"really shocked!! something you would not expect.. just a small place next to a boutique hotel... but.... the service was great (although they were super busy)... the drinks were good.. and the food was exceptional.. really.. i was actually shocked by the quality of the food. burger was next level and tacos were fantastic, so were the rolls.. really good.. the sauces that came with it were exceptional .. place was rocking and it was as much a lounge with lots of young ppl hanging out for drinks as it was a place to have a late dinner. the prices were a bit up there but very good quality so I would not really care to look at the bill. The server was great and so was the hostess and the bartender.. fantastic all around!!"

"The restaurant itself has a lively atmosphere, but I really did not enjoy the food I ordered. I got the tofu scramble which comes with potatoes and dry bread. The potatoes were good, but the tofu scramble was not. The tofu was not cooked and the whole thing lacked any sort of spice/flavor. Perhaps there are better options there, but I personally did not have a good first impression of this restaurant's ability to cook good vegan food."

"My wife and I are huge fans of Jen's Guesthouse. We held our wedding reception here a year ago and returned to celebrate our anniversary, and we were welcomed like family! Every time we visit, the food, service, and atmosphere have been outstanding. We highly recommend the pork chop, filet, and the parmesan-crusted white fish, but honestly, everything on the menu is excellent. Make sure to sit on the patio! You won't be disappointed!"

"The vibe is nice. We visited on a Sunday evening and the place was hoping. Unfortunately they were understaffed. My husband got a Cesar salad that hit the spot but not anything special. I ordered a burger a fries, i asked to have the onion held. It came with lots of onion on it. Not s big deal but annoying. The burger was cooked as I as requested, very tasty. We had to wait a long time for our drinks, and had to ask for our check when leaving. It could have been the lack of staff that was the issue."

"We come here all the time as it’s close to our house, which makes it convenient. A few months back, we ordered the fried pickles, which came with a side of steel wool embedded in the batter. The young waiter that was helping us apologized, but didn’t even remove the item from our check. Despite this extremely dangerous situation, we continued coming back, at least once a week, spending between $100-$200 for a family of 4. Tonight we came in, asked for a booth, and we were told they were for reservations only. I looked online and there were reservations available so I asked if we made one for a booth could we be sat at a booth. The young woman who was running the host stand laughed, and said no. Instead seating us directly next to the kitchen in a move that felt like spite. We sat with food being carried out of the kitchen, and dirty dishes being passed over our heads the entire night. Not sure when I’ll learn, I just really wish there was another option in the area. This place makes me so grumpy. "I had a mixed experience at Phoenicia restaurant in Birmingham, Michigan. The servers were lovely, accommodating our request for a nice table for our lunch. Unfortunately, the manager seemed indifferent and even rude, insisting on seating us near the restrooms when we were among the first guests. This lack of professionalism cast a shadow over an otherwise pleasant meal. On a brighter note, I must commend their ice cream, particularly the rose water flavor, which was a delightful treat. "Oh my goodness, if you're looking for a very delicious, authentic Mediterranean restaurant, PLEASE go visit Sunnin. My husband is Egyptian, and he says it's one of the best spots that makes food close to homemade. The ambiance gives the feel of the Middle East. The music, the couches with pillows(and chairs as well) are all esthetically nice and comforting. We have been pleased with our service and wait time. The waiters and waitress are very attentive. I love the stuffed zucchini, the salads, the chicken shawarama, and the garlic sauce. Their menu is pretty extensive, and they haven't disappointed."

"Returned to indoor dining at the Local in Wayland for the first time in well over a year. It was nice to see the restaurant busy and we enjoyed our food. Wait staff was on top of things...maybe more people on staff than a couple of months ago when we were there, outdoors. Our orders came out quickly which was also not the case a couple of months ago. Seems almost back to normal!"

"Don't eat here if you have celiac disease. They don't take it seriously. We were a party of 8 and went to the Wellesley location. We called ahead explained that my daughter has celiac disease and wanted to know the gluten free options. At the restaurant, my daughter I explained to the waiter that she has celiac disease we needed to be certain the mac cheese was gluten free. He said yes the pasta is gluten free. When the food arrived, my daughter asked again, is this pasta gluten free the server said yes. She ate about 75% of the pasta when someone (I think it might have been a manager) came over said I'm sorry but this is the gluten free pasta. I explained that this was a problem we asked several times to verify each time we were assured she had the correct meal. He said sorry and walked off. No one came over to see how my daughter was doing or if she was okay. Eventually the waiter came over with the bill. We explained to him what happened, he said sorry walked away. We were very disappointed in the way this was handled."

"The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was exceptional. I visited on a Thursday night and would definitely recommend making a reservation since it can get quite busy. We started with the Sour and the Peaty in Pink, along with crispy cauliflower. For our main course, we ordered the mushroom pizza, which arrived whole and included scissors for cutting. The staff was very attentive, refilling our water quickly, and when my boyfriend accidentally dropped a fork, they promptly provided a replacement. I highly recommend this place!"

"I am so happy I found Sunnin can get delivery of Kebbeh Nayeh! I am Lebanese from my dad apos;s side enjoyed lots of Lebanese food growing up. Kibbeh Nayeh is like a Lebanese beef tartare, one of my favs! Whatever we did not finish at dinner, we would have with Sunnyside eggs on top the very next morning. The Kibbeh is fresh delicious, the Hummus Kawarma is smooth, creamy flavorful with without the meat pine nuts. I ordered the only dessert I have never had before, (starts with an A) it is creamy with floral orange blossom flavor. We love desserts with orange blossom or rose water with pistachio. Everything was delicious. I only wish they had savory bread (pita with the all spices on top). I will have to try the spinach pies, meat pies, tabouleh, grape leaves, fattoush, etc, in future."

"If your looking for authentic Middle Eastern food in Brooklyn, forget Atlantic Avenue. Le Sajj is your answer. The food, service and value are the best you can find. "We have eaten here many times before and the food has always been wonderful as well as the service. This time was a different experience. Granted it was a Sunday evening, rainy not busy but this time we had to wait for the hostess, wait for someone to clean a table (there were MANY tables scattered around left with dirty dishes, napkins etc which was not an unappealing sight) Our waitress was very pleasant but needed reminders that we can’t enjoy our pita bread without plates, utensils and napkins. The food was still delicious but it was served peace meal. We got the haddock but had to wait a bit for the sides etc. I understand that everyone is short staffed but the staff that is there needs some instruction and help as to how to do their jobs easily and efficiently. By the way, all those dirty tables were still dirty when we left…."

"Excellent food service. We got a good size take-out order from here for the first time in a while, and it was perfect. Food was for our cherished neighbor's birthday, and it did not disappoint. humous/baba/tab was delicious; the baba was the best I've had, combination of smoky and vinegar was just great. My lamb gyro was awesome. Wife's salad was so good, I'm going to buy another one tomorrow and drive it to my parents 2hrs away. The feta is good, but the seasonings on top really make it a different salad Stuffed grape leaves were the best. Will be back."

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"We visited for the first time and absolutely loved it. The bar had a fantastic ambiance, and JD was amazing. We ordered some food, and it was delicious as well.
