"I've dined at many beach restaurants, from Shore Birds in Honolulu, HI to Nikki Beach Club in Miami Beach, FL. However, whenever we visit Grand Lake in Oklahoma, we always make a stop at Ozzie's on Monkey Island. It's said you could drive there, but we prefer to arrive by boat and tie up at the free docks. This place is incredibly kid-friendly, with sand brought in for what they call "Yard Apes" to play in after dinner. When the weather is pleasant, we enjoy dining on the deck under the trees where the staff takes excellent care of you. I particularly love the Greesie Cheesie, a giant cheeseburger that we usually share. Ozzie's is the perfect spot to take everyone after a lazy day on the lake, all without breaking the bank or having to dress up for one of those pretentious places that require a shirt. Unfortunately, there's some sad news: on September 6th, 2014, Ozzie's will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. They'll be open through the month of September, so make sure to visit and enjoy this little slice of paradise while you can!"

"We were in a big hurry before the ballet on a Sunday and had a hard time finding a place to eat near the Kauffman. We stumbled onto to Succotash and put our name on the list. We had to wait in not the greatest conditions and their complementary coffee is like ditch water. When we were finally seated, it was at a table near a door that was probably not supposed to be there. It was awkwardly close to the hostess stand and front door and I got a great close up of a guy's [censored] for a good 5 minutes since he seems clueless I was sitting behind him. All that is the bad. The good was the super friendly servers and the yummy vegan food. My husband and I both got the Vegan Sink, and it was salty and satisfying in the best way. My daughter got the vegan chocolate chip pancakes. They were yummy as well. Next time we are in KC, we will probably go back, but plan on a better time and insist on a better seat, Updated from previous review on 2020-02-17"

"Now called taps and apps: wide selection of beers and various apps. Probably the biggest app list we saw. Eating was okay. We have TexMex Dip and southwest Nachos. We also got free chips and salsa. Chips were a bit fat and very salty, but we could still eat them. Beer was amazing as the service. Waitress was attentive, quick and friendly. There was a small list of dinner options, but not much and nothing that sound too attractive, so we went somewhere else to eat, but overall it was a fun place for drinks and snacks with live music at night we were there."

"All of our meals were very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful in guiding us through the list of beers and brought all the samples we requested. Additional samples we may enjoy were offered. I ended up ordering one of those that were offered by our server. Recommendations: the Phish n Chips, bison burger, junk burger and the spicy pollo burrito! The four others in my party had fries, which I am told were awesome. Only knock would be just a little more sour cream with the burrito. Of course, I am certain that they would have brought me more had I requested a side of it. Just a little loud if you are looking to talk intimately. Was not an issue for us."

"This restaurant was stylish and had a laid-back vibe. There were indoor and outdoor dining options available, and because it was a cold evening, we chose to sit inside. The space was small but cozy, making it ideal for a romantic date night for my husband and me. We were impressed with the appetizer menu, which offered a choice between a hummus plate and mushroom empanadas. We decided to try the empanadas and were delighted with our choice - we wished we had ordered more! For our main course, we ordered noodles with vegetables in a curry sauce. Typically, when a dish says "vegetables," it means carrots and cabbage, but we were pleasantly surprised to find oyster mushrooms, bok choy, red bell pepper, eggplant, onions, and asparagus in our meal. The service was excellent, and the bar served delicious craft cocktails. My husband and I both agreed that we will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future."

"I’ve been going to Godfather’s for over a decade, and since my first bite, it has remained my favorite sub place in the suburbs. Sadly, the last time I went a couple weeks ago they barely put any meat on my sub. I thought it was a one time thing. Two of my friends have gone since I went and they both had literally no meat on their sub (I can post pics for proof). Now I understand the economy isn’t great and inflation is hitting us all, but I’d have no problem spending a $1 or $2 more to maintain the same quantity of meat and sandwich that I’ve adored for so long. I hope this gets fixed asap. The owner and workers are nice, hardworking people and deserve as much business as they can handle."

"I hate to do this because I am a regular of sorts, Once every 2weeks cuz of payday. It 's my 1 treat I ALWAYS Look forward to. However the last 2X I 've ordered my favorite (The Hawaiian) I Specifically Ask for and am charged extra for Extra Sauce pineapple. I like it dripping down my arms n face because it 's FANTASTIC. My disappointment comes when I get home to open it up enjoy a GREAT SANDWICH find it Dry lacking the EXTRA that I paid for. Seriously disappointed, I live too far away to reasonably do anything besides share my experience here. Tubs is an AWESOME Sandwiche joint. Their garlic mayo is 2nd to none the service is always upbeat and friendly. The cooks might have been rushed as it was 5pm on a Friday although there weren 't many people inside. I 'm just trying to give the benefit of the doubt, but this is TWICE in a ROW for me. I guess the Solution is to ask for the sauce in a separate container and inform the counter staff of my requests. It 's definitely worthy of checking out if you 're into sub Sandwiches in the Lynnwood area, (other locations in lake city I think) Anyways, To TUBS, PLEASE Go heavy on Extra When asked CHARGED, Cuz it 's frustrating to pay for it NOT BE SATISFIED, especially in today 's expensive world. "The lady serving was extremely rude rushing me and talking nasty to me and saying comments under her breath at me. They refused to serve me items telling me I was late when in fact they hadn’t closed for at least another hour. "I have worked at UC Riverside for 22 years and the Sub Station is right next to it. So i have come to this shop many times. They have been in business for 50 years. The Substation is my favorite Sandwich Shop compared to other shops and chains. They have a variety of Sandwiches to choose from. All the sandwiches I have tryed are very good, but my favorite is the Big Dude. The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and helpful. The place is very clean and relaxing. I took my family there a while ago and ever since then if sandwiches is choice for a meal that is our first choice to go to. I do recommend this place."

"Different cheesesteak #1111 in the last five years. The young man behind the counter said they make their own sauce so I got a Pizza Steak. I forgot how I love Pizza Steaks. I also forgot I need chips when I eat a pizza steak. The meat, cheese and sauce were grilled/cooked together very well. Very good amount of cheese. The sauce added very good flavor. The roll has me stumped. It was a good traditional roll. But, I think this pizza steak needed more from the roll. I’ll be back to try the cheesesteak."
