"I visited today after waiting three weeks (times are tough). My first visit, about three weeks ago, was fantastic. I had the beer-battered fish and chips, which was so delicious that I was eager to try the calamari. Unfortunately, that turned into a disappointing experience. The calamari I had been craving arrived looking like a plate of rubber bands. It seemed to be cooked at least 60 seconds too long.
Trying to be understanding, I quietly told the hostess that it was overcooked and then ordered the fish and chips again. I have no idea how they managed to make the fish so that the batter was doughy on the inside. I ended up spending around $34.90, only to be left disappointed. It’s not about the money; it’s about enjoying good food, especially when you’re looking forward to it.
I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but money is hard to earn, and I can't justify this experience. Your prices are reasonable, and the hostesses are very accommodating, which is why I’m giving it three stars instead of one. I encourage others to try it out, but I hope the quality of the dishes improves. That way, all of us in the surrounding neighborhood can have something nice to look forward to at the end of the day or week."
