"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"Late Post Aug' Our princess tour guide mentioned that Fairbanks is known for Thai Food with 20+ restaurants in the city! According to Northwest Travel and Life Why so many Thai restaurants in Fairbanks? There was a migration of Thai people into the Alaska interior for gold mining; when that didn’t pan out, many stayed needing a livelihood. Restaurants followed. Initially, the fam and I were supposed to head over to Lemongrass Thai Restaurant but after talking to our local uber driver she talked us into this spot. This was the best decision ever, this hidden gem located in downtown behind 1st street is worth the stop. The customer service very friendly, the floors were a bit sticky but please don’t judge them by that because the Thai Food here is insanely delicious! Ordered Pad Kapao Chicken – Garlic sauce, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, basil leaves Pad Pak – Choice of meat with sauteed veggies in garlic sauce Drunken Noodle – Choice of meat stir fried noodles, eggs, veggies and fresh basil Pad zee ew – Choice of meat eggs, stir fried with homemade noodles and broccoli Fresh Spring Rolls – Veggies, soft noodles, eggs, wrapped in rice paper Thai Spring roll – Chicken bean thread, veggies, wrapped in pastry, deep fried – served with chili sauce There were four of us, more than enough! We even took some home. I have never been to a place that make their noodles like this. Living in California, I am use to the mass production of them the perfect shape, size and taste. Here everything is made from scratch daily! Not all noodles were the perfect shape or size but the texture and flavor were awesome! I was so happy to see sooo many patrons walk in after us! The only downside which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault was lyft and uber are basically non existent – we tried for 30 45 mins to get a ride back to The Princess River lodge. If you are in this dilemma, walk across the street and head to the hotel, ask for taxi services and they will give you maybe 4 5 numbers. Should’ve don’t this after 10 mins of waiting!! Our driver was quick and cheaper than the Uber. Pay them a visit, one of the best Thai food joints I’ve ever tried!!!"
