"Service was REALLY awful and the waiter used the excuse we are really busy', but you had to have a reservation (which we had) or you had a very long wait, so it was under their control not to add more customers. We asked for cream and sugar for coffee times, asked for syrup for waffles times, and asked for butter for the english muffin twice and never received any of it thus degrading the food experience as well. Eggs were slightly warm. Beignets (starter) came AFTER our meals came and only because we mentioned that they had not shown up. Would not recommend this restaurant ever."

"We were greeted at the door by someone who told us they didn 't have a booster seat for our 3yr old after I had already called and inquired about it and was told they did. The person just stood there staring at me saying I 'm sorry , and didn 't offer to seat us.Finally, I had to ask, Are you going to seat us or what. Once we were seated, the food was ok. Our waffles were burned a bit, but it was ok. It just wasn 't a good start to my Mother 's Day."

"We loved the breakfast menu here, including the great selection of adult beverages! Our waitress was on point, our food arrived quickly and everything was as ordered. We also took home a pack of pumpkin waffles! Great food and excellent service. We had a beautiful view of the bridge even though it was a gloomy day. The manager even stopped by to see how we were doing. We would definitely return when we get back to Cincinnati."

"My fiancé and I were really disappointed with our meals overall. The ambiance was beautiful, service was professional, cocktails were great, but we were so disappointed with how our entrees both tasted so incredibly bland, I wished we’d cooked at home and had a much better meal. I ordered the “Atlantic Salmon with cauliflower risotto entree.” To claim cauliflower as risotto was pretty bold and I decided to take a chance on the claim. The salmon, “risotto”, and side veggies tasted like water. I was so disappointed. The only thing that tasted good was the side sauce that made the presentation look really nice but couldn’t salvage the flavor. My fiancé ordered the “hand rolled pasta entree with added salmon” and is having a hard time believing the pasta was hang rolled. The salmon and vegetables were as bland as my dish. He wished he’d tried the cheese burger, but at a restaurant like this couldn’t justify such a basic order. We love the resort but would try somewhere else based solely on the food. Get drinks! Not food"

"They charged $5 per glass of iced tea (no refills). The hostess came by and asked if we were waiting for food, and we said yes and she wandered off without any kind of feedback. Then when they finally brought our brunch the food runner announced, “we’re out of catsup” with no trace of an apology and walked away leaving us each with a big pile of dry French fries. Wood used to be such a great spot but this experience makes me doubt that we will go back. Also, even in the middle of Market Days it was almost empty, which suggests that we aren’t alone in feeling like it’s not as good as it once was."

"The food is excellent and never disappoints. I'll keep returning for the food, thank you! Server was stiff and awkward but that was specific to this man and may not be your experience. Checkout was a bit of a fiasco as we paid the wrong bill, never noticed because of the awkward hand-held devices they use to pay at the table, had to have the first transaction refunded, and had to pay again once the server realized the issue. In the course of it all I also missed out on $13+ of rewards that were associated with my account. Great food but that experience made this a disappointing visit. I'm sure we'll still return though."

"We scheduled a reservation for 9:30 on Sunday. We did this so we have a table. Lately if we try to go on Sunday we can't get a table without a reservation. This time even though we had a reservation they did not have a table for us and wanted us to share a table with another party. What is the point of scheduling a reservation? Then we noticed that the table next to us had their dogs at the table. This is the second time this week we were at this location and people had their dogs in the restaurant. This was not a service dog, no identification, just a pet. When we asked the server when they started letting dogs in the reservation she said an untrained staff who was handling the front desk let them in without asking. It doesn't matter if we like the food it's getting too frustrating to try and eat here anymore."

"only our second year christmas eve there, but in any case now our annual eve go. full menu, not only limited holiday price; no prices clinked. most beautiful domestic service, beautiful warm decorations. we could only get a place at 9 (two days before) but we eat late anyway. street parking was easier than most nights, only one block in the cold. montepulciano, mozzarella en carrozza, salimbocca, scarpariello, linzer torte, oreo mousse cake, all fabulous with a lot to take home. an order lacked an ingredient, but it was immediately dissolved with great charm. we love this place."

"TCBY is our go-to place for frozen yogurt. We love that you can get your own toppings and own portions. We've always had great experiences when we come. Some of our favorite flavors are white chocolate mousse, Oreo, caramel, and strawberry. They also have sampling cups so you know which one you would like. It can get a little pricey the more you add so make sure you're not adding too much! Although it is very easy to add too much because they have some great toppings. We went tonight when they were having a special and it was very busy yet we got there the line very quickly and found a table. Very friendly service every time we go. We don't go anywhere else!"

"Peska underwent major a major change in their menu and cuisine, not sure it was for the better. Entrées on the menu are way overpriced for what 's received. The Latin Inspired menu leaves much to be desired. Maybe it 's the locations that dictates the menu prices, but it 's not a good value or worthy of what 's served. My fish dish had bland flavors and wasn 't enough to call an entrée, it would have made a nice appetizer if it had some flavor. Not impressed! My wife 's Hanger Steak was very tough and sliced into small pieces in an effort to make the meat seem less tough. Having said that, we won’t be returning. If you have a desire to visit Peska, I suggest you make it quickly, as they probably won’t be around long. However, the bar seems to be a spot for “trend chasers” so that might carry them for a while."

"I found the "order ready" system reminiscent of a bus station, which felt out of place given the otherwise lovely vibe of the restaurant. My black forest cake was dry and lacked cherries, so I returned it. Instead of asking why I was returning it or how they could improve, the staff member just looked at me judgmentally, as if she were some sort of cake expert. My wife's chocolate fudge was decent, but overall, we really wanted to enjoy this trendy speakeasy spot. However, the prices far exceeded the quality, leading to a disappointing experience. The setting was cool, but I couldn't help but notice the mismatched furniture, which seemed only to be from a thrift store. It would have been nice if they had at least cleaned up the stains!"

"Chicken and waffles great. I subbed a house salad for the chicken which I was happy they could accommodate. caramel milkshake great. They use sugar not refined with animal bone char! Though they snuck in a 7% extra gratuity charge on the receipt. Wasnt clear if that should be accounted for in the server tip. If they are going to try to mix up the paradigm, they should just raise prices and make it clear they pay everyone a liveable wage so tips are not reccomend, like other places do, and benefit from minimal turnover."

"Was really rooting for this place to be great, but sadly could not deliver. They are in a unique location and have an interesting view and decor which we appreciated. They serve beer and wine, no liquor. So my husband and I opted for a glass of the Obsidian Cab. We ordered the apple honeycomb salad to start that didn't arrive and instead we got our entrees and had to ask for the salad and actually, that salad was the best part of the meal. For entrees, I had the Pork Milanese and my husband the Lamb Mafaldine. The Pork was hammered! Pounded too thin, thick breading and over fried. I couldn't cut it with the serrated steak knife they provided it was like eating jerky/I had to rip it apart with my hands. The Lamb dish was okay per my husband. We cut the night short and went to another restaurant to enjoy dessert and after dinner drinks."

"We had a pleasant experience at the restaurant. The music was enjoyable, and the food was tasty overall. However, the pasta dish was a bit dry and could have used more sauce. Our server was fantastic and very attentive, managing not only our table but also a birthday party group. She ensured that we received excellent service. Our table was nicely located as well. We will definitely be returning."
