is packed means is good
