"Started with a Casa Rita, a little sweet but tasty, then built the BEST Bacon Cheese Burger types of cheese) I have had in a while. Had the Onion Strings and a small salad. It took Elliana a bit to warm up the the rookie who did not know how things worked. By the end we were cool and the next time I want a burger I will get on BART (only block walk) and go to Walnut Creek"

"Not pleased with the price charged for a double bacon burger. $26 was insane and we didnt find this out until we received the bill. Many add on charges. The lady gave us the white paper and said to pick your burger and the toppings you wanted. And then to squeeze more money out of us slapped us with a 20% living service charge. That brings a hamburger to $31.50 with no fries i might add ...and oh don't forget the tax..... We won't ever be coming back. Way to expensive. Very disappointed. The burger was descent so that's the only reason I gave it 3 stars. And thiss a diner food establishment not a facy restaurant. People save your money and go somewhere else. I felt robbed for 3 burgers. With the bill costing $73 when done and not even drinks. Just water. Responding to owners statement. The burger was added up to 1/2 pound and the server charged $20.95 plus $2.00 for bacon,$1.00 for cheese, .50 for pineapple, $1.00 for blue, .50 for the suce on the burger or it was going to be dry, .50 for hawaiian. We were ordering off the actual menu and the server grabbed a white paper and started marking every on it so we were oblivious to the fact that there were going to be all of these additional charges. Even for my burger I told the waitress that I wanted the $9.95 burger with no bun and lettuce, tomato, grilled onion and pickle and blue cheese. She kept questioning why no bun so you want lettuce and I told her I said that I could not eat the bun that I could have lettuce. She was filling out the paper. I got charged $13.95 for my burger when I specifically told her I wanted the $9.95 one with blue cheese, which I saw I was charged an extra dollar. So yes the 1 burger was $26.00 and a second one $14.00. That's insane and we were shocked. Did not want to make a big scene cuz with another couple. They were shocked about their bill as well and said they would never go back. My suggestion is to build the pricing into the burger and list it so people are aware and not sticker shocked. If all of the information is given up fron and VISIBLE (NOT IN TEENY TINY PRINT) somewhere then it is not felt like it's deceiving. Or put it in the color red so that it stands out that all these extra charges will be accrued. At least tthen, AND only then, will a customer have all of the information up front to decide if they can afford to eat there."

"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still seated at a booth that looked into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved but chose not to be. Server was very enthusiastic, but neglected to fill water glasses without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crunchy would have been nice. Not a fan of a la carte, especially at the price for the entree alone. Room was very dark and somewhat noisy. I would ask not to be seated in that area another time."

"What a nice restaurant! The room is large and airy. The occasion was our daughter's birthday, and we were looking for a restaurant that had a lot of vegetarian options and was local and responsible. We were thrilled by the amount of options they had on the menu. Like many dishes have floral accents, this is the theme of the restaurant. I admit that although I found my food delicious, I could not personally taste the flowers accents in the descriptions. My mother had the trout she enjoyed very much, my daughter had the pappardelle that is homemade, fresh and tasty, with a citrus accent in the sauce. When it arrived, the part seemed small to the eyes, but it was very full. I had the potato gnocchi. I liked her very much, but I will admit to enjoying my daughters even more. We all agreed that the potatoes and lotus root chips we had on the side were absolutely fabulous. My daughter wondered if they could pack the lotus raw chips and sell them in machines! She said they made the perfect snack. The restaurant is disabled. There are absolutely no stairs at the entrance. It's easy to navigate with a walker. Everyone who helped us was knowledgeable and attentive. From the description online we expected a lot more flowers like a flower shop, so we were a little disappointed, it was no longer decorative. I think it would make sense to change this description so that it aligns more with the current decor. Except that I would say it was the most beautiful evening. We will return for more lotus chips!"

"Note: This experience was via DoorDash.My wife and I dont splurge on DoorDash much anymore, but we were so stressed this past week we decided to indulge. I have a gluten issue so I had to scour DoorDash for places with gluten free options. I stumbled upon Burgerology which I felt was fate since someone was talking to me and mentioned it this past week. Kinda pricey, but I know food everywhere is plus the DD fees.I ordered for myself, my wife, and my daughter. For me I got a medium rare cheeseburger on a gluten free bun, cheddar cheese, onions. I asked for honey mustard on the side. My wife got a medium rare cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, cheddar cheese, and sautéed mushrooms. My daughter got chicken fingers and honey mustard on the side.The food got here and it was a huge disappointment. It was all wrong. They had switched all the ingredients on my wife's burger and mine, which is further an issue due to my gluten allergy. Not only that, but they forgot my onions. She bit into what she thought was her burger at first and it was way overcooked. That's when we realized something was off and realized the ingrdients were all wrong. I also didn't get my honey mustard, nor did my daughter. On top of it, I tried a regular fry from my wifes food and it tasted burnt.I called the restaurant and the girl was very apologetic. She said that sometimes DoorDash orders come in wrong. I've never had this issue with any restaurant and we've used DoorDash for years.Luckily I was able to get a refund from DoorDash."

"It was a busy night. We went for 50% off pizza night—love the concept! We have done it several times. Adam was great. We have been going to Domenicos for many years— Our daughters had their Bat Mitzvah there! We love the Osteria. A better option for shade on Patio would be nice—dinner time can be blinding. "My sister and I went here for lunch. Typically, when we go out to eat I convince her to pay. It seems only fair, she 's had more time to save and more experience earning. I also value money more than she does. She let 's other values like family and helping people, consume majority of her energy. Why should I lose something that I value more than her? She ended up saying that she wasn 't feeling too well so if anything I should pay for her. That didn 't make sense to me because I know how much she likes helping people. I thought it would make her feel better by helping her little baby brother by paying for my meal. She said that she didn 't need my help, what she needed was to feel heard. Essentially, I needed to say it must suck that you 're not feeling well . It 'd be better if that was said in a more caring way, but I think that was the gist of what she needed. Anyway, we ended up splitting lunch. I got the chow mein and she got the pho, we both enjoyed!"

"I received excellent service at the bar initially from Alexander. The Bees Knees twist (spicy) was fantastic. The food was generally good, although I found the fries to be a bit over-seasoned for my liking. The empanadas were tasty overall, with the veggie option surprisingly being the standout. The pickled red onions and jalapeños really enhanced the flavor, along with the green avocado mash. Service became less attentive as the evening went on, but overall, it was a good experience. I would definitely return."

"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first few orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."

"Whether you are shopping, dining in or taking out from the salad bar/hot bar, Mother's has plenty of vegan options to keep you satisfied. When I was in culinary school, I had to purchase a lot of unusual ingredients like Irish Moss and various sea vegetables no matter how unique the items on my shopping list were, Mother's always had them. It started to become a sport for me to see if I could come up with an ingredient they didn't have, but they always came through. The hot bar is excellent and they always have four soup choices including vegan chili and minestrone. I shop here several times a week."

"I’m from Sacramento and recently visited my sister and her husband, who wanted to check out this pho restaurant. We gave it a try, and I’m glad we did! They use only Wagyu beef in their pho, and the broth was delicious while the meat was incredibly tender. We also ordered a few other dishes, including the sizzling Wagyu carpaccio, which was delightful and prepared right in front of us—such a cool experience! For dessert, we had some taro teppanyaki, and oh my goodness, I wanted more! Unfortunately, I didn’t snap a photo because we devoured it so quickly. It was flaky, buttery, and just absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely return when I’m in town. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, a fantastic place!"

"Most people think shopping in a place like this is going to be expensive. It's like Trader Joe's and Sprouts. Interestingly, the item I wanted which I usually buy at a regular supermarket (who are always out of it) had plenty in stock and the price was noticeably cheaper than the supermarkets. They also have a salt-free potato chip deep fried in Avocado oil. It's so tasty, you don't need the salt. They have a little café and a bakery that even sells individual pieces of desserts. They also have aisles and aisles of homeopathic and nutrition items."

"Wow, this place is a hidden gem! If you can overlook the college students enjoying their 'beer towers' (167 oz of beer for just $20), you'll discover that the food is fantastic and the beer prices are quite reasonable. "Authentic Thai cuisine bursting with flavor! You must try the veggie curry puffs, as they’re hard to come by elsewhere. I ordered the pad prik khing with tofu, which was definitely on the spicy side. I can usually handle spiciness, but this dish was almost overwhelming for me. "Went for dinner around 7pm. There was no wait though seating was limited. Waiter was flexible and let us move to an open table from the window seat when the table opened up.Got pad see kao with vegetarian duck, pad Thai, green curry, and crispy tofu.The vegetarian duck tasted a lot like seitan. Noodles were cooked through and chewy in a good way and also easy to cut through. The only minus star would be wish for larger portion size is on the smaller side for the price, though the quality is there.Waiter and waitress were very busy but clearly working hard and polite and quick to respond.Will definitely be visiting again."
